I was given a massive two bedroom flat with a balcony overlooking the courtyard. This is an old reconverted farm so ceilings are quite low. The flat was well appointed and came with a well equipped kitchen. The courtyard offers a beautiful view of the town’s church and is perfect for lazy afternoons. Great hosts (noch mal danke Andreas!) the twenty km drive to my assignment Erfurt through beautiful countryside was, surprisingly, one of my favourite moments. There is a decent Greek restaurant in a nearby village…
