Located in San Pedro, this lovely condo for $217 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. COME AND VISIT BELIZE! WE ARE READY FOR YOU! GOLD STANDARD! Our second level oceanfront condo at Oasis Del Caribe in the Boca Del Rio area of San Pedro is a true Caribbean paradise. You can sit out on the veranda with an ice cold Belikin, relax and watch the sail boats go by or count the waves crashing on the reef, just a quarter mile off shore. The condo is located in a quiet neighborhood comprised of an eclectic mix of locals, visitors and small businesses. Dive and fish shops dot the beach, with fun restaurants and great bakeries just a few steps away. Shops near by to stock your fridge! San Pedro town is a lazy 10 minute stroll along the beach. Art galleries, fun beachfront pubs, restaurants and handmade crafts all along the way. Our condo features 2 bedrooms, one king size and one queen, each with it's own bathroom. Full size eat-in kitchen with all appliances. Living room has great views of the reef. Our condo is tastefully decorated with all the comforts of home, including flat screen tv, cable, wi-fi, ceiling fans and full A/C. Housekeeping is available at additional cost. You can request housekeeping any time during your stay. The Oasis complex has a beautiful pool and patio area with lounge chairs perfect for relaxing and reading a good book. If you plan to do some diving, snorkeling or any other excursions, the operators will pick you up at our dock. Come and enjoy your next Caribbean vacation at Oasis! Wayo's is right there which is a plus for me as it is my favorite hang out. Less than a quarter mile down the beach is Chuck and Robbies dive shop and plenty of great breakfast places close by. The swimming pool was absolutely spotless. Great stay!

The location, the amenities, the comfortable beds, everything was great! Walking distance to many restaurants, bars and local shops and bakeries for groceries and small stuff. The condo was equipped for everything we needed to prepare a meal or snacks at home! The balcony with the view of the ocean was perfect for sipping coffee or cocktails! We would definitely recommend staying here and we can't wait to go back

The pictures of the property are accurate. Nice kitchen with what you need to make meals. Restaurants within walking distance on a quieter part of the island. Communication and check-in with the owner & property manager timely. Great golf cart rental found for us!
Maintenance issues with the plumbing -sewer system- in the bathroom nearest the master bedroom made it unusable for half our stay. After using only twice, the maintenance needed was apparent. We stayed around one morning so that the plumbing could be cleared. Read in one review a similar issue and wish I would have heeded the warning. Didn’t feel as if we got our money’s worth with what paid for for this reason. Stay other than that was adequate.
Highly recommend Mexican rocks if snorkeling in addition to hol Chan.
Laundry was incredibly nice to have, connection to activities was great.

Great place.... Location, convenience, clean, furnished with everything needed for a month vacation, pool, nightly security, and even comes with hammock for swaying in the breeze on the 2nd story wrap around patio. Friendly neighbors, view of pool and ocean from patio or go rooftop for star viewing or to watch sunrise and/or sunset, walking distance to everything needed. These are all good reasons for me to make a third visit in the future.

Great place.... Location, convenience, clean, furnished with everything needed for a month vacation, pool, nightly security, and even comes with hammock for swaying in the breeze on the 2nd story wrap around patio. These are all good reasons for me to make a third visit in the future.

My husband and 16 yr old son stayed 11 nights in this condo, it was perfection! Best-stocked kitchen (not that we cooked!) and best bed linens and mattresses/pillows we have had in any rental - son even said it was the best bed he'd slept in! (Q BR). All of the furnishings were clean and comfortable. Having a washer/dryer was priceless! Great hot water and really good water pressure. Very thoughtfully equipped with anything and everything you could possibly need.
The location is ideal - walk to dozens of bars and restaurants, close to the bridge, convenient to bodegas for supplies.
The grounds were immaculately kept daily, including the pool. We don't like staying ground-level - more breeze and security/privacy upstairs - and they had security guards at night, too! 15 units total, seems like mostly short and long-term renters. 3 buildings, each with access up the stairs to the roofs. Parking lot on the street, and ample parking on Boca Del Rio.
Of note: what we would consider the "main" bedroom - facing ocean and with the King bed - does not have an en suite bathroom, you do have to go to the hall bath. Nauti Crab is directly next door which is fine most nights except Friday - KAREOKE. Plan to be elsewhere until about midnight, it's rough. Or drink on your balcony and critique the carnage without having to be in the middle, heh!
We'd absolutely rent this home again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it! We visit San Pedro every year, and it's been our favorite so far!

Although we had a couple of hiccups property manager resolved very quickly. Sun - thurs is relatively quite but with the bar next door being able to open until midnight it was loud.

Only a few minute walk to the center of town. Walking or bikes are all you need. Golf cart rental for one day to explore the not so secret, Secret Beach. Pool was refreshing. Condo has everything you need. Definitely a return location for us!

We loved our time here. There was plenty of room, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and it was very clean. The vista from the balcony is mesmerizing and I didn’t want to come home.

