Situated in Casa De Oro-Mount, this lovely house for $900 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Located just 15-20 minutes from downtown San Diego, local beaches, the San Diego Zoo and just minutes to great shopping, our home is nestled high atop Mt. Helix, on a 2+ acre gated estate. You will have security and unobstructed 225 degree panoramic views from Mexico to the North Coast. This custom, single story home encompasses over 4,300 square feet of comfort with 5 bedrooms, 5 ½ bathrooms, a bonus room/office (can be used as a private 6th bedroom), and views from every room. Truly a unique property with so much to do! Relax in the private courtyard while playing croquet, lounge by the pool, roast s’mores around the outdoor fire pit, or challenge a rival to a game of foosball while watching the sunset. Living Room Features: • Comfortable, large sectional sofa • Gas Fireplace • 65” Flat Screen TV • Ocean views • Floor to ceiling windows, with double doors leading to private courtyard and west facing doors opening to panoramic ocean views. Kitchen / Dining Room Features: • Fully stocked to prepare any meal! We have your basics covered from spices and oils to pots and pans to glassware and dinnerware. Outdoor Features: • Custom pool features a gently sloping beach entry ideal for kids, surrounded by grass, beautiful views and plenty of outdoor seating (additional fee to heat). • Enjoy grilling on the Smoker / grill • Playground w/ swings, tether ball, monkey bars, and a 100 sf playhouse • Outdoor gas firepit overlooking pool with ocean views • Peaceful, gated grass courtyard with outdoor seating & dining table, accented at night by string globe lights • Over 2 fenced acres to explore, roam and play. Our home is tucked away in a quiet residential area, and is not suitable for parties, large gatherings or loud outdoor music. We kindly ask that you do not exceed the maximum guest occupancy, and respect our home and neighbors by adhering to designated quiet times (10:00pm – 8:00am). There is a pool heating fee if you elect to heat pool and vary seasonally. Please contact us for a pool heating quote. Rates are subject to change until your reservation is confirmed and we receive full payment. We have chickens and two small goats that reside on the property. During the day, they free range in a fully fenced coral. At night, the chickens return to their coop and the goats have their own shelter. The chickens will lay 3-5 fresh eggs in the nesting box between the coop and shed. You are welcomed to collect eggs from the nesting box outside the coop. The animals are very social and enjoy interacting but please do not let them out of the coral. Food and water is automated but someone will be coming by to check on animals every 2-3 days. This was a beautiful property set on an amazing mountain with spectacular views. The house was warm and inviting, well stocked with everything we needed, the beds were all comfy andthe hosts were perfect. There was nothing that could have made it a more perfect vacation for our family of 10.

We all loved this beautiful home and want to come again next year! The house is large, updated and very clean! The kids enjoyed seeing the goats and chickens and especially had fun in the lovely pool! The owner was there when we arrived and was super kind to the kids and showed them around, showed them the pool toyed, etc. My family and I highly recommend this VRBO.

We stayed at Seven Palms for 6 nights for a special family gathering and had a wonderful experience. Melinda and John's communications with us and their attention to anything we needed were perfect. Their home was very welcoming and exceptional and kept our 5 grandkids very busy and entertained. The pool, the animals, the vegetable garden, the wonderful music room and fuze ball really made a big difference. We spent a lot of time at the home, but driving into San Diego for a day and also to Legoland was very easy. We ended most days sitting around the fire pit roasting smores. We also hired a local photographer (Chasing Light Photography) to come take pictures, which worked out great. I would not hesitate to recommend this home and give it 5 stars!

The property has one of the most beautiful views you can ask for. The outdoor spaces including the courtyard, fire pits, pool/hot tub give off a serene feeling. The private driveway transports you to what feels like a secluded getaway. The house is amazing, very big and spacious, plenty of rooms and bathrooms for everyone. The stories told throughout the house give you a sense of how special this place it. Big bonus for my group was the basketball hoop in the driveway. I would definitely book again.

Seven Palms was the most beautiful VRBO we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at. Melinda and John, the hosts, were absolutely wonderful and accommodating. We had an early 70th bday gathering of grandparents, children and grandchildren. EVERYONE loved the property. From the goats and chickens and collecting fresh eggs, the garden and orchard full of produce, the fire pit where we made s’mores, the pool that no one wanted to get out of, and the most fabulous view we took advantage of every morning on the patio with coffee and every evening with wine. Huge kitchen, dining inside and out, and all the amenities we could have asked for. Highly recommend. We will be back!

What an incredible property. Our group had six children under 4yrs old and we could not have asked for better accommodations. From the pool to the chickens and goats the property has it all. Our entire group felt at home during our stay and we would absolutely recommend this property for others planning a trip to San Diego or the surrounding area.

We (4 adults, 4 teenagers) truly enjoyed Seven Palms. The house and pool are perfect, the view and sunsets spectacular and San Diego sights, beaches etc are in easy reach from La Mesa. Melinda and John have been wonderful hosts, we enjoyed their openness and generosity as they allowed us to collect eggs from their chickens, vegetables from their garden etc. Our teens loved the soccer- table, playing basketball and taking the goats for a walk ;-). Would love to come back at some point! It ihas definitely been worth the long journey from Germanx

Melinda and John are fabulous hosts who go well beyond the norm to ensure your experience is wonderful. The house is as advertised with everything you need to have a fun filled stay. The view is stunning . The property has so many wonderful spaces to spread out or be together. The pool is lovely and the area even has a small fridge. There is shade too. The bedrooms and baths are great and each has privacy. We all commented how quiet it was. We didn't hear each. Don't hesitate to book this very special house with very special hosts

Had an absolutely wonderful time! Property is outstanding - loved the goats & chickens and the pool is off the charts beautiful. Perfect getaway for family gathering
This was one of the best properties I have ever rented. With so many amenities for all ages ( 1 year old to 71 in our group), there was something for everyone. Pool, hot tub, courtyard lawn, work out equipment, play ground, kids play house, gardens, goats/chickens, sonos sound, spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas. We loved it!
