Located in Grace Bay, this lovely cottage for $250 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Built in 2013. 1 bed 2 bath cottage with private pool. Perfect for 2, but can sleep up to 6. Full kitchen, stainless steel appliances + Breville espresso machine. 2 bathrooms + outdoor shower. No bathtub. Propane BBQ. AC in master bedroom. 10 minute walk to Long Bay beach. 5 minute drive to Grace Bay beach. WIFI and local cell provided. This custom built 1200 square foot home is surrounded by indigenous foliage, cactus', succulents, native stonework and it's a stone's throw from Long Bay beach!! Perched on the ridge, bright, breezy and breathtaking. Watch the sunrise over Long Bay beach from the front deck. Watch it set over the hills off the back deck or from the pool. Star gaze from the second floor balcony. The high ceilings and practical use of outdoor space in this quaint home make it feel larger than it is. With no direct neighbours on either side, it's an ideal vacation home for a couple wanting a very private getaway, a small group of friends, or a family with up to 4 kids who don't mind close quarters and want to be close to the beach. The mezzanine can have either one or two queen size beds set up depending on your groups needs. But be mindful, there is no AC in the common space and if you plan to sleep with windows closed the mezzanine can get warm during he summer months. The master bedroom has a king size bed, AC, 6 foot window, closet and ensuite bathroom. The WIFI works throughout the house and there's a smart TV in the living room with Apple TV connected for access Netflix and other apps. The living room, dining room and kitchen are open concept with a spiral staircase leading to the mezanine. Ceiling fans and windows throughout the house to keep it cool even on the warmest days. All stainless steel appliances in the kitchen including fridge, gas stove, dishwasher and microwave. Dine al fresca at the table for 6 on the front deck. Secluded Long Bay beach with it's shallow waters and steady easterly breezes is a 10 minute walk from the house. While the world famous Grace Bay Beach and the more touristy shopping areas is a short 5 minute drive away. The house is protected with a security system and all the doors and windows have hurricane rated stainless steel security screnes installed so you can feel safe and secure in paradise.

Amazing Vacation

Amazing Vacation

We stayed at Flame Tree Cottage for ten days at the end of June 2022. Kelly is an experienced and responsive host, who has taken care of all of the details (drinking water, towels, beach equipment, etc). This made made our check-in process and stay seamless. The cottage itself is delightful: full of light, spacious, comfortable, safe, and equipped with all necessary amenities to cook and relax. The pool was a bonus! Being able to eat breakfast in the morning on the porch, watching the sunrise over the ocean, driving to the beach in the afternoon and coming back to watch the sunset while swimming in the pool was priceless. The cottage is a short drive to Grace Bay Beach and walking distance to Long Bay Beach, which we enjoyed often by ourselves. Our goal for this vacation was to decompress while relaxing, and Flame Tree Cottage was the perfect place to do so.