Great location, view, pool, atmosphere, owner, manager, cleaning service.... All good !
I stayed in the condo from November 10- December 8, 2018. It was just as described. All the amenities that are needed for a long vacation. The convenience of the location allowed for ease in walking to anything needed. No golf cart needed for transportation with the exception on a day trip to Secret Beach. Accommodations for the cart can be made at the local grocery store operator (Mark) for $50 + $10 in taxes/day. Chuck and Robbie’s was the dive operators used located a 10 minute walk along the beach road from the condo. Super Buys was the large grocery store to do the extensive shopping. This was about ½ mile walk so a bag on wheels or a cart for the long listed items. Grocery store around the corner (MUST CHECK EXPIRATION DATES) for the minor items. Other convenient grocery stores at round a-bout good for just about everything. DO NOT forget to use the hammock while people watching on the wrap around patio! Plenty of board games for use also. If you take the steps to the top of the building, there is a viewing deck that is great for star watching also. Tuesday morning (7ish) on the lagoon side has the Mennonite Farmer Market worth visiting. This is a great site for watching the sun set also.
Restaurants enjoyed in walking distance of condo while in San Pedro: Hungry Grouper, Mesa, Estel’s Dine by the Sea (Sunday’s bar-b-que at noon especially), Caramaba! Restaurant (pick your own fish and how to have it prepared), Sandy Toes, Palapa Bar and Grill (hamburgers were especially good), Sandbar (excellent pizza and calzone), Boogies Belly (for the meat pies before 11 am).. and many others rated on Trip Advisor.

What a great place to spend a month! Not only was the location stocked with everything you would need for a home away from home, but it was centrally located so that we could pick up our fresh veggies, fruit, baked goods and grocery items by walking. We didn't need a golf cart to get around. Also within walking distance are lots of eateries. The pool was magnificent and we used it daily. I'd come back here in a heart beat. A special thanks to Juan, who oversaw the condos and was always pleasant and helpful. Thank you all so very much.

STAY HERE - This Place is GREAT
This condo is great! First, it's located close to town but just out of town making it easy to walk to town and still be a little outside of the central part of where the action is located. The condo is clean and spacious! The beds are super comfortable, well at least I can confirm the king bed is comfortable and my 13 year old son said the queen bed was comfortable. There is a store right at the back of the condo across the street, it easy and convenient.
Be sure to talk to Christina for anything you need, tour reservations, dinner, everything! She will help you, I wish I would have used her knowledge more on our trip.
I don't have any complaints about this condo, me, my husband and my 13 year old son enjoyed staying here and were totally comfortable. My son LOVED the pool.

Relaxing Trip in Paradise
We have stayed at this condo a few times. Great view of beach & pool off balcony. All furnishings are up to expectations. Comfortable beds and sufficiently stocked kitchen. Check in process was smooth but a/c could have been adjusted before our arrival. Internet WiFi also needs updated with today’s traveler’s needs. Having to reboot system several times within a few hours to have WiFi access was annoying. Issue didn’t exist elsewhere on island. Oasis de Caribe is a Great location to explore the island. We would most definitely stay again. Thnx for the Memories!

My family of 6 stayed here and we were not disappointed! The condo was perfect for our little/big family. Boys stayed on the pull out couch but it worked out well. Great location on the beach and next to a grocery store. Condo had all we needed! Only grip we had was...we should have stayed longer! Thanks so much!!

Great Location and Easy Check In/out
This was the perfect stay for us! Super easy and convenient to everything! Walking distance to town and all of the beach front amenities. The view is outstanding and the pool is nice when you don't want the salt water! Everything is very well kept! Highly recommend!

Other than the amazing view from the balcony, this condo has some serious flaws.
First off, the condo was not clean. This was taken care of quickly and it was re-cleaned. There is no comfortable furniture to sit on in this condo and it does not have a table you can eat on. It does have 3 bar stools--so if you have four in your party, you're out of luck. Not having a table made playing cards difficult. The kitchen lacked a dishwasher, and a trash can, which the top didn't work, was sitting in the space where the dishwasher should have been. The beds were comfortable, which was a plus. The extra bedroom lacked space to put our clothes up, as the drawers that were there, were filled with stuff. Same thing in the extra bathroom, the space under the sink was crammed full of stuff--so there was no place to put our toiletries. The HGTV claim needs to specify how many years ago this remodel took place because nothing has been updated or cleaned out since.

Great Location
I love that the condo is in close proximity to San Pedro. The condo was in good condition with plenty of cooking utensils, pots and pans. It is close to a grocery mart, but I would recommend going to the larger grocery stores in the center of town. Although Christine, the manager was nice and available by email, when she greeted us it was as if she was in a rush. I had to ask all of the questions. It would be nice to provide a longer welcome. For example, we didn't know anything about bike rentals, golf cart rentals, restaurants, etc. It would have been nice to have a warmer welcome. Everyone in my party of 9 felt the same way. If you don't have time, maybe a welcome packet with tips. It was our first time on the island and after the warm-hearted reception we received from a stay in San Ignacio, this was a quite a change. Otherwise the condo was nice. I would recommend beach chairs that are foldable instead of having to drag them across to the beach area. The tide was high, so don't expect a beach directly across from condo. You have to walk towards San Pedro for more beach like features. Beaches in Ambergris were disappointing.

This condo was perfect, wouldn't change a thing and would book again in a heartbeat! It's quiet, away from the street and nightlife noise, but close enough you can walk right to it. Well stocked with comfy beds, great pillows, beach towels, blankets and just about all the comforts of home. Cleaner for just US$25 (which makes up for the lack of dishwasher). Delicious swimming pool. Wonderful people in the area. What's not to love?
We rented a golf cart one day at the corner store. When the shop owners learned where we were staying, they gave us a good deal, took our names (but no credit card) and told us to pay when we turned it in -- whenever that was going to be.
As for the community in which the condo is located -- we visited just a few days after the August 2016 hurricane, and it was amazing to see how quickly the community had pulled together, cleaned up and rebuilt. It was inspiring.
The only downside for Ambergris itself is that it's a bit expensive -- but that's understandable considering just about everything has to be boated in.
