About this house rental
Situated in Oceano, this lovely house for $233 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. (SLO County, CA/Short-Term Rental License #6004179) Duplex is 1.5 mi. to Oceano Dunes Vehicular Recreation Area entrance! The Rental Unit is entered on the back alley side of duplex. The driveway can accommodate up to 3 cars and extra garage parking (door has 7' clearance) is available for an ATV trailer or another car. A beach annual pass is available for your use as well. There is a $50 replacement fee required if you should lose the pass. You will find coffee, English Breakfast and Green Teas, hot chocolate packets, sugars and creamers, snack bars, instant oatmeal packets, and filtered water for your enjoyment. You have your own open use of the rental unit, entering and exiting at any time of day or night. You have access to use of the garage for laundry and utility sink, for playing darts, for jigsaw puzzle set-up, for perusing some reading materials and listening to the radio, for parking a trailer or car, for grabbing the two bicycles (equipped with helmets and locks) for a cruise around the area, for grabbing the beach gear (a blanket, basket, cooler, 2 chairs, 4 towels, body-board) ... The garage door access code will be the same as the entrance lock box code that you will be assigned before arrival. The kitchen is set up for meal preps and serving, including a crock pot! The living room has a fireplace (electronic), and a cabinet with games, DVDs and VCR tapes for your viewing. The rental is good for couples, business travelers & families (12 yrs old and up). We consider pets (dogs only) but please no heavy shedders! Keep them off all furniture and beds and bring your own pet bedding etc. The side patio/rock yard is fenced for pet containment. bathrooms: 1 Bedrooms: 2 Beds: 2 (both are queen size) Check In: Anytime after 3PM (24 hr. private entrance access) Check Out: 11AM (please place key back in lock box) Property type: House/Duplex Room type: Entire home/apt No smoking inside rental unit (including the garage) No parties or events (low key visits for bbq etc. by a few other family/friends in the area fine, but no overnight additional guests please) May not be safe or suitable for children (0-12 years), so registered guests are to be 12 years of age or older.

We visited with 3 of us adults. Two dogs were here and the place couldnt have been more perfect. A decent sized backyard allowed the dogs to play a bit and safely go to the bathroom. TJ was a fantastic host... very communicative and allowed us an early checkin and slightly later checkout. beach pass, wine, and overall cleanliness was the extra above and beyond that we all loved. Thank you Tj!

We live in Santa Rosa and arranged to meet our son, who lives in LA, somewhere along the Central Coast. This place is a great location, not far from the beach and close to SLOtown. The place is comfortable, spacious and quiet.

The property was exactly as described, and had even more nice extra amenities than we could have imagined. We loved our time there and both the house and the outdoor space was perfect for two couples and our dog. TJ was very responsive even though we only had one minor question. Awesome place!

Good for our needs
The location was great and convenient to other family members. It was equipped with everything we needed . I especially liked the bikes and helmets and the washer and dryer. There was room to entertain others with the 2 areas in the yard. Instructions were excellent and so helpful .

Peaceful and homey
We recently spent a week visiting our son, and TJ's place was a relaxing and convenient place to relax. The fire pit inspired late night conversations, the kitchen was easy to use, and we were surprised by all the thoughtful touches and gifts from TJ. On top of everything, she's a naturalist and was able to advise us on spots to find various birds, mammals, and tide pools.

Spent five nights here with friends. It’s the cleanest and most well equipped place we ever stayed. The owners have gone above and beyond to make it a memorable stay. The photos on line do not do it justice. It’s much nicer than it shows. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Pleasant Stay at Pelican House
Lovely two bedroom cottage provided everything necessary for a pleasant stay within a short drive of great beaches. Attached garage gives covered parking. Minor noise factor (motorcycles, trucks, chainsaws) at certain times during the day, but not at night. TJ, the property manager, was great. Price was right, too. We'd stay there again.

The kitchen is very well equipped with a variety of small appliances, baking & cooking items etc. TJ has everything you need to enjoy your stay including bicycles, games & puzzles. She has also provided everything you need for a day at the beach: chairs, cooler, umbrella & boogie boards.
Our favorite part of the property was the lovely patio. We spent many hours reading, visiting with friends & enjoying the fire pit. We brought our dog & the patio is perfect for a dog—plenty of room to explore & warm areas to nap.
TJ is a wonderful host. She reached out to us upon our arrival to make sure we had everything we needed & was readily available during our stay. My husband & I found out we had quite a bit in common with her. TJ is a friendly, wonderful person & we really enjoyed spending time with her.

What a wonderful place to stay, I felt like I was in a beach cottage, the home is nicely decorated and SUPER clean. I had my dogs with me and the fenced in yard was perfect for them. The house is very well equipped with everything you might need - and a lot of nice extra touches. There is beach gear and games, two bicycles, board games and puzzles - you won't need to buy anything. Washer dryer in the garage, lots of parking, and a quiet neighborhood. I loved it!

TJ has done an excellent job to make your stay pleasant and worry-free. The house is very clean with every detail being thought about. Not only you'll find plates/utensils/cups and pans/pots, but a bottle of pinor gris is waiting for you in the fridge. Beach blankets, bicycles with the lock and helmet(!!!) are in garage. All you need is to turn off your mobile and head to the beach. Wonderful! Thank you TJ

Excellent property for two couples or a couple and kids. This is a low-key place to sleep, eat your meals, do laundry, etc. You won't be spending time in the house anyway, right? Clean, comfortable, convenient, pleasant with lots of nice touches.

Cute and Dog Friendly
Needed a place near by while having my house fumigated for termites that was dog friendly. This place was perfect. Not only was there a fenced yard for the dogs the house was supplied with everything you would need for your stay from beach toys to coffee. Plus was very clean, a big deal for me. The owners were very flexible with check out time which was helpful. I recommend this place highly.

Absolutely perfect! We didn’t eat at the house much, but there seemed to be everything you would need. We had our dog approved ahead of time and we were so happy with the fenced in yard! The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. We will plan to stay here again! Great central location to so many activities.
