Lack of appropriate response to issues damaged experience

Location lovely and large house.

Unable to secure house with back door unable to be locked. Arrived to house filthy, including half a meal left out on bench and bins overflowing, and bed sheets dirty. Repeated attempts to be in touch with owners did not address any issues. Very frustrated.

Be much more better if they have some more bedsheets and blankets

Location is ok two minutes walk can get from shopping center and can cook

We’re thankful to them let us check in earlier then early they not get chance to clean and change bed sheets we have to sleep like that upstairs in the room still have some dishes from other rental we have to sleep in the cold specially my wife have fever 103 feels cold mess up our schedule alot

Great place, but …….

well equipped, comfortable, lots of space

during our stay we reported several things that required attention. our messages were completely ignored. we reported that the lock on the front door was detached from the door making the door unusable. we reported that the promised hair dryer was missing. and we reported that the garden gate did not close properly. all of our messages were ignored.

It is a nice property, well maintained, good for families and small groups.

Unfortunately property was not cleared up after last visitors. Probably cleaners didn't turn up due to bad weather! We tried to contact owners through app, but there was no response before and during the stay.

Very good

Great for two families...plenty of space... We felt very much at home...very conveniently located...for Tesco Express, where we did most of our shopping, nice walk around lake...always found a parking space

Dust pan and brush would have been handy.. We also missed dishwasher tabs and washing powder... Heating thermostats didn't work ...top floor extremely heated...to 27 degrees.....in February .. even when downstairs was cool.

disappointed that I have messaged the host multiple times over the past few weeks and have not had a reply, only generic

have stayed before and like the property being spread over 3 levels and children’s extraa

multiple things still broken that I had reported a year ago, including the travel cot which caused a lot of problems

We had a really lovely stay and would love to return another time.

The property was well located, spacious and had a useful range of products and facilities to use.

Some of the equipment in the kitchen needed servicing and was not always reliable.

a shambles!

cleaners were late so we had to wait for them to finish before we could check in so only got into the property after 9.30pm. no communication whatsoever from the owner. could not get hold of him by telephone or email. unacceptable and no apology or explanation. booking.com have tried to fob me off with a voucher to use in the future - will never use them again!

Great location but the property needs some TLC

The house was in a great location and was a good size. There were areas of the house that needed some TLC. The main bathroom there was no shower screen so we had to showers in the en suite. There was a missing door on the dishwasher and some of the door handles were broken. The downstairs toilet was particularly bad, if the door had been closed from the inside it may not have opened. Also my 6 year old son was in one of the bedrooms, he opened a top drawer in a chest of drawers and the whole unit fell on top of him. Luckily someone was in the room with him and was able to rescue him. If it had been a toddler it may have been more serious. On the whole the we had a good stay but we were out everyday if the weather had been poor I wouldn’t have been comfortable staying in the house for longer periods.

The property was tired in places. Door handles, missing dishwasher door and cracked tiles in the bathrooms.

Very good

It met our needs and more for the weekend and was well stocked regarding kitchen equipment and utensils. Lovely ground floor living area...bedrooms are great. We'll be back.

A couple of cosmetic maintenance points to look at... Cracked floor tiles in top ensuit bathroom. Broken toilet roll holder in ground floor toilet. Glass shower screen on middle floor coming away from the wall. Nothing major that would spoil our stay.

Very good

Kitchen is very good for the family with little kids.

House needs some care, some handles were broken, also a lot of "cheap" stuff, like kitchenware of a low quality, door handles are broken, wardrobes are not 100% in shape.
