Situated on the quaint and picturesque East end of Perdido Key, this resort pairs recreation with relaxation and offers every amenity imaginable, including 2 outdoor beachfront pools, an indoor heated pool with a jetted spa, tennis courts, a state of the art fitness center and a charcoal grilling area. The sugar-white sand and emerald waters of Perdido Key's beaches are simply breathtaking, and create the perfect setting for an unforgettable beach vacation! This stunning 2 bedroom unit features a sophisticated décor and luxury upgrades such as high-end furnishings, large flat-screen televisions, quality linens, and not to mention the most amazing views of our beloved Gulf Coast! The living area boasts a comfy sofa and loveseat plus two additional chairs, huge LCD television, and floor to ceiling windows that lead to a spacious gulf front balcony! There's even a telescope where you can watch dolphins or stargaze! Enjoy your morning coffee or after-dinner cocktail on the oversized 300 square foot beachfront terrace, which offers seating for 4 at the outdoor dining table plus a cushioned outdoor sofa! Cooking is not only easy but also enjoyable in the gourmet kitchen, featuring granite countertops, a smooth cook top, side-by-side fridge with in-door water and ice dispenser, and all the small appliances and utensils you’ll need to prepare your favorite meal. The dining area offers seating for 6, with additional seating for two at the breakfast bar. The master suite is elegantly appointed, hosting a king-size premium bed with memory foam mattress, another large flat screen television and beachfront balcony access! The attached master bath is equally impressive, featuring a jetted garden tub, a separate walk-in shower, his-and-her vanities and gulf views. The second bedroom offers a queen, full, plus a twin sleeping 5 in this bedroom alone! The living room couch can be converted into a sleeper sofa, allowing accommodations for up to 9.

My husband and I traveled to Perdido Key at the end of August. The condo is decorated nicely, is clean, and was comfortable. We loved our stay!

The good:
Location: less traffic/busy compared to Orange Beach, but only a 10-20 min drive to most shopping/restaurants. Unit had sufficient amenities/appliances/kitchen needs . Rooms were spacious, decor was contemporary w/ "beach" theme. TVs in each room, with internet access. Balcony was spacious with great view of ocean, comfortable & adequate seating/table.
The bad:
Instructions for check-in were very confusing. Directions indicated there was a "panel" to input our code on a north wall between elevators. There was no panel where indicated, which created significant confusion on arrival. Adding to the confusion was that 1 of the 2 elevators were inoperable but was unknown to us at the time and unfortunately was the elevator we were trying to use (while in tow with all of our stuff we just had unpacked ). Since our code was not working (inside the broken elevator), we struggled in panic wondering how we were going to access our unit without having to cart everything up 7 flights of stairs. Thankfully another visitor showed how & where to input the code INSIDE the working ELEVATOR (which was also quite awkward/difficult since the buttons didnt make a sound or light up so you really never knew if you were pushing them sufficiently & needed to be entered quickly). Once we figured out the elevator we were using was broken, we finally were able to get upstairs in the 1 working elevator. The gate INTO the property was also not functioning properly. If an attendant was at the gate (not 24/7) they "buzzed us in", instead of having to use the code we were given (which never did work). Thankfully another visitor gave us THEIR gate code, which seemed to work ok. The middle tower of the property was under construction during our stay. I knew this in advance because it stated on website at booking back in November. I called prior to my final payment to inquire the status to avoid loud noise during our stay and to cancel w/full refund if construction would be disruptive, but they assured us that most of it was finished & only painting was being done. Most of the week we noted only a couple workers outside on their phone or watching tourists on the beach 90% of the day with little work actually being done. Unfortunately the last 2 days of our stay (with best weather), more workers arrived w/drilling/grinding/sand blasting being done and was very loud.
Overall we enjoyed our stay, although main property needs updating (gate/elevators)

King bed was uncomfortable for us - too soft. Also, a larger TV in the great room would be nice, and in line with several other Beach Colony units. Enjoyed our stay.

Looking for a oceanfront condo? This condo is the perfect solution. Generous sized condo right on the beach. The balcony was great to sit on and admire the sunsets and ocean. Kitchen had everything needed for our stay and the bedrooms were generous in size. Very short boardwalk and you were on the beach - made it great when you wanted to come back to the condo for a snack. Would highly recommend this condo for your stay.

