About this cabin rental
Located on 30 acres of woods with a creek flowing behind the cabin, this recently-built log home has a campfire area for evening good times and s'mores, and close proximity to Lake Michigan, Crystal Mountain, the Platte and Betsie Rivers, the Platte Lakes and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. The cabin has a lovely back porch, loft, living area, Two well-furnished bedrooms (4 queens 2 of which are futons) laundry area, modern kitchen, televisions and WiFi.

If you are looking for a quiet cabin in the woods this is it. Small creek runs through the backyard, and wildflowers in bloom. Enjoyed the fire pit; roasted marshmallows and star gazed. Great getaway.

The place was very clean! The kids enjoyed having a large space around the property. The layout was perfect. It worked very well for us as we were there for a wedding in Honor.

We absolutely loved this cabin!! It was equipped absolutely with everything we needed and it was extremely clean and neat. The hosts were wonderful to communicate with and we had an amazing time!!

Our family was surprised to find several bats flying around the screened-in porch (which is connected to the main floor living room and kitchen area) during the first hours of our stay. We packed up and rented rooms at another local hotel that evening. Phil acknowledged the bat issue and apologized for the inconvenience, and he was working to fix the bat problem the morning after we reported the issue. He refunded the money he received from our rental. The cabin is very nice and located in a great location. Phil was very responsive and promptly attempted to remedy the bat issue, both by agreeing to refund our payments and take measures to prevent bats from infiltrating the cabin in the future. This would have been a great place to stay during our vacation, except for the bats.
