This is one of those places that stay with you. It's a beautiful property with spectacular views of the fjord and also Vesteralen. In addition there's lots of wildlife, birds in particular, directly at or near the house. The house itself is equipped with everything you might need on a vacation, and the living room offers simply stunning views from very comfortable chairs. You could sit there for hours and enjoy nature's great show. That is in particular true when you're there during the period of the midnight sun. In addition, the house is located somewhat off the beaten track, which is valuable considering how crowded Lofoten can be in summer. In fact, the nearest big supermarket is located some 50km away in Svolvaer, while the nearest shop in Laukvika (some 15km) offers only basic items, so you'd better not forget the milk ;)
We can't recommend the house highly enough!
Okay, time for nitpicking: The whirlpool also functions as the main shower facility, and since it's quite high anyone suffering from mobility issues might find it difficult to enter. And since we didn't use the whirlpool in summer, a modern walk-in shower would have been preferable.

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Sommerhaus, in dem es an nichts gefehlt hat. Ruhige Lage ca. 100m vom Strand entfernt. Netter Kontakt zur Vermieterin im Vorfeld der Reise. Ideales Umfeld für Reisen mit Hunden. Alles extrem sauber und gepflegt.
Ein-/Ausstieg in Duschbadwanne ist für ältere Personen beschwerlich

Stunning place to stay and visit the Lofoten area. It is fully equipped with sauna and jacuzzi tub. The owners are welcoming you in a way I've never experienced before. I recommend 100%.
