4 night stay

Clean, tidy and everything you would need for a trip away from home. Comfortable beds, great WIFI connection and lovely hot shower. It was in a great location for us traveling between Girvan and Ayr

Nice apartment, comfy beds and nice clean bedding, good shower. Close to town center amenities.

Not a place for a holiday but adequate for a one off

No breakfast is offered at this location, though there is a supermarket and takeaways in town. The flat was serviceable but basic. The beds were comfortable and the facilities were adequate for our needs. Very much a no frills accommodation. The caretaker was helpful but not easy to get hold of. It was clean and there fresh towels and teatowels and cutlery but little by way of imagination to aid comfort on arrival eg, no sugar or coffee - just teabags. Adequate heating and bedding

This is not a suitable destination as holiday accommodation as it is pretty basic. Maybole town itself is not so much tired as exhausted and the view from the flat is of a boarded up house. There are no toiletries, no phone signal and the TV signal is erratic. The wifi works however. It was OK for a short stop over but we took care to always keep the door locked when we were inside and to ensure the blinds were closed or to remove valuables when going out. The shower screen was of a fixed type making it difficult to use the shower hose without climbing into the bath (not easy for those with restricted movement). Overall it did not feel like a comfortable place to relax as there were groups of youths hanging around both outside on the street and where the vehicle was parked.
