About this house rental
Located in Topsail Beach, this charming house for $565 per night is a great option for your next trip. We have some great weeks left this spring and a few for the summer of 2024, so come and enjoy our beautiful ocean-front home. It is waiting for you and your family to enjoy. Our home has the space and location for a great vacation. Our beach house is located in beautiful Topsail Beach, N.C. From the moment you walk in you'll be wowed by the large windows overlooking the beach and ocean. The large living spaces give you plenty of room to relax and spend time with the ones you care about. Whether you are looking to cook a great meal, relax in the living room with a good book, or sit at the dining room table playing games with friends and family, you can do it all while soaking in the great views of the ocean and beach. The property features a large deck and a dune top platform for sunbathing and watching the world go by as you sit at the ocean's edge. We have direct, private access to the beach. The main level features a master suite with its own deck looking out over the ocean, two other bedrooms and a second bathroom. The living room is large, stretching from the front to back of the house. The front wall of the living room is nearly all windows, giving you a great view of the ocean and beach. The kitchen is also large with two sinks, a microwave, a kitchen island with plenty of counter space for fixing a sandwich or a gourmet meal. The dining area is part of the kitchen and has comfortable seating for 12. Again, the front kitchen wall is practically one large window so you can enjoy your meal while watching the sea. The lower level has the fourth bedroom that can sleep four, a third bathroom, a bonus/game room and a garage. We also have an elevator for our guests. Our walkway and deck feature an outdoor shower that allows you to rinse off the sand before coming inside. Our home is ideal for families looking to spend time at the beach or large extended families looking to be together in a beautiful setting. The living room has a 50-inch flat-panel TV. The master also includes a flat-panel television. The wifi is strong throughout the house. The kitchen is well appointed with range and microwave. We have a coffee maker, blender, and plenty of dishes, bowls and pots and pans. We also have a large electric griddle if you need to make a mess of pancakes. The washer and dryer are conveniently located off the kitchen. Please note that is a 7-day, Saturday-to-Saturday only rental. Check in is typically 5 pm Saturday with check out the following Saturday morning at 10 am. We do not provide linens or towels or beach items like chairs or umbrellas. We'll consider one dog up to 50 pounds for an extra $100 fee but contact me ahead of time so we can talk. There are four grocery stores within a 15 minute drive of the home (IGA on the island in Surf City, Food Lion and Publix on the mainland and Harris Teeter near Highway 17). The home also features a keypad entry system so you won't need to fuss with keys. You and your family can chose your own four-digit code for the week. We hope you enjoy your time at the beach and think of our home as your home. This home has brought us lots of joy and we hope it'll do the same for you and your family.

Sand in Your Toes was beyond our expectations. The house was perfect for our family of eight. We cook a lot and the kitchen had everything we needed. It is a quick walk to the beach for ferrying chairs and umbrellas. The porch was very comfortable with both shade and sun. Well, like I stated, an excellent beach house. Nick and Beth communicated with essential information and were very accommodating. We will definitely stay again.

The property was more spacious and much prettier in person. The view was amazing and there’s a huge deck to enjoy it from. The location in Topsail was great. Would highly recommend this property. Nick was always fast to respond with questions I had before I booked it.

This property is laid out perfectly! We were able to have wonderful dinners as a family, put together puzzles on another table, play games in the garage, fish right off the sand, and the gates allowed our pup to enjoy the porch also. Owner was responsive. No issues and everything was exactly as described, if not much better!

We had a great stay. The home is beautiful and very spacious. The deck is the perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying the ocean view We love the south end of the island, the location was perfect. It was also nice having the large parking area.

We absolutely loved the house, especially the views and the access to our own private beach. The house was well equipped, with plenty of space and the ocean views were just breath taking. We spent our mornings on the back deck enjoying our coffee and the sunrise and in the evenings gazing at the moon and stars while listening to the waves crash against the shore. Very peaceful and relaxing in a quiet area of the island. Enjoyed every second of our quality time and the precious moments we got to spend with our Marine. We look forward to returning.

