Located in Newbury, this attractive house for $896 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Situated less than 15 minutes to Mount and Lake Sunapee, in the middle of 3 crystal clear lakes, this Grand Victorian Inn was fully restored and updated in 2014-2015. Built in 1897 as an Inn, and continuing in that function today, this property has 8 bedrooms and 8 1/2 bathrooms, a gazebo porch, kitchen porch, 20 x 40 back deck, picturesque grounds with annual and perennial gardens, outdoor wood fire pit, and a wildlife pond. The property exudes the charm and character of the Victorian era, yet has been fully updated with satellite TV, sports packages, high speed internet, and a cell phone booster to keep you connected. The first floor has a large well appointed bedroom with a King Bed, Gas fireplace, and full bath with shower and soaking tub. The second floor has 5 individually appointed bedrooms, all with queen beds, private baths with hairdryers, and views of the grounds and pond. The two bedrooms on the third floor are perfect for teens, one with two twins, one with a queen and twin day bed and trundle, both with private baths and gas fireplaces. The foyer entry leads to a pocket door parlor with the original Victorian Rumford wood fireplace updated with a gas fireplace insert, comfortable furniture and entertainment center. The updated kitchen features stainless steel appliances, including two 5 burner gas ranges with 2 ovens, griddle top, two full size sinks, dishwasher, and large French door refrigerator. The formal dining room with an Austrian crystal chandelier seats 6 and the adjoining sun room seats an additional 12. The sun room has a gas fireplace and a 52 inch satellite TV, perfect for family movie night or game night. This is an ideal setting for weddings, rehearsal dinners, family reunions, multi-family adventures, or multi-couple getaways. We do allow events at our Inn on a case by case basis and we will help with planning. An event fee is added per event size. The owners are on property premises, in separate quarters, to be available for guests questions and needs, and to oversee operation of this historical property.

Communication with property managers before our stay was excellent. We booked this property for our family Christmas getaway and my 4 year old granddaughter wanted to know how Santa would find her and was there going to be a tree for Santa to place her gifts under. Joe & Sally (property managers) reassured us that there were 2 indoor trees and one on the porch for reindeer food to be placed. This is a beautiful Victorian home, on a very quiet road with plenty of back yard space for a game of two hand touch football. Rooms were decorated appropriately to home and little quaint spaces reminded me of my childhood at Grandmas house. 14 adults, 3 children under 4 and two dogs stayed here without any incidents or complaints. We have definitely found a beautiful getaway home in NH and will book again and again.

We had a local wedding to attend and were very pleased with the inn. Check in was easy and we were greeted by the owners. The rooms were comfortable and we enjoyed the outside sitting area as well. Overall is was a great place to stay for a weekend.

We stayed there with family and friends and it was great. The rooms are spacious and the fact that each has its own bathroom is exceptional. The kitchen is large and super well equipped. The dinning room and deck (with medium-sized BBQ) can comfortably host 10-15 people at time. The hosts are amazing. We will definitely be coming back. What a gem!

Joseph and Sally were wonderful hosts and their place had everything we needed and more! The deck and porches provided ample outdoor seating for our large group, and the frog pond and gardens were delightful. It rained a lot, but we made the best of it with 2 games often going at once with still enough space for members of our group to nap or get some quiet time, no problem. A great home for a large group. Two sinks in the kitchen was an appreciated bonus! Joseph was friendly and responsive. The town’s fireworks display was an unexpected surprise! We all had a lovely time.

With a large Living room, a fantastic backyard-facing fully windowed sitting room, and fully stocked kitchen, our friendgroup had a wonderful weekend hanging out together. The bedrooms were nicely appointed and very comfortable. We plan to return next year!

We had a great long weekend staying at this beautiful property. A group of families with kids ranging 9-15 all had a wonderful time exploring the historical home, skiing and sledding on the back hill.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Inn. The first was with our friends and this past visit was with my cousins. My cousins loved it. Joe and Sally were super helpful. The Inn is clean and very conducive for large groups. We will definitely stay there again.

The size of home is hard to beat, with private bathrooms for all bedrooms and ample common spaces on the first floor, along with a well sized kitchen that accommodated us all. Great for our large family gathering and just a short drive to Sunapee Mountain.

Our extended family recently spent a long weekend at the Bradford Village Inn. We had a wonderful time; it is the perfect setting for a family reunion. We were particularly grateful for the ample kitchen facilities (2 stoves , a very large refrigerator, and lots of counter space) and the multiple gathering spaces on the first floor. During the day, we had room for games, puzzles, and quiet reading. In the evening, all 17 of us could sit down for dinner. The second-floor bedrooms are spacious and quiet. The third floor bedrooms are a little more basic, but served us well. The owners, Joe and Sally, were attentive and helpful whenever we had questions, but the inn felt very private…as if we were gathered at a large family home.

We arrived, with snow falling and lights twinkling at the Inn and were met by Joe and Sally.
Joe patiently explained the heating system so everyone would be warm enough, and left us to a wonderful few days of family time. We were toasty throughout our stay.
A great place for many generations to gather and celebrate while at the same time having plenty of diverse activities near by.

We had a family wedding nearby. We had a bedroom for every couple - a bathroom for every couple! We made breakfast before the wedding. in the FABULOUS kitchen and dinner on the off night. All 14 of us had a great time and really enjoyed the Inn and the hikes in the area.
Highly recommend if you want to get away with a large group - this is the place!

The ground and house is great. We all had such a great time and will definitely be back when we are up this way again. Several of the bedrooms have a private bath and the 3rd floor is perfect for the kiddos! Also, nearby Casino Beach is great! (food and kayaks available and not as busy as Sunapee). had wonderful personal space ( rooms were great and comfy) with fabulous large areas for meals and games. Magnificent kitchen although we didn't really cook much. Staff close on site and readily available to assist with any needs. 5 STAR experience. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at this homey location. We had a large group and there was plenty of space for all of us. Joe and Sally were very hospitable and made sure to show us around the house to make sure we knew where certain things were. They even gave us some of their tomatoes, which we used right away to make our dinner. This location is also very near to many hiking trails. We will definitely return if we get the chance!

Our large group was initially drawn to this listing because of how many bedrooms are available. With 16 adults, 4 children and 4 infants it was ideal that each family had their own room. Once we arrived at the property, we knew it was a great choice. The inn is beautifully maintained with plenty of space to spread out, even with our large group and Joe and Sally were fantastic hosts, addressing any needs that came up during our stay. The ample outdoor space provided an area for the children to run around and babies to play. We would definitely consider renting the Bedford Village Inn again for future trips and so should you!
