Walk to the Comal river (ten-minute walk). Charming interior. Relax on the two porch swings and watch the world go by. Walk to two bakeries, 3 coffee houses. Central air. Large eat-in kitchen, fully equipped. Great view of deer at play and while eating our vegetation. Off-street parking. High-speed Wi-fi. Cable TV. Two full baths. Clawfoot tub. Dining room. Walk to spas and nail salons. Walk to Wurstfest (15 minutes). Walk to antique stores in town. Built in 1910. High ceilings. Close to the San Antonio Street bridge over the Comal River on the town side of the river. Hardwood floors, hardwood ceilings. We call it Bonaparte Place as it is on Napoleon Street. See our two other houses at 1335934 (sleeps 6) and 1567722 (sleeps 12).

The house was great. The owners were very friendly and attentive. Very close to a lot of good restaurants and very quiet area. Lots of deer everyday wandering in the area. Would stay here again!

Nicely kept older house in the downtown New Braunfels area. My family and I stayed in town for Wurstfest, and found this property a short walk away from the festival. Very comfortable house that felt like a second home for the weekend. Would highly recommend.

The house is wonderfully decorated with era charm. The porch swings were a dealing to sit in and watch the deer. Quiet neighborhood and close to shopping and site seeing. The owners are a lovely couple. Highly recommend this house!

The house i had initially reserved and even the day before was assured we would be staying in, was not the one we ended up staying in. There was an air conditioning problem, so we were directed to another property. It was still in town and was nice, but only had 2 bedrooms, instead of the 3 we needed. One of my sons had to sleep on the couch because he didn't want to bother his brother and s/o. Other than that it was nice and had everything we needed. Nice area to walk around, and we met several others who were walking. It was a nice stay.

My husband and I and our son took a weekend to just get some much needed rest. The home, which is a 1918 home, was cleaner than many of the newer homes we have stayed in. It was such a nice weekend. Reminded me so much of my time at my grandparents home when I was little. We walked down town for dinner and the neighborhood and neighbors were very quiet.

We booked this place last minute as our original plans fell through and we were so happy we did. We are a family of 4 with teenagers and fur babies and this place was perfect! The manager was so helpful and very quick in communication. The bungalow is perfectly set up for a family with the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Its a gorgeous old bungalow that has been perfectly maintained and is immaculately clean. There are tubes to use for the Comal nearby and it’s walking distance to great local eateries and tubing.

I spent a much needed time off in this charming property. The hosts were easy to deal with and the house was comfortable for my lengthy stay. Close to the Comal but not a traffic problem. It was quiet. Location was perfect for dining and shopping.

This adorable house was just what we needed! It was close to local stores/food and near the river. My daughter (and who am I kidding, me too) loved watching families of deer come into the backyard. Everything was very clean, organized, and easy to find. I would definitely stay here again!

Location, Location, Location! We enjoyed staying at the Bonaparte Place. This home was absolutely amazing! We were so happy with our choice. The house was exceptionally clean and extremely well stocked!!! Included were so many of the little amenities we all need at home that we all take for granted until we don't have them. The deck was lovely and we even saw MANY MANY deer including a newly born fawn. What a warm, welcoming, well-equipped, wonderful place! From the ease of booking, the detailed shopping, restaurants, and attraction booklets, charming yard, great walkability to the river, and overall good vibes, we could not have asked for more. Thank you for the joy and delight of staying at such a lovely spot. Exceptional in every way! We will definitely be recommending this charming home to our family & friends. From the minute we entered the house we fell in love and cannot wait to return!

Stayed at the property with my family of four (including two kids and a dog) plus my in-laws. Owners were very accessible before the stay and at check-in. The house was convenient to the river and downtown (both walkable, but did drive to both as well because of the heat and carrying tubes). Pictures are accurate. For those bringing pets, backyard is not fenced. Not an issue for us and was nice to see the deer in both the front and back yards. Overall great stay and would stay at the property again.

The house is just lovely. Vintage is what I love. Well stocked and the A/C worked great. 2 bedrooms were joined with one bathroom and the back bedroom was off the hall of the second bathroom. It worked out fantastic with our group. We sat on the porch swings every morning with our coffee and watched the deer. You can walk too many things. Schlitterbahn is very close ( one could walk). Muck and Fuss is a very short walk and a great restaurant. Citron is a short walk and we loved their coffee and crepes. We had a fun trip. My only suggestion is that it is time for new mattresses. We would stay here again once mattresses are upgraded.

Even though it was a cold and rainy weekend, we enjoyed the home tremendously. The home was closed to Gruene and downtown New Braunfels. However, just sitting outside on the porch and enjoying the scenery was the best. Our children really enjoyed watching the deer's walking around.

Charming older home close to New Braunfels downtown. Restaurants, shopping and tubing spot are all within walking distance. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Deer were definitely all over the neighborhood and fun to watch!

My family chose to meet in New Braunfels for our family Christmas again this year and we were so pleased with Bonaparte place! My brother was a bit concerned that the freezing weather might be too much for the older home, but the heating unit worked beautifully. Beds were comfy, bathrooms stocked with amenities and plenty pots and pans for cooking in the kitchen. It was obvious that the owners have thought of everything and they have kept this home in tip top shape.

Super clean. Great spaces to gather everyone in the group as well as plenty of spaces to separate for smaller groups to visit simultaneously without interruption. Plenty of kitchen equipment. Simple house rules. Simple check in and out. Nice being able to walk to and from the river and provided tubes save so much time, effort, and money. This is our middle aged, three couples group, third annual stay in this house. We love it and highly recommend it.

This was my second stay with Leslie, and will definitely be back. The house is cozy and has everything you need. Close enough to to walk to and from the river. You will see deer just walking through the neighborhood. The swings on the front porch are great for sitting outside for catching up with family and friends.
