About this house rental
Located in Saluda, this attractive house for $362 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Incredible views from an eight acre landscaped estate only minutes to downtown historic Saluda, North Carolina, fifteen minutes to Hendersonville, twenty minutes to the Tryon International Equestrian Center and thirty minutes by interstate to Asheville. Huge deck with seating for 16 overlooks the mountains and the piedmont Main level consists of kitchen with Stainless Steel Appliances, dining room, great room with soaring rock gas fireplace, 65" Smart LG HDTV and a Master Suite with a private screened porch, Gas Fireplace, walk-in closet and a tub and separate shower in the master bathroom with double sinks. Second level overlooks the great room and view and has two bedrooms and a guest bath. Lower level has a very large bedroom with two Queen beds, a full large bath with double sinks, a 55" HDTV, a separate area to play cards or games, Classic Iron gas wood stove, refrigerator, a spacious laundry room with a full-size Washer and Drying with plenty of counter space to fold your clothes. Perfect setting for a small Wedding or other events with up to a 25 Maximum amount of guest and 15 vehicles. We do allow some pets with a fee of $125 per pet. Prior approval needed. You'll find there's plenty of room in and around The Escape if you and the others just want some quiet time to read a book, meditate or just play some outdoor games in the yard. We also wanted to let you know about the next Escape property, "The Escape at Victoria Mountain" This is a new 6 Bedroom, 5 Full Bathrooms and 2 Half Baths. This Custom Log Home will sleep 11 comfortably. It was beautifully designed by Blue Ridge Log Cabins and is located on a very secluded ten acre estate in the same area as "The Escape at Frost Mountain", just minutes to Historic Downtown Saluda, North Carolina, fifteen minutes to Hendersonville, twenty minutes to the Tryon International Equestrian Center and thirty minutes by interstate to Asheville. It has a Front and Two Rear Covered Decks that overlook the Piedmont mountains in the back and a very peaceful forest setting off the front deck. The Main level consists of a kitchen with state of art stainless steel appliances including a Double Oven, Cooktop, Microwave, Refrigerator and Dishwasher, a Dining room with a custom dining room table with ample seating plus a great room with a rock gas fireplace and a 65” HD SmartTV, a Master Suite opening out to the covered back deck as well as a spacious Laundry room with a Full Size Washer and Dryer and plenty of counter space to fold clothes. Second level overlooks the great room and view and has two bedrooms and a guest bath. The lower level has two very large Master Suites with Master Baths and Double Sinks. This level also includes a Full-size Refrigerator/Freezer, Washer/Dryer, Microwave Oven and coffeemaker that makes brewed coffee as well as Keurig pods. This lower level also includes another 65" HD SmartTV utilizing DirectTV satellite programming as well as a Custom Rock Gas Fireplace and a covered deck. Both Log Homes are within a mile of each other. "The Escape at Victoria Mountain" has its own listing which is VRBO #1158070. We would be delighted to have you as our Guest at either Escapes!

We celebrated our 30th Anniversary here with friends and family. We had a great time. House was perfect to hold the party. The views were amazing. Saluda is a great place, we had been there before. Easy drive to Asheville. Front porch was great for breakfast in the morning and back porch for dinner and star gazing.

And you could walk to Saluda if you wished -- about a 15 minute walk. Saluda is delightful. Probably the most relaxing two weeks we've had in a long, long time.

We had a terrific week at The Escape! My family really enjoyed the home and big yard and surrounding area . We were fortunate to enjoy a few cool evening on the porch with the unseasonably hot weather in the mountains the last few weeks. We loved sitting on the front porch watching a family of cottontail rabbits play in the side yard! Lots of beautiful nature to observe and enjoy! Other than a few minor glitches with the air conditioning it was a perfect week . The property manager is terrific . He goes out of his way to make sure all questions are answered and concerns taken care of promptly!

Convenient to most locations. Nice and quiet. Relaxing location.
Only very minor negative would be fix the door locks. After a while you only use the front door because it works. But the back porch is where you want to go.
But overall a great rental. Hits on all needs.

Property was fantastic! What a view! If you like log cabins you will definitely like this one. Location was great. Our family (6 adults and 4 children) stayed here so we could attend our granddaughter's softball senior day at North Greenville University which was only about a 30 minute drive away. We didn't have any issues except how to open the bear proof garbage container at the end of the driveway. We didn't see any bears but we did see a little snow. Being from the lowcountry of South Carolina we don't see snow too often. Highly recommend this property and we would definitely return.

Our escape to The Escape

The only negatives I will point out were the extremely hot water and frequent ladybugs/centipedes throughout the home. But those were minor and previously pointed out by the owner, so I would not at all let that deter you from staying in this beautiful home!

Another wonderful stay at the cabin!
This was our 2nd stay at this special cabin. The home is large and comfortable for our entire family. It was very clean and well-stocked. The mountain views are amazing and the location is so convenient, being close to the adorable downtown of Saluda and
I-26. We were only minutes away from all or our favorite activities. The property manager is very responsive and provides all the information you need for a great stay. We are already planning our next visit.
