Excellent breakfast choices available served in the very spacious restaurant. The pub is located in a pleasant village with good transport links. The location was not noisy.

Very nice pub, lovely staff and really good food. Room was spacious and clean. Plenty of parking spaces and great value for money.
We could hear the people in the bar, to be expected but they were just talking and it was as though they were in the room with us, dread to think what it’s like on a livlier night

The room was a little bit outdated and nothing special but I just needed somewhere to stay for one night after a friends birthday party so I didn't spend much time there. As a single occupant I was relieved that the bed was a double and the room was spacious. Reasonably clean room and free parking. Located in a quiet village a short drive taxi away from where I needed to be which was on the whole why I chose it. The lady on shift during my stay was pleasant and helpful.
I was really disappointed with the breakfast. Apparently the food at the pub is recommended for lunch and dinner and so it felt a let down that breakfast was so poor. I felt the breakfast included in the room price was a bit of a sales ploy with poor follow up. No fresh coffee or tea (self serve freeze dried coffee in a tin and jugs of tepid water) and the continental element comprised of a couple of boxes of cereal and a jug of orange juice. There was a choice of hot breakfasts however I ordered a bacon sandwich which was a couple of pieces of fatty bacon between two pieces of cheap sliced bread.
