The room was clean, well-appointed and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would consider staying again when in Newport

The room was lovely ,large like i am used to.
Sadly i had hardly any sleep due to a huge very loud argument that went on endlessly right outside of the hotel between about three young males. Not sure if they were staying at Charters or not but they were right outside .I managed to get to sleep at about 4am.
I normally have no complaints at all wherever i stay and this was unfortunate. I am sure that other hotel residents must of been interrupted by this situation too.

Great location to explore the island room was clean tidy and modern! The Thai restaurant downstairs is a must with kind friendly staff

The location is perfect, just in the city centre.
Both the room and the bathroom are big and nicely decorated.
The bed was uncomfortable, with a very soft mattress.
The bath tub was too high, not easy to get in.
Our room had a portable A/C, but no good natural ventilation as the window could not be properly opened.
Only winter duvets were available even if we stayed here in August.
