About this house rental
Located in Mission Beach, this charming house for $850 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. This beautiful home is perfect for a large family or group of friends with two fully equipped kitchens, two living rooms and two oversized washer/dryers. Roof deck is very large and private, with dining table/chairs and lounge chairs. Downstairs has a lovely raised patio with table/chairs - enjoy the sun and spectacular ocean and sunset views from both. All bedrooms have high quality beds, flatscreen TV's and ceiling fans. Upstairs 3 BR/2.5 BA sleeps 8; one king, two queens and a queen pullout sofa. Downstairs 2 BR/2 BA sleeps 6; one king, one queen and one queen pullout sofa. Both units have two twin fold out futons ideal for young children. The two units do not connect to each other from the inside. Residence is air-conditioned, all windows are dual pane. Large two car garage, plus a third space behind the garage for over-sized vehicles. Steps from the ocean and Belmont Park, you can enjoy the ocean views and beautiful sunsets from the ground floor patio or the private upstairs roof deck. The house was great! Much more spacious than expected. We had a group of 11 split between the 2 houses and the upstairs house had plenty of space for everyone. My only complaint was that the pictures and map made it look beachfront but it was actually the 3rd house back from the beach. Otherwise the houses had everything we needed and were comfortable and clean.

This a great property. The amenities were as advertised and the location with access to the beach was phenomenal. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. Highly recommend recommend this property to anyone visiting San Diego.

Our extended family— 3 generations stayed in this lovely rental. We rented both the upstairs & downstairs units which allowed all 14 of us to have plenty of room. The cute neighborhood and proximity to the beach, restaurants, shops & walking path added to our enjoyment. The area was quiet & renters were respectful of the property. We even had a Bon fire on the beach with s’mores— the company we chose for it brought everything down to the beach for us. It was a fabulous way to spend our last night on Mission Beach.

The property was beautiful. House was as pictured. Only issue was it was two separate unites. It is not one house! I may have missed this in the info. It was spacious, just the going back and forth from the upstairs unit to the down stairs one was a little fustrating, but the location was awesome. Overall we had an awesome time

It was a great place for our group. Having three parking spots was perfect. The neighboring group next door was a little young and loud but it was a holiday weekend there.

This was a family vacation (ages 2-60+) using both units. Great location and units were clean and stocked as promised. Easy walk to beach, food, drink, entertainment. We felt safe here and all quiet after 10pm. Garage parking is tight for unit 718 so we did not utilize. Our toaster was broken in 718 and mgmt company responded promptly. However after 4 toasters we were set (long story)! Pam helped oversee response.
Suggested repairs needed to glass shower doors and grill is rotted through bottom. I have some mobility limitations so accessibility to parking and unit were okay. Suggest handrails in showers. Enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this location and proprietor!

Loved this place and would absolutely come back. Proximity to the beach is literal feet with food, coffee, events under five minutes’ walk away. Would very much recommend!

Great location. Accommodated 4 couples & 1 single perfectly any more is crowded. Parking is difficult but that’s not the property’s fault. Could have been cleaned better. Beds looked clean but floors & stove could of been better (we found a sock under the bed). Overall great experience and great location!

The location of this home could not have been more perfect. It was big enough to host our big family too. The host / property manager were very quick to respond to all questions. The only negative comment I have would be around check in. I had to drive to a property management location half a mile from the house to get a door code when I feel it could have simply been emailed to me.

Listing is noted as a HOUSE. This is two condos one upper and one lower with NO shared living space. We rented it for the 5 bedroom's for a family vacation The photos shown #24 and #28 are not accurate. The beach is down the street, not steps as noted and photos lead you to believe. Bedding in all rooms are sheets only and folded blankets to use in closets. Dirty dishes left in oven and cigarette butts on rooftop.

This property has an awesome location super close the mission beach with views from the rooftop deck. The location was the thing that made the property special. There is a lot of space for a big group with five bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. Our issue we had with the property is that it is not exactly as pictured, a lot more outdated and not well kept. In addition it was not very clean, yet the cleaning instructions were extremely specific and you are at risk of losing your deposit if you do not follow the cleaning instructions exactly. There is also a very early check out time of 10 am, with a $50 charge for every 10 minutes you are late. We requested late check out and we’re able to leave by 11 Am, which is would still consider a pretty early check out time. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the location.

This place was great! Communicative host and let us check in a few hours early and check out an hour late. Everything you need for the beach is at the house. No complaints about the stay. Checking in was the only part that was somewhat inconvenient. You have to go to a property management office to "pick up the keys" and there aren't any keys as it's a keyless entry (code on the doors). You really only go there so they can have you sign some forms.. seems unnecessary and kind of a hassle if you don't have a car. Other than that, great place!

I rented this property for 3 nights to have a very small wedding ceremony with close family and friends. Checking in process was challenging and delayed. I had contacted the person regarding early check in around 1pm and she said it would be ok and had to do another property inspection and said she will call me back. She did not call back so I contacted again a few hours later which was check in time and said the upstairs unit key code pad wasn’t working and they were having issues with the key and they were working on it. I spoke with her 3 times and another person and I was able to check in around 6pm and had to use the key which was difficult to lock/unlock. Also, it was extremely hot that weekend. The AC upstairs unit was not working at all and the heat was “unbearable” even with the fans on, windows opened, and blinds shut! Unfortunately, my guest and I did not use the upstairs units the last two nights. I notified them about it and they did nothing. My guests and I stayed in the downstairs unit (12 people) which is unacceptable as I paid for two units. The upstairs master bathroom tub was not draining. The downstairs kitchen sink was clogged and garbage disposal wasn’t working, and there was lots of sand in the master bed downstairs. The downstairs pull out couch was dirty and pillows had stains. I notify the property manager with these complaints and they didn’t do anything. Their reply was “Thank you I will advise manager!” Then they responded saying “ We did a property walkthrough the day before you arrived and it was working perfectly.” Obviously, they didn’t because why would they tell me that they were doing a property inspection the day of checkin!!? Overall, our experience was horrible and I do not recommend this spot.

Perfect location for family vacation!! Convenient to the beach, restaurants, and boardwalk. Large assortment of beach accessories in the garage which worked out for our family coming from the East Coast. We could see the dolphins swimming from the top deck!

Perfect location and plenty of beds
We had a great stay at this property. The location is absolutely perfect. We enjoyed the roof time deck and front patio every day. It was very well stocked with good pans and knives. The grill worked great. The beds were all comfortable, and all linens were provided. You could bring extra blankets if you get cold. The Wi-Fi was pretty non existent, so doing any sort of work while there was not possible, but that’s not the point of vacation anyway. Also one tv had no sound but we connected it to a Bluetooth speaker and it worked great, again not the point of vacation. I would definitely recommend this home for families and friends.

Great location, within walking distance to amenities. House was comfortable, accommodated our large family. Only downfall was a small tripping hazard near the gate, needs a piece of tape or paint as a heads up.
