Situated in Miramar Beach, this lovely cottage for $354 per night is a great choice for your next trip. “As Goos As It Gets" A perfect '10' cottage is now even better as Spring 2020 remodel includes a new high end luxury kitchen and new master bathroom. Everything is freshly painted and beautiful new driftwood tile floors. This is a luxury stay! The property features a front covered porch, rear screened porch, and a lushly landscaped yard with a picket fence with lavish pool right out back. Very clean! Beach service (Chairs and unbrella) for 2 included! NO GOLF CART REQUIRED - 2 min walk to beach! Restaurants nearby for short walk! A VERY short walk to private uncrowded Frangista beach (4 minutes and your toes are in the famous Emerald Waters) with the uncrowded neighborhood pool directly behind home. You can sit on screened porch and watch the kids swim in the luxurious large pool. This charming cottage has 11 ft ceilings and all driftwood tile floors (no carpet). The owner is an interior/kitchen and bath designer and has left nothing unattended - you will be pleasantly surprised by the tasteful vintage decor. Colors are soft and relaxing and no detail has been overlooked including high quality bedding. You will be charmed by the iron beds, cotton quilts and vintage linen fabrics. There is a large LCD TV with surround sound in the gathering room and 3 flat screens in bedrooms as well as DVD in living room. There is a luxury king bed in the master (guests rave), a king in bedroom 2 and queen in the other bedroom. There is also a queen sleeper sofa (new in 2019) and a queen air mattress with integrated air inflation. You will feel as if you are staying at a Five Star Luxury Bed and Breakfast. The master suite, named La Jardin Suite (the garden suite) has soft pistachio green walls, hydrangea wreath, garden statuary, wrought iron accents, and beautiful art and accessories. It is refreshing and relaxing and perfect in every detail. The secondary suite, named La Petite Suite, is decorated with a Country French cotton quilt and bedding, black iron bed and black distressed furnishings. Beautiful original oils and limited edition prints complete the pleasing ambience of this room. The kitchen is fully equipped so if you prefer to donning your apron instead of waiting in line at a restaurant, everything you need is there including stainless appliances, a new LG induction range, a new Bosch dishwasher, Bosch side by side fridge with ice and water in the door and and refrigerated filtered water at the sink. The gathering room is something out of a magazine with it's slip-covered furniture, original oils and vintage touches. The large oval table in a distressed red finish will seat 3-4 plus 5 at the kitchen island. The walk to the beach is about 200 yards (very very short). Your toes will touch the beautiful white sands of the Gulf in minutes. You cross Scenic 98 which is not busy. It also has speed bumps all along the road and at the private beach access. Although we have wireless internet access, you can also walk to the corner to 'Bad Ass Coffee' for internet access and a great cup of java. If you are not familiar with Scenic 98 location, it departs from hwy 98 at the Destin Commons Mall and comes back into 98 at Silver Sands Outlet Mall (shopping mecas). This is the road where Pompano Joes and Destiny By The Sea is located. The beaches are uncrowded due the absence of high rise condos in the area. We are confident if you stay once, you will return, making 'As Good As It Gets' your Florida beach tradition. Check in was great. House was clean and fantastic. The back screened in patio was a fabulous addition and the closeness of the pool made this house one we would rent again!

Our renter was very pleasant to work with. All our needs were met and exceeded our expectations. The home was beautiful inside and out. The location was just a short walk to the beach and the pool was right in our back yard. Very refreshing. We so enjoyed sitting on the front and back porches. We would definitely come back again.

The cottage in Miramar Beach was great. We have stayed in the area before, but this was the the best place we have stayed so far. The host was very accommodating, and was quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay. It's located in a nice neighbor that is a short walk to the beach. We hope to come back to this location again, and again.

The house is beautiful and we had a fantastic week! We enjoyed cooking several evenings in the gorgeous, well stocked kitchen. We also loved relaxing on the screened in back porch. It was the perfect spot to enjoy our coffee each morning. It was a quick walk to the beach. There is a wagon with beach toys provided, and our grandkids loved playing with them while we enjoyed the included beach setup each day. Thank you! We will be back!

We loved our stay! The cottage gave off a wonderful Beach/ Farmhouse feel with a cozy decor and high ceilings. We cook a lot so got a lot of use out of the stocked kitchen. The owner's small touches made it feel like home. It had all the amenities we needed and short walk to the beach. Would love to come visit again!

We definitely enjoyed our stay at Miramar Beach! The house was beautiful and everything was just as shown on this site. It is a little walk to get to the beach but definitely not bad….the steps going down to the beach was difficult if using a beach wagon. The chairs and umbrella service on the beach was very nice because our place was already saved on the beach when we got down everyday. The water was just amazing….clear and beautiful everyday! It was nice having the pool so close to the house but it definitely could use some updates and cleaning. We loved the place and would definitely stay again!

