Nestled in Simpson Bay, this charming condo for $649 per night is a great choice for your next break. *Can be rented with OCEAN EDGE, the next-door 2BR luxury condo #2646136* The first time I went to Anchor House, I was snapped up by the ocean and the sky. This exceptional property enjoys a breathtaking Caribbean Sea view, open outlook, from the sea at your feet extending through every shade of turquoise and true blue to the far horizon. I fell immediately in love with this property. Bathing in the saltwater mirror pool, facing the ocean, was the icing on the cake. I was ready to go in 5mn walk to Maho where many gourmet restaurants offer great menus. I also found luxury boutiques, art galleries, bars and casino, hairdresser, drugstore, supermarket, as well as a fabulous spa, an 18-hole golf course and a choice of nearby beaches. Finally, I stopped to the well known Sunset Grill & Bar to savor a cocktail”. Anchor House is situated in the residential area of Beacon Hill, quiet oasis of luxury and elegance on the shore of the Caribbean Sea. As many press articles describe it the residence designed as an extension of the natural environment is built directly on the rock to become an integral part of the cliff. The clean architectural line of this apartment combines timeless elegance and avant-garde style. Generously open to the outside, the east-west orientation ensures to appreciate natural light with excellent exposure and unforgettable sunsets. This modern apartment, designed, furnished and decorated with artworks by international artists and designers famous offers a living area of 3200 sq Ft, 3 king-sized bedrooms with bathroom “en-suite” and dressing. Each room has an area of 270 sq Ft all with bathroom “en-suite”, the master bedroom offers a drop down ceiling TV, a large dining-living room with open modern kitchen, 3 private underground parking spaces are served by lift. The high ceilings of 10 Ft with built-in light and the flush-to-wall doors add an exquisite touch to the modernism of the concept. The covered terrace accommodates a dining table and a living area of white and grey modern design. The 1300 sq Ft terrace hosts a saltwater mirror pool built on the reef of the Caribbean Sea. If you are lucky you will experience the passage of visiting whales. I hope you will spend a magical moment as I was able to live it. Our family of five adults had a wonderful stay at the oceanfront condo. The location was great and the condo was well appointed, comfortable, modern, and clean. The infinity pool overlooked the ocean and it was nice hearing the waves all day. The island is small enough to visit other beaches and restaurants, on both sides. It was easy to rent a car and navigate the island. We enjoyed spending the late afternoons outside on the patio and in the pool watching the sailboats pass and the beautiful sunsets. We would definitely stay here again!

The view from the patio was stunning and was a great location to see all the planes landing in the nearby airport. You really couldn’t ask for more from the infinity pool to the sound of the crashing waves. It was simply the best view in St. Maarten and we looked forward to returning to the condo after day trips to the beach. I would definitely book this condo again in the future.
Thank you Jonathan for your prompt responses and being so accommodating. It was very kind of you to allow us to check out a couple of hours late (due to our late flight) and thank you again for dropping off the beach umbrella and the beach chairs to use at beaches. One negative impression I have was with Stacey, the concierge. She was not at the house when we arrived and then she was there for barely 2 minutes to drop off the key and left so quickly that I didn’t even get to meet her. We had to figure out everything for ourselves. Some text messages to Stacey were replied the next day and some even went unanswered when asked about needing more supplies.
Overall, the view from the patio will live in your dreams and have you looking for every excuse to return to the Anchor House!

What a gorgeous home and view! Everything was seamless and Stacey was incredibly helpful with suggestions for restaurants and getting our excursions set up. The infinity pool and back deck is fabulous. Pictures don’t do it justice. Highly recommend! We would definitely go back.

This condo was in an excellent location! The home was very secure/safe. The communication was always outstanding from booking through check out. The home is spacious and well appointed. The pool is awesome and hearing the sound of the waves crashing is amazing. Would definitely return and stay here again.

This property was located in an area that made it easy to walk to some places (Sunset beach & Maho area) and easily access other areas by car. The view from the deck was spectacular! The condo was a perfect set up for three couples. Each couple had their own lovely bedroom with an ensuite washroom. For a rental property at this price point, one would expect better quality linens. The other downside to the condo was the lack of comfortable furniture. The owner was very nice and so was Stacey who greeted us upon arrival. Communication prior to our arrival was excellent. Overall, this was a lovely spot to spend our week! Thank you for having us John.

The property was everything and more! From the view to infinity pool to spacious bedrooms. Private chef was exquisite! Stacy and John were readily available for any and all matters. We throughly enjoyed this house!

