Situated in Maggie Valley, this lovely cabin for $300 per night is a great choice for your next break. Whether you're looking for a romantic get away or a family fun vacation, Linger Longer Lodge can provide you with a private elegant home base, to relax, yet still be centrally located to all that Western North Carolina has to offer. This custom built log home has been constructed into the mountainside and is surrounded by forest and the fragrant smell of the local flora and fauna, offering you privacy, warmth and the comforts of an upscale home. The huge wrap around decks offer you the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while listening to the nearby babbling creek. There's no better place to leave the stresses of everyday life behind and relax in a gorgeous outdoor setting. The interior of this three story log cabin offers additional privacy. Each floor consists of it's own private sleeping quarters, full bath and bonus/sitting room. Two of the bedrooms are EnSuite. The cabin has been tastefully decorated with your comfort at the forefront of our design ideas. Our aim is to think of everything, you'll need to make our home, yours. The driveway can accommodate three cars. Location, Location, Location! Within five minutes you can be at The Maggie Valley Golf and Country Club. Within fifteen minutes you can be at The Cataloochee Ski Resort, Downtown Waynesville and The Blue Ridge Parkway. Within a half hour, depending on your destination within the city, you're in downtown Asheville. Come to Maggie Valley, where you will find small town main streets, a thriving arts community, eclectic dining and the grandeur of the highest mountains in the east.

Perfect for 3 couples. We didn’t use the 4th bedroom but would be great for kids or a single. It looks better than the photos. Driveway is a bit tricky with 3 cars.

we had 5 couples go to see the leaves cahnge and do some jeeping and sight seeing. the cabin was beautiful and located close enough to everything we wanted to do, like shoping antiqueing and to the GSMNP. we will definatley consider staying hetre again

We had a wonderful stay at this house. Everything was clean and comfortable when we arrived. The whole house is well thought out with extras of things you might need, plenty of storage and hooks, and comfortable beds and seating.
The table is large and the chairs are all comfortable. We cooked all our meals here and were pleasantly surprised at how well the kitchen supplies were stocked.
There is plenty of porch room outside and even with three teenagers everyone had plenty of space. Can’t wait to visit again!

My family and I had a wonderful time at Linger Longer . The beds were very comfortable. Plenty of dishes and pots for cooking. I loved the big bedrooms, closets and bathrooms. Even though it rained our last day, we had fun playing games around the large dining room table. Norma was very quick to respond to any questions. Thanks for letting us use your home.

We were in town for a conference and the Linger Longer Lodge was a wonderful respite during our time in the area. The house has three levels, each well appointed and equipped. The hot tub was a very nice resource we enjoyed every single night of our stay. Norma answered every one of our texts and calls promptly and was very helpful with our questions. The house is private in a very nice neighborhood, just off the beaten path but convenient to everything Maggie Valley, Junaluska, Waynesville, and the surrounding area have to offer. We would highly recommend!

What a great place. The house was just as described. Very comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen and a real home feel. It is centrally located. Making it easy to get to and from our adventures. The train in Bryson City, our day trip to Gatlinburg. Riding the Blue Ridge Parkway. So much to see so much to do. Then returning in the evening for a hot tub and dinner. What a fantastic vacation. We will definitely be back!! Can't thank the owner enough. She is definitely on top of things.

We had a lovely 3 day stay in this home, and could have stayed longer if time allowed. Norma is a kind and communicative host, readily available should you need anything. We didn’t need anything, however, as the home is perfectly appointed and met the needs of our family of four in every way. The kids were able to watch their shows and use their devices on the wifi, go for walks outside and greatly enjoyed the mountain scenery. Everything was clean, comfortable and of good quality while being perfectly situated in town. Read Norma’s thorough directions and informative messages and you will be well prepared for your trip.

The owner was a real problem. There are cameras on the exterior and we believe in the interior. Although we apparently forgot to pay a pet deposit, when the owner contacted us we paid the fee. She then contacted us about using the garbage and we corrected that issue. Then at 10am on the day of checkout she began harassing us to vacate. Since we had to take the garbage 15 minutes away to dump, we were delayed. Her cleaner came at approximately 11Am and we exited the property at around noon. She charged us s $200 late check out fee plus $35 for a broken measuring cup that we brought ourselves from home plus $125!for a broken light which we didn’t break.
The house itself had several issues. The gas fireplace had no remote control or gas key so it was unusable. TV remotes were mis-matched, missing, or had bad batteries. Light bulbs were missing or burned out.
Their garbage policy is impractical. Neighbors had cans out for pickup but we had to take our garbage off siite.
The real problem was we felt afterwards that our every move was under the owners microscope.
We would warn anyone against renting anything from Norma Rea.

Had a splendid Christmas in the Smokey Mountains with the whole family. The house was just as described. More than enough room for the ten of us to relax and enjoy the holiday…. Even got some skiing in at the local ski mtn. Norma was very communicative and had lots of helpful notes/tips that really made the trip go smoothly. I’d give 6 stars if I could * * * * * *.

This is such a lovely home. Comfortable and very clean. The kitchen is well stocked for those who like to cook while vacationing like us. The owner is easy to each and attentive with any needs. The hot tub is a bonus. Coming back with my girlfriends next time!

Highlights from our trip were cooking together in the well stocked kitchen and enjoying coffee on the front porch rocking chairs. The fall leaves were at their peak and the weather was perfect! Nice clean easy to get to but no yard
The outdoor pictures make it seem like there is a yard however there is not a yard big enough for kids and dogs to play. When booking I advised or the original occupancy 7 adults 2 kids and 2 large dogs. Nothing was said about there not being a yard. My daughter and her family was not able to go so there were no kids. The inside of the house would accommodate the original booking but not the outside.
We did have a pleasant stay and the inside was exactly as pictured. Would stay again if no yard was needed.