We loved the place and the location was wonderful. The cottage it is beautiful and the decor too but the cleaning and maintenance of the house could be better. The mattresses were old and you feel like sleeping in a hole. We enjoy a lot our Thanksgiving family trip. The property manager was wonderful and very attentive.

This is our 2nd stay at this property and we had another great time! Very well decorated and the addition of the doors on the third bedroom was a plus. Enjoyed a glass of wine on the screened back porch each night. Very easy walk to the beach.

We loved the house as it was perfect. Close to the beach (two short blocks). Two chairs and an umbrella set up on the beach so only had to carry our refreshments and towels. Cooked several meals and everything we needed was there for our use. We had an issue with the door lock upon arrival and the owner responded and took care of it very fast. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

This was our first time not staying oceanfront, and it was a breeze walking to the beach (if you have a cart for your cooler, etc.!). The house was beautiful and very clean throughout. Having the pool in the backyard was so nice for our daughter. Owner is very responsive. Definitely go to the beach thru the Hollywood beach access for your complimentary chair setup.

Perfect beach week
We’ve only stayed in condos in Miramar before this, but we’ll never stay anywhere else! The location is perfect - easy walk to beach, coffee, restaurants. The pool is virtually in the backyard making it easy with kids. And the home is very well appointed - we had everything we needed! I can wait to stay here again next year.
The HOA needs to do some upkeep on the pool area, but that’s nothing the owner can control. And it was still lovely!

We will definitely stay here again! Perfect location! Just a short walk to the beach, and the pool is right in the backyard! The house was decorated nicely and was very clean! All of the security around the grounds and at the pool and beach entrances were very friendly! The kitchen is also stocked extremely well! Thanks for letting us enjoy your home!!

Comfortable, Convenient, and Fun
When we arrived at the house we were very pleasantly surprised. We knew we had made an excellent choice renting this house for our week at the beach. To start with, everything was clean inside and out. Very nice kitchen and comfortable living area. The beds were very comfortable. Master bath was extra nice. I spent many hours on the back porch just relaxing, reading, and drinking coffee. Nice shade trees made for nice shade. Sitting on the back covered porch I enjoyed the sound of the water fountain in the pool which was just a few yards away. Short walk to the private beach just took about 4 minutes. I loved having sidewalks along the beach road for my morning walks/run. Beach supplies, ice cream, coffee, and food, short walking distance. We loved every minute of our week staying here and highly recommend this house to all of our family and friends.

Great getaway!
This home was a great getaway for my family. Very close to beach but still off the beaten path where you avoid the hustle and bustle of hwy 98. The community pool was extremely convenient with it being only steps from back porch. Owner Barbara was a pleasure to deal with as well! Thank you!

The owner contacted us prior to our departure with the details of accessing the property and instructions on how to make out stay more enjoyable. We found the home to be immaculate and as represented in the ad. The home was so close to our private beach That we were able to easily walk to their. We enjoyed a personal beach service and took advantage of a most enjoyable time on the cleanest and most beautiful beach ever. Once back at the home we enjoyed relaxing on the back screened in porch and the proximity to our private gated pool. I would highly recommend this beautifully decorated home to anyone who is looking to spend time at Frangista Beach/Destin. I might add, our little yorkie loved it too and was so happy to have a wonderful fenced in back yard to enjoy.

Awesome property. Great location and on a quite street. Spent 6 nights with our adult kids. One of the best equipped kitchens I’ve seen in a VBRO property. If you like to cook dinner after a day in the sun, this is the property for you. Very comfortable cottage feel and relaxing. Definitely would stay here again!

(There is also no beach golf cart parking near anyway). This house was perfectly clean, well stocked with linens, tastefully decorated and in good repair. Lots of little choices the owner made really made the difference between a good and a great experience. First, my favorite is tile flooring throughout. No gross carpet, but throw rugs and furnishings keep it cozy, but easy to sweep the sand up after several trips to the beach. Even things like great appliances, quality cookware and even a really sharp, good quality knife were a plus. The owner has added a solid door to the third bedroom, so that differs from the photos, but it was great to have that. A tv in every bedroom (and extra batteries in the hall) prevented adults having to watch kids shows. We enjoyed a lot of meals on the screened back porch, which overlooked the shared pool. It was never loud or crowded. There’s even a restroom in the pool area which was a huge bonus! A previous commenter said that the beach service didn’t have your name on it, that may have been before the new service took over. But we found our name on our set up every morning, and the attendant asked anyone in our chairs to move, they were very attentive. The host, Barbara was wonderful and quick to respond to all of our questions. We stayed a total of 12 nights with 4 adults and 2 kids and loved it. We plan to come back next fall.
