North Central is perfect for a long stay . The basic things you need are there. Washer, dryer, dishwasher, a bedroom and parking. This property is not fancy.
The location is close enough to Colorado Blvd to walk. It’s Very close to the Rose Bowl.
The kitchen is well appointed. Everything works.
The bathroom has great hot water, a bathtub and storage.
In the bedroom there is a closet and a dresser.
A good value for Pasadena. We we bring our own linens, but they were available.

the management company was super responsive and helpful. The apartment was well stocked with everything I needed including paper products. They installed a second AC unit which made it easy to keep the apartment at a nice temperature. Assigned off street parking and in-unit washer dryer were huge pluses.

My husband and I could not have asked for more. Kathleen was INCREDIBLY accommodating, personable, welcoming, and just wonderful to us. We stayed in this perfect little home for over a week, and felt as "at home" as we could have felt in a city far from home, carting along our newborn baby. The manual is very useful, and the welcome basket was just perfect! Brand new, awesome washer/dryer came in very handy with a newborn! I have severe dust mite allergies and had no problems at all in this bungalow--it appeared to be professionally cleaned. NOTE: The bed mattress is SUPER soft. Finally, good location! The immediate vicinity is not A , but a short walk across the highway is the adorable little old town. I ran several miles frequently during our stay without any issues. We also walked to Ralph's, Target, the movies, and Trader Joe's.

This was HOME for us since we were there for 2 months. It was perfect for 2 of us. Pasadena is beautiful. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was beautiful and nice, and the everything is clean. They were very accommodating. My only critique is that it can get pretty hot. They had a fan that didn't work and the AC isn't always the best. Wifi was great and the washer/dryer are amazing! We would stay here again!

We loved this little bungalow! It was perfect and spotless when we arrived. I have a 2 and 3yr old and the front gated courtyard was perfect for them to play. The house was fully stocked and I loved that they had a vacuum as well. Everything was great. The only thing was the bedroom does not have a t.v.
We were gone most days till late in the evening, so not a big deal for us. We also had to extend by a night and it was not a problem. I liked that we were checked on when we arrived and again the next day to make sure we were satisfied with everything! Great place. We will be back...

We enjoyed our stay at the Deodora. It was exactly what we needed for our little family. It was clean,well manicured,and in good repair. The back 'yard' was very small, however the grill served its purpose. The futon was very comfortable. The kitchen was modern and had everything we needed. The only thing it lacked were plastic cups for our little kids. The company even called me to check in and make sure that I did not need anything.

It is conveniently located and includes parking, and is much more comfortable than a hotel.

This little place was beyond what I expected. Everything that you could think of that you may need was available. Everything was very clean and easily accessible. If I ever come back to California, this will definitely be my go to place. for a few side comments though, I do recommend maybe an extra roll of toilet paper. The directions as to where the patio light weren't all that clear to me or my family. Also, maybe keep the laundry detergent inside under the sink... the bottle looked a little dirty when kept outside. however, those few things are very small details and aren't crucial. Nor did they take away from the stay in this wonderful home.

My daughter and I arrived at The Deodora after a 13 hour flight. We were pleasantly surprised to find a comfortable home, albeit small, simply furnished and a little quaint.The entry code sent to us 3 days prior was duly amended, at our request, due to our safety concerns. Perhaps an alternative method of sending the code, without the FULL address of the unit in the same e-mail could be done for future clients. Kathleen, very kindly, contacted my mother-in-law's cell phone, while we were in the car en-route to the unit with the new code. We appreciated this.At the start of our 3 week stay, we encountered problems with the clothes washer and the response was very quick. When it was determined that the washer's control panel was not working properly, a brand new replacement was made within 48 hours. I could not find fault with this! Delighted I had a brand new washer for my 3-week stay!We had drainage problems in the kitchen sink and dishwasher towards the end of our stay. This was taken care of within the day! Super impressed that Kathleen had the resources to call upon at her finger-tips (it was after 5:00pm that day too).Possible improvements: cleaner windows, AC in living room (AC was only in the bedroom and window type unit so very noisy), cleaner patio areas, hand held shower head, more towel racks in the bathroom.

You will not be disappointed with this rental! I rent with VRBO all over the Country, several times a year and this bungalow is Top Notch. It is nicely renovated, very clean and equipped with everything you will need. It is also in a quiet & safe neighborhood. A very nice touch was the welcome basket filled with goodies and a bottle of wine. The futon in the living room is as comfortable as a bed, which is rare for futons.
I visited Pasadena for my Mentee's graduation from Caltech. The bungalow is only 2.4 miles from campus, making the commute easy.
Kathleen was wonderful! Often times, with rentals, you can not get ahold of the owner/manager so it was very nice that Kathleen always answered the phone.

We definitely enjoyed our stay at The Deodora. The bungalow is small, but very well-equipped with anything you might need. We cooked meals there every day and enjoyed using the dishwasher. The rental company is excellent and when we had a problem with the lock on the back gate they sent someone out immediately. Our only reservation about the bungalow was the location. It's in an up and coming area, but not the best neighborhood we've stayed in. That said, we felt safe enough and extended our visit by two days. All in all staying at The Deodora was a very positive experience.

I visit Pasadena often and have stayed in various hotels around town, but never feel they deliver service to match the charges involved. So I was more than satisfied to have had use of this lovely two-room semi-detached bungalow in a small complex in a quiet quarter just a few blocks away from the many attractions of Old Town. The property was clean and the kitchen well-equipped for the kind of modest food preparation (breakfast and snacks) we do on short trips. Although there are lively families in the neighborhood, everyone seems to respect an undeclared bedtime curfew, which was a blessing for us, as we were exhausted from busy days out. I would recommend this property, highly, and will want to return to it the next time I head out that way.

My husband and I spent a week in the bungalow. When we arrived we were very pleased to see that the pictures of the space and furniture were completely accurate. The bungalow was very well equipped, and everything was in good condition. The welcome basket was a nice touch. We did not have any problems, but did have a few questions. Kathleen answered all questions very promptly. The location is very convenient. We walked to downtown Pasadena a couple of times, about a half hour walk, and seemed to be about 10-15 minutes by car from most places we wanted to go. We really enjoyed the Deodora. It was in a very convenient location for us and the neighborhood was quiet. The unit was clean and had everything we needed for a ten day stay. It is close to shopping, dining, and the freeways. We had an issue with the washing machine door lock and it was rectified immediately. We will certainly stay here in the future.
