Nestled in Anchorage, this attractive house for $375 per night is a great option for your next trip. The house is nestled on a quiet, u-shaped road, across from a park with a stunning view of the Chugach range from the dining room table. The house is located 2.5 miles from downtown with a straight shot on the Glenn Hwy. Downtown has the 5th Avenue mall and many quaint, souvenir stores, the museum, Performing Arts Center and many restaurants. Five minutes away is the Northway mall and Tikahtnu center which has a movie theater, Kohl's, Target, Best Buy and several restaurants. The house has 4 bedrooms total and 3.5 bathrooms. Three bedrooms in the house, 1 room with a king bed and other two rooms with queen beds, a dresser, and a TV. The fourth room is a detached guest room with a king bed and a queen bed, microwave, small refrigerator, and a flat screen TV. It is about 10 steps outside, to access a full bathroom inside the house. The outside room is great for the kids to hang out and play in. You can lock the gate to the backyard and not worry. There is another door to enter the house through the carport, so if other adults choose that room they don’t have to come through the 3rd bedroom. There is a carport for one car and the driveway will hold two cars side by side. Street parking as well. The BBQ and patio furniture are at the edge of the carport to enjoy the summer sun. The backyard has lush green grass. There is a pub table and 6 chairs for outside.

The back door didn't lock from the inside so no one wanted to use that back bathroom. We DID use it a little but not as much as we would have if the door could be locked somehow. It also wasn't as close to eating and stores as we expected. But it was a very nice place to use as home and we enjoyed the stay. Owners were very pleasant and super helpful.

This place is perfect for a large family, or groups of friends. Plenty of bathrooms and beds. We loved how at home it felt! Communication was clear and timely. 100% would recommend.

We loved this place!! The host was great at communicating and quick to answer questions. In addition, they shared local things to do. The house was just as pictured and described, was clean, and had plenty of room. There is also a park across the street if you have young children. We would definitely stay again.

The house is nice and clean. Jan was great. The house plans are kinda weird. The 3rd bedroom is in a shed. To get to the shed, you have to go to a bedroom where someone sleeps, go in to one of the bathrooms, and exit the house from the bathroom across some stones in the backyard…. The bedroom that you have to walk through also has 2 bathrooms in it….
But it was nice, and luckily the person we had staying in the shed and in the bedroom were comfortable with one another

The best VRBO experience yet! Jan was very accommodating and helpful with everything! The house actually looked BETTER than the pictures if you asked me! Will definitely be staying here again when we return to Anchorage ❤️

Jan was such an amazing host. We loved the property! The kids played in the "clubhouse" in the backyard. We would return just for this place for them to go and play! Jan provided toys and was so accommodating in helping us come up with things to do in the area. We had a great trip!

Nice House
Our group enjoyed this home. It was nice for each couple to have there on bathroom and space. We are parents on vacation to watch our sons play baseball in Alaska! This home was appreciated during our stay in Anchorage.

Pristine Clean and Very Roomy
We had a wonderful stay at Jan’s house while in Anchorage! Her house is pristine clean and very roomy with four bedrooms, very comfortable beds and 31/2 bathrooms. Our group of seven had more than ample room. Every amenity we needed was there (except laundry soap, so bring your own).Jan was a gracious host and communication was excellent! She helped us when our schedule was delayed and adjusted our dates.
FYI detached guest house doesn’t have its own bathroom but a short walk to the main house has a very lovely master size bathroom accessed from the outside. It was not a problem for our group as the guys stayed in the guest house. I highly recommend Jan’s house if you come to Anchorage and I look forward to staying again.

She responded promptly to all question-texts and provided a very clean and comfortable dining, visiting, and sleeping environment and experience. We appreciated the number of beds and bathrooms. 3 Days in Anchorage
My 2 brothers and I stayed in the house for 3 days with our father as a pit stop before going to Kenai for a fishing charter. The house was perfect for us - very clean- plenty of bathrooms - fully stocked kitchen. We used the grill - nice setup on the porch for that. Jan, the owner, could not have been nicer.
The house is adjacent to a park - very little traffic and quiet.

More than expected
We truly enjoyed our stay at this park view location. The place is quite deceiving at first look. Once inside the space is goes on and on. Everything you need is easily found and the owner was very gracious with any needs and her time. The neighborhood is great for walks with very little traffic in the area. I will definitely share with friends to look forward coming back.

The house is nicely maintained and was clean upon checkin. Basic cookware and dishes were available in the kitchen making it easy to make simple meals and snacks. Helpful information was included about the house, area, and points of interest. And a worry since we were coming during the solstice was that there would be too much light to sleep, but there were great blackout curtains in all the bedrooms.
We had three couples and a solo friend staying together and the four bedrooms worked out great for us. Luckily the solo was close friends with one of the couples since to access her room in the separate building out back required her to walk through their bedroom and the exit was actually through the full bath that lead to the backyard. It was a bit odd of a layout, but it worked for us.
Everyone in the group commented on how nicely setup the house was. The sitting room was ample and the TV and wifi worked great. Nobody mentioned any issues with having enough hot water even though all seven of us showered in the mornings.
Overall a really nice place to stay and convenient to the freeway, shopping, and Costco.