A Little Piece of Heaven
We absolutely loved the house, especially the views and the access to our own private beach. The house was well equipped, with plenty of space and the ocean views were just breath taking. We spent our mornings on the back deck enjoying our coffee and the sunrise and in the evenings gazing at the moon and stars while listening to the waves crash against the shore. Very peaceful and relaxing in a quiet area of the island. Enjoyed every second of our quality time and the precious moments we got to spend with our Marine. We look forward to returning.

Great location on Topsail with wide beaches
We enjoyed that the house was situated in an area with a wide beach and few visitors. No need to worry about overcrowding and plenty of room for the kids to play. The deck was large with plenty of shade so you could enjoy the sunsets while sitting and relaxing. Another nice feature was that the air conditioning worked really well (we stayed the beginning of June) and we have had issues in the past at other rentals. Elevator worked well and this was a plus. House was well stocked, the only negative is that some minor updating and repairs should be addressed. Will stay again

Beautiful Location
Nick's place is nice and roomy and the deck and ocean view are a slice of heaven. Only improvement I can recommend is some new pillows! Thanks for a great week.

Only negative was the First Impression. The house looked as expected but the yard was overgrown and front door paintwas peeling and gave a negative impression to begin with.These 2 small things if corrected would make all the difference !Only other suggestion: replace kitchen flooring as had a seam that had pulled apart in middle of the floor.Know it's hard to keep everything perfect when you are renting, but this is such a great cottage in every way and I will be happy to rent again. Nick, you were a joy to work with.I hesitated saying this as you were so nice. Thanks for letting us rent this wonderful house, Gay Eatman

Our stay was cut short by Hurricane Dorian. The property was just as pictured. We had 3 couples and 4 children. Lots of room to spread out with privacy for everyone. The master is very spacious with a huge closet area that was perfect for a pac-n-play or crib. Beach was beautiful and there were plenty of comfortable chairs on the deck. Kitchen had everything we needed and was very well stocked. We also especially liked the low deck and felt the house was very child friendly. Nothing bad to say about this house- I would stay here again! (minus the hurricane)

A Very Nice Week at the Beach
We had a wonderful stay at this house with our extended family last week. So great to be able to walk right off the back deck and down a few steps to the sand! For those looking for an updated and stylish home, be aware that this is not it, as the furnishings, fixtures, flooring, windows and decor are all a bit old and worn. That said, the house is huge, comfortable, and right on the beach. Nick the owner was great to deal with, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Comfortable with unbeatable views!
We had a great time at this home - one family with three kids and one dog, plus our parents and grandparents. The views of the ocean from the house (inside and from the seaside porch) were beautiful. The mattresses were firm and comfortable, and the kitchen was very well stocked. While the house wasn't spotless when we arrived (cruddy sink, dirty dishes in the cabinets, debris in the dresser drawers), and the tub in the main bathroom didn't drain well, it wasn't too bad. The layout of the house worked very well for us, and the elevator was a big plus for grandma's mobility issues. The sand toys and beach chairs provided were a nice touch also! Overall, if you want a decent house on the beach but you're on a budget, this house is a winner! We would book this home again for our summer vacation.

We love this house - location is perfect for us. We’ve stayed here exclusively for several years - it is fully furnished with all one needs for a home away from home. The owner is responsive to every request and continually updates the property. An “A” property in an “A” location on an “A” beach!!!

All about the beach!
We had a wonderful week! The house was very clean and the location, views are hard to beat. Topsail is a quiet beautiful beach~just what we were looking for! We did use the linen/towel rental service Nick suggested and it was efficient and easy! The house has plenty of room, the kitchen well appointed. Great way to end the summer!

Great week but there is always something to comment on.
A great week of weather after being a bit worried about Tropical storm Chris lurking in the ocean. For the most part the kitchen was supplied with all we needed. A toaster would be nice though the toaster oven worked fine. A house that sleeps 12 people needs more than one frying pan. The biggest negative was hauling linens for all the beds along with towels. Beach chairs would have been nice but that was not a huge deal. The deck was great with plenty of chairs and the beach was beautiful. We saw evidence of pests in the kitchen that seem to show up during the night. Not sure what that was. Location was awesome and the house floor plan was great. All in all a great beach house on a beautiful beach. Thanks.

