About this lodge
Nestled in Leech Lake, this charming lodge for $1,300 per night is a great choice for your next break. PRICING BASED PER NIGHT We provide mattress pads, top and bottom sheets and blankets. You will need to bring your own pillows, also as our policy states (you need to bring your own paper products (paper plates, paper-towels, silverware, napkins, cups, toilet paper and Kleenex). We will provide minimal dishes and cookware. Our spacious Lodge has over 7,600 sq ft and 25 foot high ceilings with a great room that has a wall of windows facing Long Lake. The Lodge also has two lofts and three stone fireplaces! Bed linens are provided. You must supply your own towels, wash cloths and dish cloths. There are two bathrooms on the main floor and two bathrooms downstairs. Showers are roll in for ease and accessibility for all. The kitchen with center island has stainless steel appliances appliances and is stocked with all the dishes and cooking utensils you will need. Two beautiful lounging areas each with stone fireplaces and comfortable furniture are at each end of the Lodge. The large great room is perfect for dinners, crafting, sleep overs, yoga or whatever your heart desires! In the fun-filled game room, you will find multiple activities including foosball, board games, TV, cards, books, and more! Peak Season: Minimum 5 night stay - June-August Thursday-Tuesday stays only or call for available days Two-One-Eight-547-4004 Off-Peak Season: Minimum 3 night stay Any Events held on property i.e. retreats, weddings, anniversary’s, birthdays, parties, etc. need to be approved by management first, renters not complying will be charged. ($500 fine will apply). Check in time is 4:00pm Check out time is 10:00am Free wi-fi. Pets are not allowed. Deposits are non-refundable. Credit card information is required and held in the event of damage. My family has been coming to Camp Bliss for several years. Our first year was very very fun playing sardines with all the grandkids, hiding in cupboards and enjoying the fire pit on the deck. Over the years more and more doors have been locked up and reserved for employees only, the pit has been removed and the cost has gone up substantially. This past year will be our last year. And very sad but the five night minimum and increase pricing makes this place to cost prohibitive for our family. I will miss this place.

The property was fine. However you have to bring all of your own toilet paper, hand towels/hand soap for the bathroom, paper towels, dish soap for the kitchen, blankets and pillows. The lodge was FILLED with cobwebs, yet we were charged extra upon our check out for not taking out the garbages. There was no heads up that we were going to be charged either. The lack of communication on that was truly upsetting. We didn’t say anything during our stay about the cobwebs and I wish we would have requested someone come and take care of them in hindsight.

The Lodge worked perfectly for our needs. The road in was very muddy due to the time of year and weather but we were warned ahead of time and all drive vehicles that could handle it. Lots of wildlife and great trails to enjoy the outside. Only negative was the basement bunk room was too chilly for us. Otherwise perfect! And we will definitely be back again.

This was our 3rd time at Camp Bliss Lodge. It is a great place to have the whole family together for a shared vacation. They were so solidly booked this year, the lodge was not as thoroughly cleaned as it had been in the past, and the beach was not weed controlled and cleaned out like past years. A great time was enjoyed by all!

Camp Bliss was a great family reunion location. We used both the Lodge, the Bliss house and the tiny cabins. All were clean and everything in working order. We enjoyed the yard space for outside games, the large gathering space in the lodge for family meals and the swimming at the sand bar was fun for all ages.
Since this is a handicap accessible facility, I would highly recommend paving the path to the lake.
It was difficult to get our 97 year mother down to the lake in a wheelchair, though easier at the Bliss House because of the shorter distance.
Another recommendation would be to have a washer/dryer available to guests. With a 5 day minimum and providing your own towels, it would be appreciated.

Vacation at Camp Bliss was a great time for our family. We have already booked to come back next year since the lodge accommodates our family well. Lodge was clean and maintained when we arrived and staff was willing to answer or help with anything we needed. Since we have a daughter in a wheel chair there are a couple things that would be nice to upgrade since it is advertised as handicap accessible. A way to get to the lake from the house with a solid smooth surface so that we could easily roll her down to the lake. The path is fine as a route to get there but isn't the most wheelchair friendly. The addition of the new ramp from living room to grilling area was a great addition.

I brought a group of Vets here for a weekend get away. It was awesome. The food not only was fantastic, but it was ready for us 3 times a day. The staff was great and worked hard to keep us happy. The lodging was amazing. Super clean and the beds were very comfortable. I will definitely be back again with a bigger group of Veterans!

Great space for a lot of people?
For the record we were there in winter and just after record breaking cold weather (polar vortex), the patio BBQ was not cleared, but we made it happen to get our burgers and brats done. All the main rooms seemed to have really bad lighting making it very difficult to read. The kitchen was small and strangely laid out, an absolute lack of counter space hurt too. No "dishwasher" which was only assumed on our part, meant we had to spend time doing dishes rather than having fun - not the end of the world, but rather inconvenient. There was lots of bedrooms and space so even in a large group you could find some peace and quiet when you needed to. There are several large tables (we like lots of board games) which is rare; too bad the lighting was so poor. The hot water heater was not able to keep up with the 11 of us, meant many had cold showers. Can’t imagine how 25 would fare.

Beautiful Place
We stayed at the Lodge and it's even bigger than the pictures portrayed! Lots of sleeping areas and bathrooms. The bed I slept on was super comfortable and adjustable. The large meeting room was perfect for playing games with our group of 12. Everyone who came said it was a a beautiful place. The views of the lakes on either side of the house are gorgeous, I'd love to come in the summer some time and take advantage of the dock for fishing.

Upon arrival the Camp Staff was welcoming and assissted in moving items in for us with a wagon. Staff made sure that we had everything that we needed to get started. The lodge was clean and welcoming, the beds were very comfortable. The lodge itself is so warm and inviting that we had a wonderful time, playing cards, putting together puzzles and of course enjoying great food. We were able to go on the accessible golf cart for a ride down by the lake and throughout Camp. Some people went for walks and went back across the bridge to see the Yurts off of Third and Fouth lakes. The time ended way to soon, but everyone is talking about coming again next year and making sure to bring more people with us. Thanks to Wanda and Jeff for a great time at Camp Bliss.

Camp Bliss and The Lodge provided the perfect setting for a family reunion. People converged on Walker and Camp Bliss from all over the United States and everyone loved the place. The Lodge is spacious, with a great room for family meals, and amply accommodated our group of 20 The lake provided recreation for the adults and eight kids in attendance, with a great sand bar just a short boat ride away. The grounds themselves are immaculately maintained, with a communal fire pit and room to wander.

Fantastic Time
We stayed at Bliss Lodge for a family reunion. It was large enough to provide families to have some places to get away from each other. Plenty of sleeping quarter. The bunk room was a great hangout for all the cousins. Beautiful setting. Quiet lake. Pontoon was a nice add-on. Kayaks and paddleboard was used by us. The family really enjoyed swimming on the sandbar, even the babies!
