Located in Colorado Springs, this attractive house for $380 per night is a great option for your next trip. Enjoy this spacious, ranch style, 6 bedroom home in a quiet neighborhood, located northeast of downtown Colorado Springs. The home has new hardwood floors in kitchen and living room, new granite counter top in kitchen, and updated furniture throughout. The first floor has 3 bedrooms, including master suite, full guest bath, large living room, dining room, and eat-in kitchen. The lower level has 2 private bedrooms, a semi-private bedroom, bathroom, lounge and play area, laundry facilities and a sleeper couch. There is a private backyard with patio, fire pit, gas grill and a two car attached garage. High speed Wifi (150 mbs) & Cable TV provided in living room, master bedroom, and lower level. NO PETS, NO SMOKING. Located just 3/4 mile from Cottonwood Creek Park and Recreation Center. The park is a 77 acre award winning community park providing picnic tables, slides and swings playground, snow sledding, four soccer fields, three softball/baseball fields, tennis courts, in-line hockey court, disc golf course, and walking/running paths. The recreation center is a YMCA facility with an indoor pool and fitness center, and is available to the public on a pay-per-day basis. Perfect for Air Force Academy graduation and events, it is just 12 minutes from the South Gate entrance off I-25. The home is centrally located so that going north, south, or west you are only 20-30 minutes away from so much that Colorado Springs has to offer: Garden of the Gods Park, Old Colorado City, Flying W Ranch, Rockledge Ranch, Air Force Academy, 4 additional bases incl. Peterson Air Force Base, The Broadmoor Hotel, Seven Falls, Manitou Springs, Fort Carson, Pikes Peak and Cog Railway, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Grocers, shopping, and restaurants are only a few minutes away. 10 minutes to UCCS. 30 minutes to Colorado Springs Airport, 90 minutes to Denver International. For the security of the home and our guests there is a motion activated camera located in the front doorbell outside. Our permit code is: STR 0454

Overall great stay.
Really nice home, well equipped, but not so fancy you feel like you are walking on egg shells worrying about the kids. Location is awesome, nice and quiet neighborhood with close access to conveniences.
Only items of note, beds and mattresses:
King Bed mattress downstairs is old. Its nice and soft, but feels like you are sleeping in a rut, as its showing its age/use. The description on VRBO also showed 2 twin beds being on property upstairs. This is not the case, they don't exist. Luckily we had a couple family members cancel so it was not a problem. Owner was unaware that was how VRBO listed available beds and said they would fix it. The pull-out sofa bed in the downstairs is not suitable for teens or adults. Small kids are ok, but we ended up pulling the mattress off and putting it on the floor, putting a blanket as a liner between the mattress and bottom sheet to make it slightly more comfortable for our 7 year old.

We had a wonderful stay here for the Thanksgiving weekend. My daughter lives in Colorado Springs and this house was a great place for us to all be able to stay together. The house had plenty of room for us to spread out as well as great space to be together for Thanksgiving dinner (that we were able to prepare on site) and play games.

We enjoyed our stay. The 3 bathrooms was a lifesaver. The house was nice, clean and the large pit couch seated many guests. The downstairs bathroom had 4 spiders throughout our 3 day stay. Would stay again.

This property is very nice, modern, and spacious. Easily accommodated our 9 guests, never felt crowded. The owner went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. We would not hesitate to book this property again!

My 4 siblings, their spouses and I gathered here for a reunion. The house was large enough to accommodate 7 of us very comfortably. The owner was very easy and pleasant to work with. The location was near grocery stores and shopping, which made it super easy to gather everything we needed. If you’re looking for a nice place to stay, close to shopping take a look at this house.

Everyone enjoyed the location and house. It was very clean and well kept up. The couch was difficult to sit in and stand up from and not having another seating option except for the dining stools made it much more difficult for our group, who were all past 70. One guest who has some physical disabilities mentioned that a safety bar support on the tub/shower wall would have been very nice to have, but 9ther than that it was a very good choice.

Our group included two preschoolers. All attractions were packed, even sold out, we had thunderstorms. The house was perfect to keep everyone happy. We ended up cooking, playing games and catching up at the house. The playground was a short drive and huge. The space center was fun. We took them to the trampoline park which was super close. Lois was very kind and helpful.

We had a great stay! The owners were very responsive, the house meet our needs in every way. They had a lot of extras to make our stay comfortable, including above basics in the kitchen, games and night lights (for the kids). We would do it again!

Although we are Colorado residents, we haven't spent much time in Co Springs, and spring break was a great opportunity to spend some time in this city. This house was comfortable, had lots of beds and rooms for each person to do their own thing if he/she wanted to, and a spacious open concept kitchen/dining room/living room for everyone to hang out together. The location was convenient to Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak Cog RR, Cheyenne Mtn Zoo, and the Manitou Springs Incline, all within a 30 min drive. The property owners were very receptive and responsive. Good time had by one and all.

We spent the week with 3 of our 4 adult children and spouses. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to make home cooked meals, the dining room table was perfect for playing board games, the very large couch could seat all of us at the same time, and each couple had their own room. Lois was great to work with, communication prompt, clear and friendly. We would definitely recommend this home for larger family gatherings.

My family and I were pleasantly surprised at the accuracy of this listing and how well it met our needs as a large family. The house was spacious with varying room division but provided a great room for everyone to gather. The neighborhood was very welcoming and the availability of the owners made us so comfortable knowing we could reach them if necessary. Even though it was the Christmas weekend, Lois made certain to make contact and offer support. Very nice location with everything you'll need to enjoy any gathering with people of varying ages. A 15 mth old came to visit and the house was set with various toys, baby gate, and high chair! Staying here was most definitely a pleasure 😀

If you are looking for a family friendly home this is your home. I was so excited to see the play kitchen in the closet for the grandkids to play with. The board games were great to have. The house is very spacious and we never felt like we were in top of each other.
