Nestled in Butler Beach, this lovely house for $532 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Experience the most beautiful “Ocean Sunrises” anywhere in Florida. This amazing 3 bedroom, 3 bath ocean front home becomes your very own beach retreat. Take a stroll along one of the best beaches on the East Coast, enjoy spectacular views while dining or just relaxing and listening to the ocean from the many spacious decks within the property. The open Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen floor plan with high ceilings allows this ocean retreat to live big. All bedrooms have extremely comfortable beds. The luxurious Master Bedroom suite is located upstairs and has a king size bed, sofa and a 45" TV. The on-suite has a spa tub and steam shower and amazing ocean views with its own private deck. The second bedroom has two twin beds with a kit to easily convert them to a king size bed, and the third bedroom has a queen bed. The second and third bathroom are located downstairs easily accessible from the bedrooms and primary living spaces. One of the two sofas in the living room is a very comfortable queen sofa bed. You can easily sleep up to 8 people. This well maintained home is fully equipped, very comfortable and very well decorated. You will love viewing all the unique artifacts collected from all over the world by this maritime owner. A large, fully equipped kitchen allows you to easily prepare meals at home when you choose. Enjoy the 60“ flat screen HD satellite TV, DVD Player and free wi-fi. We’ve provided lots of little extras to make your vacation memorable and the most fun and we are pet friendly so your best friend can join you on vacation. There are boogie boards, beach chairs available for your enjoyment. You are only 10 miles from Marineland and 12 minutes from historic downtown St. Augustine. This will be your best vacation ever! I am very hands-on owner. Owner and his dog Bindi live on the property.

The property is unique in many ways as others reviewed. The art work is awesome. The layout and view of the ocean from 2 story windows is the center piece of the house with 2 patios along with the private walk way over the dunes to the beach. Expect stairs, thats the main thing walking up to the house, if course second floor master suite, and down to the beach. Kitchen has everything you need, plenty of space, ability to wash clothes, and grill out all you want. Also a fresh seafood market less than 3 minutes down the road. Truly loved being able to stay here! Hope to again one day!

What our family loved most of all was that there are no high rise resorts or condos near by! The beach felt like our very own private slice of heaven!
The house was exactly as pictured and is very clean (noting - I am a clean freak)! The host/owners were so accommodating and communicated with us via text/email (and even left us their phone numbers) which was nice when we had questions.
The yard between the garage and the house was beautifully filled with so many gorgeous plants that we felt like we were in a sanctuary for all the local wild life. We saw turtles, frogs, baby birds, bunny rabbits, possums, lizards (of course) and so many butterflies. On the beach there is a turtle egg nest being protected that was pretty awesome too!

The owners are very easy to work with. There was a good amount of parking. The warning about the steps is something to consider with smaller children. There are a lot of steps to get into the house and down the boardwalk, but it was really nice that we had our own private entry way to the beach and there were two stations to wash off your feet and dogs. Fair warning to bring something to protect your dogs feet because the boardwalk can get pretty hot. The cleaning crew isn’t the best. We found a fry next to the couch and a couple of roaches, but overall the place was really nice. Beautiful deck and scenery and in a very quiet neighborhood. The section of the beach wasn’t too crowded either which was great. I also loved that we all had our own bathroom. The upstairs bed/bath combo is gorgeous and very spacious. I would recommend this place to larger families.

This was our quick yearly staycation getaway before school started. This house is definitely our favorite. The views from all the windows and balconies were completely breathtaking. The beach was never overly crowded and it was so convenient to have your own walkway to and from the beach. PP were accurate when saying, this house is fully equipped with all you could possibly need. It was very clean, incredibly interesting with all the unique decor and I met the host personally who was very nice. Our 5 year old pug loved the house as well. Beds were super comfortable as well. My kids enjoyed having their own bedrooms. We take yearly trips to the St. Augustine area and would love to stay in this beautiful home again.

Wow! There are not enough great things to say about this property. We traveled as a family with our beloved pup. The house is like a museum, look in every corner, on every wall and there’s a new artifact, painting, or beautiful object. This property is steps from the beach and there are two decks (one off master bedroom and the main deck) that you can enjoy. You don’t have to bring a thing - the entire house is fully furnished and the kitchen stocked with all the things you may need! The beach was splendid!! We can’t wait to come again!!

Everything about our stay was Phenomenal. Met the owner of the home Gary he was very friendly and helpful and spoke with Vanessa she was very friendly and helpful. Everything we needed was all in one place. The beach was very clean. Hope to get to visit again soon.

We had a great time in St Augustine. Perfect house for direct beach access and bringing your dog. Beach was great and not overcrowded. Gary was very helpful during the entire process. Would definitely come back. 5 stars!! My only complaint was I had to leave and go back to work.

We had a wonderful vacation at Gary's house. Plenty of room for us, our 3 pre-teen grandchildren and our dog. There are about 20 steps leading from the driveway to the house, but it is worth the climb. Views of the ocean are fantastic! Beds were very comfortable. White sandy beach. Very private. Not crowded at all. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Gary!

Finding nice pet friendly homes is always a challenge. I think we hit a home run with this one. Located on Butler beach south of St. Augustine. The owner's travels are showcased in this home and gardens. However the real star is the beach. It has soft white sand, few shells and even fewer people. The rooms are large and the beds comfy. The upper blinds in the main room would not go up and a few hiccups in the kitchen but overall an excellent choice. Highly recommend.

The house is very unique and interesting. The beach was beautiful and the sand powdery and clean. The house has very interesting art. Unfortunately the air conditioner went out on the day we checked in and the part didn't come in until Tuesday. The owner was available and kept us up to date on the detail. Overall, our stay was great and our host was understanding and accommodating. Great place to stay.

What a great place to stay! House was beautifully decorated and loaded with everything needed to make you feel like you’re at home. Location was perfect! Close enough to restaurants and shopping to make it easy to go out, but separated from the multi-unit properties making it feel like we had our own private beach. Gary was great to work with, easy to communicate with, and very accommodating. My wife and I stayed with our two adult sons and one of their wives, and we all had our own private space, but there was more than enough common space for us to visit and eat together. We will definitely be back! Thanks for everything Gary!

My husband, dog, and I had the best time here! We spent a week listening to the ocean, walking on the beach, and fully relaxing. We aren’t into crowds and the party beach vibe so this was a perfect place to enjoy our first true vacation in years. Gary was responsive and the place had everything we needed. The grocery store is just up the street to stock up, plenty of delivery options, and Kookaburra coffee nearby became a morning favorite. We will definitely be back and maybe invite a friend or two since the place was big enough with two more bedrooms and bathrooms. Very memorable week for us.

Our famy thoroughly enjoyed Gary's home. Beautiful artwork and musical instruments. Loved the gong! No yelling it's dinner time. Beach access was ideal and other activities such as kayaking we're super fun and easy. Home was very clean, well appointed, and Vanessa was very helpful with check-in and check-out. Hope to go back soon.