Wonderful
We had a fabulous time at Beach Colony- the condo was great! The only thing that would have made it easier is a key pad to get in. Too many times the girls forgot to grab a key once they were done with the beach. Plus keeping track of keys was kind of a pain- a key pad is so much easier. But everything else was fantastic!

Condo is nice, but is a typical, basic condo. Needs some updating in different areas. Very nice balcony and view! The kitchen needs more cooking supplies and oven is difficult to to read the temperature setting, so we just had to guess.
The elevators were very persnickety and were difficult to get to work. Having an actual key to the condo can be difficult and frustrating when several are staying in the same condo. A keypad would be much more convenient.
We had an issue that required us to get in touch with the building manager and then retrieve something that had fallen on to the balcony below. It was VERY frustrating trying to get in touch with the correct person, and after numerous phone calls to multiple people and businesses, we finally got the item back after three days. It was very frustrating.
Also, when we arrived at the condo, there were numerous “trash bags” of linens and comforters stacked in both closets with,”Do Not Touch” written on tape and stuck to the bags. In one closet, they took up almost every bit of space to hang any clothes or store anything. Same in the other closet, making it difficult to unpack or really get comfortable with our surroundings. The storage space was limited enough and those bags made it much more difficult. It also made it feel unwelcoming.
We have stayed at Beach Colony before and had an excellent experience, however it was in a different building. I’ve learned that the East building is managed by someone completely different than the other two buildings, so the on-site office is of no good if staying in an East Condo. I will consider booking there again, but never in a condo in the East building. I will be very careful the next time I book.

Beautiful and clean condo!
We enjoyed our stay so much. It was very clean and beautiful decorations. The master bed was soooo comfy! Easy checkin and checkout process. The view from the room was just absolutely perfect!

Wonderful Getaway!
We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely condo! We arrived after hours, around 6pm. No one was in the office, so we didn’t have parking passes until the next morning, But everything was ok! We left a message for the property manager, but never heard back. There were no tickets or towing, thankfully. It is a beautifully appointed condo with every amenity you need. We spent a lot of time on the balcony, for naps, meals, and cocktail hour. We will rent this place time and time again!

Was fabulous!!! We reserved several places for family to gather for a memorial service at Barrancas National Cemetery. The comfort and ease for family to gather was perfect!

Anniversary Getaway
My husband and I had a wonderful time spending our anniversary at Perdido Key. The condo was nice! The balcony is great and large! We spent every morning out there while drinking our coffee. We only had one complaint and that was the water pressure of the shower. It was lower than we personally like. Other than that, it is very nice place to stay! Very spacious!

Amazing October weekend
We had such a great weekend. The property had an amazing views from the large balcony of the gulf and beach. The amenities on site were great for a weekend, easy beach access and indoor and outdoor pools. The condo was very spacious for 4 adults and 1 small child.

Wonderful Anniversary Weekend!
We have stayed at Beach Colony many times and always love the area. This was no exception, and it was not our first time working with Luxury Coastal Vacations for good reason. Check in / out is a breeze, communication is awesome, and the condo was perfect. A super nice, quiet, stress free beach vacation is exactly what we needed! We look forward to returning next year for a longer stay!

Excellent family vacation
Perdido Key is a quiet little town but does not lack fun if you like to explore nature. The beach is beautiful. Johnson Beach State Park right around the corner provides calm, clear water to find shells and hermit crabs. Activities like a theater can be found in Orange Beach 20 min away.

We absolutely loved our stay at this condo! It was a last minute trip to go visit my brother who is stationed at the navy base and we got so lucky to find this gem! Exactly what we needed. Beautiful views. Conveniently located to everything. Short drive to gulf shores! Perfect! Thank you so much!

Better than Advertised!
The condo was better than the pictures revealed! I am pretty particular and I could not find a thing wrong! The furniture was beautiful,clean & comfortable. The master king bed was very comfortable. I loved the whirlpool bathtub overlooking the ocean. The balcony was huge and the rounded patio couch was lovely. Best view in the complex off that balcony. Loved the fast washer and dryer to do laundry. I will recommend this condo to others and hope to come back and stay here myself!
