Life's A Beach is a fabulous lodge-style view home just one block above beach access with an unobstructed view of Haystack Rock. Amazing 180 degree ocean view to watch glorious sunsets. This home is perfect for one or two families to enjoy the Oregon Coast. Upstairs is a large, well-stocked gourmet kitchen with granite countertops. Perfect for entertaining. If you love to cook you'll love the six burner gas range overlooking the ocean. Kitchen opens to a great room with leather furniture thick oriental rug and stone fireplace. Heated slate floors. Custom alder cabinetry. Downstairs there are four bedrooms, 3 with views. Master bedroom has queen bed, 2nd bedroom has queen bed. 3rd bedroom has bunk beds with twin/double, and fourth bedroom has a queen bed and a futon. House has separate laundry room with washer and dryer.

The host planned for everything as far as having all needed items in the house, e.g., cooking, washing, relaxing. The view of Haystack Rock from the living room was the best! We could see the Puffins nesting on the rock face and the waves crashing around Haystack Rock and the Needles. It is the iconic view of the Oregon Coast whenever you see a movie or documentary of the Oregon Coast. The house comfortably accommodated 6 adults, 2 teenagers and 1 toddler. The house is large enough that we never felt crowded even when we were all in the living room watching the ocean view. PLUS, the garage had an electric vehicle charger that could charge EV cars and Teslas with the adapter provided. Parking was a little tight since we had a big crew cab truck and two sedans. Only one sedan could fit in the garage (EV won that slot), and the truck and other sedan fit in front of the garage and off the street. Also, a car could park on the Eastside of Hemlock where parking is legal as opposed to the Westside of Hemlock. Park parallel to the garage when parking on the Westside of Hemlock and leave enough space for bikes or the police might give you a ticket. Only suggestions for improvements would be a saltshaker that we could not find. We had a large container of salt but could not find a shaker. We also wish the key access instructions included pictures. It took a few minutes to get the lockbox open with just worded instructions. Overall, a wonderful location!

From the moment we entered the home, we were greeted by the full expanse of the iconic haystack rock framed by the setting sun. The windows were crystal clear and after sunset the fireplaces continued the spell. Access to the beach is an effortless glide down the stairs and the tide pools were teaming with colorful tidal aquatic life. Bravo for the design, the flawless upkeep and the sparkling bathrooms and kitchen surfaces. With so many restaurant options within minutes we settled on snacks and coffee caught in the spell of a wonderful stay. Secure, quiet and stunning.
