Lovely small hotel, friendly staff, great sunset views, near the beach!

The staff at the Sunset Inn were nice, helpful and personable. The Bermuda room and the sunset view was exceptional and the short walk to the beach saved on parking issues. My wife appreciated the gluten free breakfast options. The porches are a plus and allow you to enjoy the ocean breezes or sunset views. The Sunset Inn was conveniently located near the Sunset Beach Trading Company when the wind took away our beach umbrella. The Wifi worked well and the dehumidifier in the room helped the room be more comfortable. We definitely plan to return soon!

Perfect mother-daughter long weekend getaway to Sunset Beach!

The location was convenient with a few minute walk to the beach, the room was spacious, the breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We especially enjoyed the screened private balcony complete with Carolina rocking chairs overlooking a lovely marsh area with views of the sunset.

Elevator (or lift) access to the top floor would have made the stay absolutely perfect.

Overall enjoyed just being at the beach!

Staff were super nice! Really liked the location. Bed was really comfortable. Morning continental breakfast was good!

Poor lighting throughout the unit. Shower water pressure was great, but the shower is dingy looking and way too small, also the large step up is tricky to navigate. In room heating unit is very slow to warm up the room. It was really chilly when we arrived, and it took hours to warm up the room even with the use of a small portable heater. The room really needs some soundproofing. Luckily, we only had one night where their was people above our room. We could hear every step they took along with hearing the shower and commode flushing.

Nice room, excellent breakfast and Linda (front desk/kitchen) was so sweet.

The room was quite lovely. comfortable bed and nice screened deck.

Needs some painting and landscape maintenance.

bad mosquitos. bed sheets not staying on. had to climb 3 stories. bedside lamp not working properly. roach in the bathroom.

Very nice B&Bish Hotel in a great location near the beach.

owners and operators clearly take pride in the property and guests

B & B yet breakfast was only a notch above a Hampton or Courtyard breakfast. Hot dish each day was essentially a slight variation of the day before.

It was very comfortable and clean. I couldn’t really rate the employees. We never saw them.

I loved the cottage feel of this little hotel/ Bed and Breakfast.

it was pretty far from the ocean which is the main attraction.

The grab and go breakfast was exceptional! The manager was super nice and went out of her way to make sure we had any and everything we wanted. The beach was short walk from the inn. The view of the marsh was very nice, as there was a lot of birds in the sanctuary to watch while we drank our coffee of the mornings. We stayed in the “Bermuda room” and it was very lovely. We will definitely return!!

Coffee was available in our room in the small coffee maker, but the “good” coffee could be made available a tad bit earlier than 7:45 am and breakfast at 8:15. It’s not a deal breaker, by any means, but we get up early.

Our 3rd time staying here and enjoyed every minute! Friendly staff and very clean rooms.

Breakfast was good! Nice variety of grab and go items. Location was very convenient. Short walk to the beach!

needs to be updated with electrical outlets for us old people to rent and keep golf carts to get back and forth to the b

it was beautiful.

rented a golf cart due to being so far from the beach (my honey is having knee replacement soon) and there was absolutely no where to charge it. we ended up going home a day early due to his knee pain.

Sunset Inn is an amazing place to stay, close everything!!!

Everything. The Bermuda room was amazing. spacious, decor was great. My wife has an egg allergy, I had called ahead to see if they could help being they provide breakfast. They went out of their way to make sure my wife had a hot meal for breakfast. Andrea and Cynthia are FANTASTIC!!!

We couldn’t stay longer.

We were really impressed. Very clean. Friendly staff. Exceptional breakfast for something to grab and go. The private balcony view was awesome. It was very cozy and definitely plan on returning again in the future.
