Ruta de Los Volcanoes is such a beautiful, comforting and welcoming place. Darwin and his family were so kind, friendly and top quality hospitality.
Darwin organised a horse riding trip for us and also a solo/private mountain bike ride for me. Biking down Cotopaxi was such an incredible experience and I don’t think the smile left my face. Darwin organised my guide and made sure he spoke English and also a really nice packed lunch.
On the topic of food, it’s hard to put into words the meals that Darwin and his mother prepared for us. It was so fresh, local and delicious. Every bit was incredible and without fault. You truly can taste Darwin’s passion for cooking in every bite.
We hope to return to Ecuador next year and if do, there is no doubt we will be back to see Darwin and his family.
Thank you so much. Being at Ruta de Los Volcanes and Cotopaxi has been one of the highlights of our trip.
Cannot find anything bad to say about this accommodation. Excellent all round!

We had absolutely amazing stay and food. Our room was super spacious, had amazing views and was super clean. Darwin helped us organise tours in the area which were considerably cheaper than some other hotels and were private. Had excellent experience! Food was super delicious too!

Loved everything, beautiful room with loads of lovely bedding for warmth and with stunning views, lovely food and friendly helpful team. Darwin organised some tours and taxis at our request. All his arrangements were perfect with the guide or driver arriving early ready and waiting for us. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautifully located with view on the mountains. Excellent location to get to the Cotopaxi National Park (north gate). Large room with comfortable beds, good shower. Very friendly hosts. Excellent breakfast with fresh products. We also had dinner here, which was equally good. You need a 4x4 car to get to the accommodation, because the roads are quite bad.
