Came with family to celebrate my son’s 4th birthday. Went to the beach and Sesame Place. Tim and his wife are the nicest hosts! Couldn’t ask for a better view, it was great eating our meals out on patio. He had a great birthday thanks for everything.

It was a pleasure staying at this Ocean Beach gem of a place. The views were amazing, and the apartment was clean and well-furnished. Tim and his wife are lovely people with unbeatable hospitality - they even gave us free zoo tickets! We very much hope to return here in the coming years.

Tim and Kathy have an amazing home and were wonderful hosts! Perfect location, we were able to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet, but also close enough to walk to many shops and restaurants. Thank you for sharing your amazing home with us. We highly recommend this property and hosts.

We absolutely loved our stay in Ocean Beach. The location and views from the property were simply unbeatable. The unit was clean, spacious, and safe. Tim was also very hospitable and gave us plenty of recommendations on where to walk, eat, etc. We were sad when we had to leave, but we hope to return again sometime soon.

We had a fantastic time at this beach getaway! The view is AMAZING! We really enjoyed relaxing on the patio and watching the sunset in the evenings. The location is great. The beach access is right around the corner. The cute little beach town is also just a short walk away. So many restaurant options. Our hosts, Tim & Kathy, were kind, friendly & accommodating. They generously shared tickets to the San Diego Zoo with us, which was a great experience. We look forward to visiting again.

We loved this property! Overlooking the ocean, right on the path to ocean beach and the tide pools. We walked to the Wednesday farmers market, which you don’t want to miss!! I would not hesitate to stay again if we were in the area. Just a brief note that I went to use the washing machine, and there was a lot of mold in the rubber lining of the door that I cleaned out. Does not change my opinion of the place at all though. It was wonderful.

This was a little diamond discovery. The view and sound of the ocean was so beautiful and amazing. Tim and Kathy have a great apartment and I am looking forward to returning again one day.

Tim met us upon arrival and made for a very easy check in. The description of the property is exactly as described. The views are unbeatable and it was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city at the end of the day. The bed and pull out bed were very comfortable. Tim was very friendly and welcoming. Great, safe location for family.

I recently stayed at this amazing ocean front cottage and I have to say that the views and accommodations were absolutely fantastic. The location is unbeatable, with stunning views of the ocean that are hard to beat. The cottage itself is spacious, clean and well-appointed with everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The owner of the cottage is also incredibly nice and helpful, which made my stay even better. They were always available to answer any questions I had and gave great recommendations for things to see and do in the area. Overall, I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing beachfront vacation. I had an amazing time here and I can't wait to come back again in the future. What an amazing property! The view is stunning. The location is pretty convenient and is in walking distance to several great restaurants and shops. The owners, Tim and Kathy, were so sweet and went above and beyond.

We enjoyed a relaxing few days in this wonderful location with a beautiful view of the ocean. Tim was so helpful in sharing places we might like to walk to from the property. We really enjoyed the walk to Sunset Cliffs Park. And it was easy trip to La Jolla or into San Diego. The place was clean and tidy.

I honestly can’t even put into words how beautiful the views are from the back deck of this property. It feels like you’re in another world. Walking into town only takes a few short minutes and you have so many options for food/drinks/shopping. Tim and Kathy are the absolute sweetest couple and will go above and beyond to ensure you have a relaxing stay. Their kindness knows no bounds and I look forward to staying here again! :)

Spent a week here with my daughter. We are from San Francisco and wanted a beach get away. This apartment was PERFECT. Amazing view!!!! Great balcony over the ocean. Great experience all around. I can’t wait to come back!!!!

Have your dinner on the deck and enjoy an ocean view sunset. The setting is beautiful and tranquil. Tim is a lovely host and a sweetheart. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The property is in a great location, walking distance to many things. The host has provided beach ties for use, which was awesome. The view is amazing! The apartment itself is small and it was a bit tight for a family of 4, but it worked just fine and fit our needs for a shorter trip. Really enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend!

Overall, we were very pleased with our stay at Tim's place in Ocean Beach. The home is as advertised, as close to the water as you can get! The property itself was in good condition and the community felt safe and inviting. Walking distance to restaurants, beach, tide pools. etc. Having parking was key and it always felt safe and protected. Kitchen was very well stocked, far beyond what you typically see in a rental property. Beds were fine. The only issue we experienced was that the lack of air conditioning made a few of the August afternoons unbearable. San Diego was dealing with unseasonable humidity, but with climate change, it is an issue to be aware of, particularly if you're the sort of person who normally keeps their AC at 68! I might also recommend packing your own beach towels, but that's definitely me stretching to find something to balance the review. Overall, I would recommend the property without hesitation, with the caveat that folks sensitive to heat or who really value AC may have some issues in August.

Tim & Kathy are wonderful hosts! Property is in a great spot with lots of amenities. My kids loved the easy walk to the beach, and my husband and I enjoyed sunsets on the deck.

We had wonderful weather and our apartment was very nice with a even better view. The furniture is antique style but goes with the place. The balcony is a good size. To access the apartment you have to climb a couple stairs. We had good communication with Tim and Katy. The owners live on the same property. You can not access the ocean from your apartment, the beach is about 10 minutes walk. We had a wonderful time and Tim and Katy took us to the Zoo and we were introduced like their guests . Very small apartment.Thank you for being a good host
