Fantastic. Everyone placed our comfort first and foremost.

Beautiful classic property with large wraparound porch and enclosed dining room overlooking the mountains.

Aside from the occasional creaky floor, there’s not much not to like.

It was a once in a lifetime trip with great friends.

Breakfast was superb. Setting great. Staff outstanding. Everything was comfortable and clean. The staff treated us like we were special. We had quick service on our television dvd. Marvelous trip!

The mattress on my single bed could have been better. There was not anything to dislike.

The room rate was steep for us but we knew it would be and there were no surprises. It was all wonderful.

Nice, homey feeling.

The staff was outstanding. Everyone was friendly and professional and made you feel at home. Lots of nooks and crannies to sit back, have a nightcap and relax. Good breakfast with a great view of the mountains. We would have been happy to stay several nights to really relax.

Beautiful location with a homey feel!

Loud music and loud ringing phone well after 10 pm. Had to call 3 times to beg them to turn off very loud lobby music that unfortunately our room heard loud and clear. Hot water ran out after one shower. Fresh cookies they left and advertise where burnt to a crisp. No privacy as other guest were looking in thru rickety shades in our room. When owner was told, response was, “ you are the first guest to say anything, hahaha. Phone always rings in October, hahahah.” Then treated as if we were dirt at breakfast. Very disappointed. Would definitely not recommend!!! So disappointed! I will also be notifying the B@B association.

Overall, it was an excellent experience. We have already booked our next visit.

The 2 course breakfast was exceptional. Looking forward to having dinner on our next visit. The Spa service was also great, my wife really enjoyed it.

Only small issue we had was with the WiFi signal which considering where we were in the mountains was to be expected, not sure anything could be done about it.

Orchard Inn

This inn was very clean, comfortable, and the staff were very accommodating for my group. They really helped make this trip worth the drive and the money. The food was amazing. We were even able to have my dog accompany us for a breakfast. The town is even cute and quaint- so if you are ever there please do stop and take a look around. Hit one of the local eateries, it’ll be a nice treat. If you are looking for a scenic, cozy, track back in time, this place is it! Just have to see it for yourself !

Honestly, this wasn’t a bad thing for us but for some it maybe - There were a lot of ladybugs in the cottage, but we love ladybugs so it wasn’t a bother or pest in fact we think it made our experience a little more special!

Exceptional

Everything. The staff are lovely, always ready to help make the guests comfortable. The inn has a cozy feel with comfortable furniture, a small library, and a deck for dining nestled in the woods. The food is delicious. There’s a complementary drinks station with coffee, tea, sodas and water. A couple of friendly dogs and two beautiful cats complete the homey feel. Loved it and hope to go back soon.

The only thing was the lack of a non-slip mat in the tub and no grab bar. That wouldn’t be an issue for many people but due to my age, it was for me. It wouldn’t stop me from returning!

Very pleasant veranda.

Beautiful location. Room seemed clean enough. There was a fair amount of ambient noise from neighbors late at night and early morning....not too bad.

Saluda surprise

Everything! It’s location tucked away in the trees. The peaceful serenity of sitting on the front porch in the morning. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff were friendly and helpful. I felt like I was being spoiled.

Superb

The staff is wonderful. The surroundings are beautiful. The porch is comfortable. Breakfast was excellent; a traditional Austrian crepe was on the menu that day. We'd go again.

I will go again

Location great. Staff most wonderful----Dorie especially. Room was a nice combination of the rustic (club house and cottages) but the bathroom was exceptionally clean and modern. I liked the working fireplace.

Dark, dark, dark in the room. I had to gather up all the lamps to put them next to a chair to read comfortably. And I hated the dogs and cat roaming the place but I know many people think that's great. I hated it.
