It is a small beautiful village with red fishermen's cabins. It is self catering which means that you have to prepare your bed, cook and take out the garbage. The staff was extremely nice and friendly, and ready to answer any questions. They offer facilities included in the basic price, that are usually charge in Norway as extras, like laundry, Kaiaks and Sauna. The main building has a cosy room with fireplace and guest are invited to have coffee and tee and chat with the nice owners and the staff. It is about 10-20 minutes drive from the major attractions in Solvaer area.

Absolutely lovely accommodation in the cabin incredible location with stunning views and short walk to amazing climbing. Staff were so helpful.
Only slight issue was the beds are traditional wooden slat beds with "hostel" style mattresses and not great if you have a bad back! But it was worth it and I would stay again!
