Privacy is paramount here, surrounded by 82 acres of partially wooded land, offering endless opportunities for hiking, fishing, hunting, and exploration. Immerse yourself in nature's wonders as you fish in our two stocked ponds, complete with a rowboat and two stand-up paddle boards! Don't miss the awe-inspiring view of sunrise or sunset from the hill behind the house - an experience you won't forget! We recommend wearing long pants on the trails to navigate the tall grass. While the property suffered tornado damage in May 2019, it’s a nature lover's paradise. Discover an extensive network of trails throughout the land, with the ridges boasting stunning panoramic vistas that stretch for miles. Birdwatchers will be in heaven as well! Inside, you'll find a haven of comfort and luxury. The Place features a true chef's kitchen, complete with a spacious island, where culinary delights can come to life. Enjoy leisurely evenings playing billiards in the game room or unwind in the cozy loft area, equipped with a generous sofa. Indulge in the seamless harmony of indoor and outdoor living as you relax in the great room or on the massive wraparound deck, furnished with comfortable seating and a gourmet gas grill. Downstairs you’ll find the fully decked-out game room with a big-screen Roku TV with ample seating, a card table, games, and a full-size billiard table! We take pride in providing some of the best-stocked cabins in Hocking Hills! No need to bring essentials like linens, towels, toilet paper, and paper towels (1 roll provided). Stay connected with high-speed Starlink internet, ideal for streaming and online activities, but be mindful of bandwidth if multiple users are streaming simultaneously. We've also curated a vast collection of games and movies for your entertainment. It is a satellite connection so 100% connectivity cannot be guaranteed, but it is generally quite reliable. This is the second property of Red Oak Retreats that we have stayed at now. The house was very nice. A lot of cabins/ houses that you rent dont have enough living space for the amount of people they sleep, but this house had tons of living space. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and even had most the spices you would need to cook a meal.
The only complaint we had was that the beds were lacking in the pillow and blanet department. All the beds had 1 small/ flat pillow.

We just spent 3 nights at this home and had a wonderful time! Grandparents, Children, Grandchildren and 2 dogs. The description of VRBO didn't really due it justice. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could ever need. The house was clean when we arrived and there were so many little "spaces" to sit, read, play games or play pool. Everyone had a great time. We all talked about going back in the summer to enjoy the huge deck.!! Thank you so much for having such a wonderful place at a reasonable price. We hope to return!! 9 of us between 3 and 80 and our dog stayed at this home over the weekend. Very nice home with lots of great amenities! The property was clean, big, easy to get too and had a neat story behind it. Though we didnt catch any fish the ponds were nice and the paddle boards were fun. The home itself was close to hiking and had everything from games to spices and even extra coffee and TP! Beds were comfy and really enjoyed the arrangement, earlier risers or late nighters could be up enjoying themselves while not waking others. Only two minor things I'd recommended is to get a Tv in the loft(not that we watched much tv but would have been nice to have 2 for when it rained) and to move the creepy silver Nissan truck. Kind of spooked some while there. Thanks so much! Best all around place weve stayed over 4 trips to the hocking area. Would book again!

We absolutely loved your space. You supplied 98% of what we needed. Your communication was superb. We enjoyed reading your store and thank you for sharing it with us. The only thing that I would suggest is some sort of reflector system when heading toward the pond. I had visions of guest driving right into it 😱. But I rate our stay 10/10

This house was absolutely perfect for our fall trip. We hiked, fished, had a fire and took the boat out on the pond. The house had everything that we needed. It is at the end of a lane and is very secluded which was perfect for us. Our girls were able to learn how to split fire wood. I would highly recommend this house to anyone who just wants to get away. There is no cell phone service so make sure you screenshot or memorize the code before getting to the house. We didnt have any issues with wifi while we were there.

Location and the seclusion of property was great, lots of amenities. There are some cleaning and maintenance issues that I informed thw property management about. Although one does not go to watch TV, more than 1 would be nice!

Yearly trip with friends from high school. We enjoyed the property and the house. Well stocked pantry of spices for cooking and plenty of cooking utensils.
The house and property are very nice and well cared for. Could've used a few more towels, there were none in the bin marked "towels for hot tub". The owner and property manager kept in touch and asked how things were through out the trip. All in all we had a great time and may consider visiting this property again.

House was perfect for what we needed. The pond right off the deck made for some wonderfully convenient fishing. Great fire pit and big hot tub. Big grill with natural gas. This ticked all the boxes for us. Nice clean house and friendly responsive owners/managers. No problems finding the place. We have zero complaints about our experience. We would definitely stay here again.

When you removed the trash liners the trash cans were very dirty inside. They need to be cleaned still. We had to clean the counter tops when we arrived. Everything is nice the cleaning crew needs to be checked on. It’s to nice of a place to be discouraged because the cleaning crew are cutting corners to just get the job done! The owner is amazing.

Our ages ranged from 92 to 3 years. We had a wonderful time. We loved the seclusion. So very quiet.The kids loved the pond and hot tub. Even the 69 year old grandma(me) got in the pond on the paddle boards. We wish we could have stayed longer. Most of our time was spent on the property with just one day away for a hike at Ash Cave,some zip-lining, and a short visit to the glass blowing place.I would recommend it to any one who likes peace and quiet.

Peaceful. Secluded. Quiet. Great house and property. Fairly close to Hocking Hills attractions. Plenty of room. Well stocked and nicely furnished. Fishing right off the porch. Just needs a few finishing touches to go up a level. Wish there would have been a way to turn off the outside lighting so we could have gotten the full impact of the nightime sky!

I loved that my little dog could run and that my kids stayed off their electronics. The kitchen has everything you would need and there was plenty of linens. The owners provided great comunication and directions. We took advantage of some perfect scenery for some very overdue family photos. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

The view with the water was a perfect backdrop for a beautiful ceremony and dinner on the deck where we comfortably served about 25 people. We were able to get so many great photos! All of our guests loved it and the setting created such an intimate & relaxed vibe while still feeling a little fancy with some added wedding decorations and there were already so many resources available at the cabin that made pulling evening together so much easier on us. The property owners & manager were so kind and they all went above and beyond to make our trip as great as possible. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and are looking forward to coming back!
