The best accommodation in Puerto Rico, Grand Canaria

We have been more than happy with the apartment, we had all the comfort and everything we needed. The accomodation owner was in touch with us all the time by helping us with taxis, giving us advice about the surroundings. We will encourage everyone to choose this location as it is close to the beach and very quiet. We will be back very soon. Thank you very much for having us.

We had a fabulous holiday in a great apartment surrounded by lovely people who made us feel very welcome.

Upon arrival at the apartment we were greeted by Maria Elena and her husband. They were most welcoming and went through all that the apartment had to offer us. We had a nice, cold beer and chocolate waiting for us when we got there. The apartment is very well equipped. There was extra bed linen and towels, and they also had beach towels that we were welcome to use. The kitchen was very well equipped with all that you needed to prepare a meal. It had a microwave, oven, hob, fridge freezer and washing machine. The lounge area was very comfortable, like home from home. No expense had been spared in making the apartment very comfortable for the use of. The apartment was only five minutes walk away from the beach over a walkway and past the Spar supermarket. we found this to be more expensive than the Hiperdino Express at the bottom of the hill on the Avenida Lanzarote. Please beware that the cash machine by the Hiperdino has an extortionate exchange rate. We got caught for £48 for withdrawing €400. Perhaps go to a bank if you wish to withdraw currency! There are plenty of good restaurants along the beachfront and also in the Commercial Center, both only 5 minutes away from the apartment. They offer Mediterranean, Chinese, Indian, Steakhouses etc. The beach has lovely golden sand. There are sun beds and brollies to hire (€12 for two beds and brolly). There are rocks each side of the beach where you can snorkel and find many colourful fish. We also saw an octopus hiding in the rocks. There are a couple of mini golf courses a short walk away. The harbour is 10 minutes away, where you can find lots of boat trips available. We love Puerto Rico and all that it has to offer. A great place to stay. A big thank you to Maria Elena and her husband for making our holiday such a great one. Lynn and Grant.

We were most impressed by its spacious size, the cleanliness and decor. it is most conveniently located with only a 5 minute walk to the beach, and nearby to restaurants and to shopping. The hostess was super friendly and wonderful, ensuring we were comfortable and knowledgeable of the area. This was our first visit to Gran Canaria.

There was nothing to dislike!

A fabulous stay at Apartamento Cascada

This apartment is in an excellent location for restaurants, essentials and sight seeing tours. Everything is accessible on foot including the Puerto Rico beach and Amadores beach. The apartment was super clean bright and airy. All appliances were exceptional and the kitchen was very well stocked. Having the garden outside the door enabled us to enjoy meals and a few drinks. The roof top pool offered beautiful views and the water was always clean. Most importantly, our hosts, Elena and Fernando were top notch, accommodating, helpful and kind. Any small issues ( a light bulb & batteries) they were there immediately. If we had any questions they were always there to help. We will definitely visit again. Thank you so much for a lovely visit. The available lounge chairs at the pool were not very comfortable for reading but this was offset by having gravity chairs available at the apartment, which we took to the pool. Recycling bins could be closer to the building.

Gran Canarian Gem in Puerto Rico

This apartment is modern, clean and spacious with a hi-tech kitchen, comfortable double bed, reliable equipment including aircon and a great outside garden sitting/dining space. It has access to a private pool for apartment users with panoramic views and is in an excellent location.

Perfect

The apartment was perfect in every way. Extremely clean and very nicely decorated. Maria Elena really looks after her guests, plenty of towels, blankets, extra bedding, info booklet about the area and even prosecco when we arrived!! Not to mention she and her husband are incredibly welcoming and helpful. Great location with a garden and pool and the sea a stones throw away. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and hope to in the future

Fabulous

The property had everything you needed ,if not more .Great for a week away and near the beach and the lower part of the resort near the marina .Lovely apartment the hosts were so nice and made our stay even more special as did the neighbours.We will be back again to the lovely Puerto Rico .

The only downside for us was the pool area as it wasn’t very sunny on the pool and we didn’t use it ,my son would have used it but it did need more attention up there to make it more appealing .we didn’t use the pool area once in our stay but the apartment and location near the beach made up for it .
