About this condo rental
Located in Carpinteria, this lovely condo for $399 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Our condo is ideal for up to 6 people. It is also ideal for senior couples who love to get away to sunny California every winter. Stay in our beautiful completely remodeled two bedroom two bath condo on the second floor of the complex, just steps to world famous Carpinteria State Beach! Our condo is a part of the beautiful Solimar Sands complex located across the street from Carpinteria State Beach. This condo is facing the ocean and the among the largest square foot condos in the complex. We also have a outside deck in this 2nd floor condo which faces the beach with ocean views and a barbecue. You will find the interior of our condo with a completely equipped kitchen with all new appliances. New vinyl plank flooring throughout entire condo. Both bathrooms have been completely remodeled as well. We have comfortable chairs and a new sofa, perfect for relaxing or watching TV on the Flat screen Smart TV. Dining room table seats six. The two bedrooms are both located upstairs. The master bedroom upstairs has a new Cal-King bed, dresser drawer, clothes closet and a wall mounted HD Flat screen TV to enjoy from bed. The 2nd bedroom has awesome adult-size bunk beds and a full bed and clothes closet and a wall mounted HD flat screen TV too for the kids or 2nd couple to enjoy ! There are two bathrooms. One upstairs and one downstairs. A full Shower/bath is in upstairs bathroom and and a shower in downstairs bathroom. We provide all your linens and towels so all you need is to bring your suitcase! The kitchen is fully equipped with all cooking utensils and even a Blender, Coffee maker, Microwave (of course ) and even a Crock-Pot ! We have a variety of books and games to play in the storage cabinet under the TV in the living room. You will find our condo to be not only relaxing but quiet! The master bedroom is on the beach side where you will sleep to the sound of the waves each night! The living room downstairs, with the sliding door to the deck allows you to enjoy the cool breeze and the sound of the ocean waves while relaxing or napping. The complex has 2 pools and a in-ground spa to rest those tired muscles after a great day in the wine country, golfing or laying on the beach. The complex also has 2 blue tooth app operated laundry rooms equipped with washers and dryers. The complex has easy access parking in front and gated parking in back. Come rest a while at our paradise by the sea in beautiful Carpinteria, California.

We loved our stay here. The condo is exactly as described and photographed, comfortably furnished, well-stocked with kitchen and living necessities. A stone's throw from the beach, and easily walkable into a cute, vibrant town. Lisa, the property manager, was incredibly responsive, cheerful, and helpful if we were confused about how to work something, and generally went above and beyond for anything and everything. Highly recommend!

Overall Great experience the only issue for potential renters might be the stairs going up to the condo and in the condo. We would consider coming back in the future.

Fantastic beach getaway
Can’t say enough good things about our stay. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, and the location was perfect. Forgot to bring something to the beach? No problem, you only have to walk across the street to grab what you need. The unit was tastefully decorated, updated and clean. Our only issue was the spiral staircase. Small children could definitely fit through the spaces in the railings and was not safe. The unit description advertises a baby gate and we specifically asked about this but upon arrival the baby gate was upstairs in its original packaging and needed hardware drilled into the wall in order to install it. Needless to say we didn’t use it. Other than that it was great! We’d definitely return with older children.

Another wonderful stay in Carpinteria
This is the second time that we have stayed at Anne’s condo in Solimar Sands. It’s a great location, close to the beach, pool, on site, views of the ocean, and well equipped. We didn’t have any issues, but the check-in process was very smooth. Highly recommended!

Comfortable, clean, nicely appointed condo ... was perfect for us grandparents, daughter and grandson ... such easy access to the beach and town! Only suggestion is a rubber bath mat for us "old guys" !

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the beach! Carpinteria memories go way back for me. The little community didn't disappoint and the beach with perfect weather, sunsets and more can't be beat! We walked everywhere and our stay at the condo was a pleasant experience.

We had the best week at this beautiful condo. It has the perfect location and everything was seamless - from check in to check out. The condo is well furnished with everything you would need. Tons of blankets, towels and amenities. Ann is very good at communicating any questions and is quick with responding. We have two kids and the bunk bed room was just what we needed. We cannot wait to go back! Thank you for a wonderful summer beach week. Carpinteria is our favorite little town!

We had a wonderful stay at Ann's vacation condo. Fabulous location right across from the beach! The condo was well stocked with everything we would need. Amazing location
Right across the street from the beach and gorgeous sunsets this condo was comfortable and had all the comforts of home for our one month stay. The condo was clean and well kept with comfy chairs and couch and 3 TVs. One plumbing issue, one phone call and 2 hrs later all was resolved. Sitting on the terrace every day was a pleasure.

Nice place, BUT two out of the three tv’s didn’t work when we got there. The owner told me to text/call her with any concerns before we arrived. When we texted her regarding the tv, then about having no kitchen trash bags, her helper came by and told me to call another number with any further concerns. Basically, stop “bothering” the owner. Don’t tell me to text/call you if you are not ready and willing to help a paid visitor!

Great Vacation Rental
We have stayed in this condo before and we look forward to coming back every year. This condo is so clean and organized and spacious. It feels like home. We never want to leave. We love that the second room has bunk beds so that all of our girls can share a room. We like sitting out on the patio and listening to the ocean. The pool is great for the kids and us after a day at the beach. It is nice that you can walk to town. Owners of this condo are very nice and easy to work with. Thank you for another great family vacation in your condo!!!!

Wonderful Winter retreat
This is not the first time we have rented in this complex so we like coming back here and appreciate being able to deal directly with the owner's agent. Wonderful location and unit; we will return for a longer stay next time.

Enjoyed the Stay
We love the condo. Had everything we hoped for as far as the condo. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. Enjoyed the beach and the pool. However, the housekeeping service prior to our arriving needed improving on. Absolutely no wash cloths, all table tops needed to be wiped clean of sticky stuff on them. Drool stains on the pillow covers which we took off and replaced. Outside chairs had to be cleaned prior to sitting on them. It was just the housekeeping, everything else was perfect and we would love to come back. You were wonderful to work with. I would like to come with just my dog for a month do you have any suggestions on condos that rent to pets? I cant find any.

Perfect launching pad for beach fun.
We really loved the location near a great part of the beach and within walking distance of Carpinteria's great shops and restaurants. Like others who have reviewed this location, Carpinteria has been a part of the family for years, and it is still the great place we remember from childhood. We found the condo clean, well-stocked and comfortable - all of our expectations exceeded. One observation - with three girls, the more towels and places to hang them the better! The pool was a hit with our kids, and it was clean and well-maintained. We will definitely consider coming back here again next year!

perfect condo experience!
My family and i stayed in this condo for a week. We have been coming to carp for years and this was the first time staying at solimar sands. The condo was clean, had all the basics, and had a beautiful coastal breeze everyday flowing through! In the description, it mentioned beach towels and sands toys. There was only 1beach towel and no sand toys. Not a big deal, but thought you might want to know. The beds were comfy and very accommodating for my larger family. Thanks again Lou!

We loved our stay. This condo is in excellent condition, updated, and well stocked. Truly, you need only bring your food and clothes. Great location across from the beach and walking distance to the quaint downtown area.