Very nice beach house, with amazing beach!
This beach house had everything the pictures conveyed. Very clean, beautiful views, everything working properly, and plenty of kitchen items for cooking. The view from the living room, kitchen, and master bedroom along with the decking and access to the beach, made this house for us, one of our best rentals. Owner was very responsive and booking was a breeze. We used sweet dreams linens for sheets, towels, beach chairs, bogey, and a surfboard. The beach was large perfect for walks or jogs, and had very few people all week. One restaurant I would recommend would be the Beach Shop & Grill. The food, drinks and service are all great. Thank you Nick & Beth from Marty & Beth for letting us rent this very nice property!

Wonderful location, Comfortable home, fun time!
We were looking for a place to stay at the beach for our paren'ts 50th anniversary that would have plenty of room for all of us, provide accommodations for mother's mobility issues and most of all, be close to the beach. The Wakeman's house has it all and more! The house is super clean, the layout is great, there is plenty of seating for everyone. The view from the dining table makes breakfast extra special. The elevator was a big help to our mother. The wi-fi is strong which is a big plus for teenagers who need to stay connected. ;)
We have been going to Topsail Island for years, and this was by far the best visit. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a place at Topsail Island and would definitely rent again!

Comfort and location
Don't know what more we could have wanted! Plenty of parking and easy access, close to our favourite Beach Grill (Warren's to me!), furniture you sat ON not IN, as we have found at so many other rentals, firm bedding and plenty of it! The kitchen had every gadget we needed, and it was on the ocean - we have already booked the next trip. I think we have finally found our home away from home at Topsail Beach! We loved every second we were there!!!

Fun vacation.
We had a wonderful time staying in this lovely family home. We enjoyed good times around the table in the large kitchen/dining area as well as in front of the tv in the comfortable living room. We especially enjoyed our time on the covered outdoor patio area listening to the surf. The children loved the moonlight walks on the beach and chasing the crabs, etc. All-in-all, our time was fun for all.

Location Location Location!!!!
This was our first visit to Topsail Island & we really had no idea of which part of the island to stay on. Thanks to the owner's great description of the property, we chose the right area. We really loved how there were no gigantic houses or high rise buildings. The house's location was perfect. We loved strolling down the beach to get to town for dinner or drinks. We were traveling with our small dog, so we also loved how pet friendly the town was. The house is just a quick 6 mile drive into Surf City for groceries and supplies. The house itself is very clean, comfortable & well appointed. We liked how the master suite was on the same floor as the living room & kitchen. There was just 2 of us so we like the 1 floor living. The owner was extremely helpful and gave us many good tips on the area. If we ever come back to this area, we would most definitely hope to stay here again!

Peaceful retreat
Great house, great owner. The first thing we noticed the night we arrived was how clean the house was. The next morning we were amazed at the outstanding views of the ocean from the master bedroom, living room and kitchen. On our first day, the ocean was very calm and the dolphins put on a real show! Much of the large deck was covered so the view and sounds of the ocean can be appreciated anytime. The kitchen and dining area are very functional and face the ocean through wide windows. All bedrooms were comfortable and the master bedroom was tasteful and paint color very soothing. The outdoor shower (cold only) along the walkway to the beach worked well for washing sandy feet (and dog). The garage is deep and could fit our SUV with enough room to open the rear hatch. Our kids said they loved that the house was right on the beach, and close to the pier and mini-golf. This was our first trip to TI, NC and we would love to go back next year. We would definitely stay in this house again.

Quiet getaway
We wanted an escape from DC for the new year and we chose this house since we had two kids. My wife loves the ocean and waking up and seeing the ocean from our bedroom was just what we needed. The house has immediate access to the beach so our kids were racing down the beach to make sand castles. This house has everything you need- including bedrooms on the opposite side of the house from the kids!!!!!! Loved the community too- did the dolphin dip to ring in the new year with the locals. My kid still thinks I'm crazy. The town is quiet which is just what we needed- maybe it was the offseason but it seems like a perfect home base while the little ones explore sea shells and sand tunnels. Even saw whales and dolphins from the dining room balcony!