My wife and I searched for several weeks for the perfect island and perfect oceanfront home to spend a week with our kids. I’m very happy to say we succeeded beyond expectations for both!
The moment we walked into the Anchor House we were in awe of the amazing ocean view! The home is very large with 3 king sized bedrooms and private bathrooms in each, all with huge showers. The Master bedroom has a wonderful ocean view. The other two bedrooms do not. The kitchen, living room and dining area is one large room with a wall of sliding glass doors overlooking the ocean. We spent many hours relaxing on the patio chairs and in the infinity pool listening to the waves crashing on the rocks below. Several breakfasts were also enjoyed on the dining table on the patio.
A couple of minor issues with the safe and light switch arose and were dealt with promptly, however, text messages with questions were either not returned or took a couple days to get a response. All in all, the booking process, communication and information provided regarding check-in and check-out was adequate.
There is so much to do on the island and very easy to explore the entire island in a week. Traffic can slow things down a bit in certain areas but not a major issue. So many beautiful beaches with great variety include: Mullet Bay, Cupecoy Beach, Great Bay and Orient Bay. You will definitely feel like you are in paradise!
You will not be disappointed with your decision to visit Sint Maarten and rent the Anchor House!

This place was beautiful! Upon arrival Jovan gave us a tour of how everything worked and showed us around. John was so great at replying promptly and was very nice in messages. It is in a great location literally 5 mins from the airport. I know there’s a lot of strict rules but it does not hinder you from having a good time. We played music and had no complaints the whole trip it just wasn’t at the loudest level. I am only giving 4 stars because the owner of the property is very rude and made us 4 girls very uncomfortable. Once we were leaving, the service went completely out and our driver couldn’t get in contact with us. He came to the unit and didn’t even introduce himself and knew our driver was knocking and did not let him in to come help us get our stuff. The house was in fine condition and I was so keen about keeping stuff nice because the reviews say he’s rude already. He was pestering us about a bamboo sheet that had a stain on it. He was literally pestering 4 girls and the cleaning staff looked terrified of him. The cleaning crew was so scared they apologized to us about even letting him know they saw it. He should stop interacting with the guests that stay there. Other then that everything was great! Beautiful views and service. Don’t hesitate to book this place! Thank you John for everything.

We were 3 couples staying on the beautiful island and the condo could not have been more perfect for us. We liked having the private bath for each room and the common areas were more than adequate for us to spread out. We spent much of our time outside on the patio enjoying the beautiful view. We walked to Maho beach several times and liked that it was so close.

This house was everything!! The views are unbeatable and the location is fantastic. I traveled there for my 30th birthday with my boyfriend and 2 other couples and there was plenty of space. We had an amazing time.
Stacey the property manager was very responsive and was able to assist with everything. Only a few things to be aware of, they are very strict about the rules. No loud music (which can be subjective) and no visitors. I also wanted to bring in a decorator to do balloons and I was told no. They also helped me plan couples massages at the house, but if you take this option be sure they are couples massages because the masseuse arrived and 5 of us had to get massages at once, slightly awkward. Lol
We also had some issues getting the proper amount of wash cloths needed, and although we were told they were going to bring them, they never arrived.
All in all, we still had an amazing time. And this view is everything!

The property is even better in person! The view is breathtaking! I enjoyed my stay at the house and everything was clean. The rooms were huge, the pictures don't do it justice. The only thing that was horrible was the wifi; phone service wasn't the best either, but it didn't put a damper on the trip whatsoever. The host and staff were great, especially Stacey!

Beacon Hill is everyone it says and more. From its location close to the airport, restaurants, shops and casino to its amazing view of the Caribbean, you couldn't ask for more. Everything about this place is wonderful. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious and elegantly outfitted. The kitchen was more than supplied with everything you need to cook your own meals. We did all our breakfasts at the condo and some lunches. I highly recommend going to the Super U on the French side for groceries. Stefan, the owner introduced himself and was a very pleasant gentleman and let us know if we needed anything, that nothing was a bother. We played music around the pool at a reasonable level and was a non issue. I can’t recommend this place enough and I highly recommend this property and hope we can visit again in the future.

This is an amazing property, beautiful modern finishes, fully functioning kitchen, excellent outdoor living space. Property management and cleaning staff are excellent and very accommodating. Highly encourage arranging a chef for an evening meal, it was spectacular. This place is well worth the money. We will be back!

This is our 10+ time renting a villa/ house and it was one of best ever. My wife and I and 4 kids (19,21,21 and 24) thoroughly enjoyed. The location was great for getting around. You can walk to Maho (supermarket, bars, restaurants, casino) and even to Mullet Bay but going any further (especially if you are going to French side or Phillipsburg) a car is needed. The island is easy to navigate. The villa was clean and comfortable and had enough basics for what we needed. There is a strict noise policy that is adhered to but it didn’t bother us. John was responsive as was Stacey (first lady). The owner Stefan was very nice. House was very safe and secure! Sitting on the deck for coffee and sunrise or cocktails and sunset is very very relaxing. We would highly recommend.
