Located in Acadia National Park, this attractive house for $295 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Three Bedroom home in the heart of Bar Harbor walking distance to all that Bar Harbor has to offer. The street situated right at the edge of Acadia National Park- get on your bike and take in the breathtaking views around park loop or just take a short walk and get a home made ice cream cone at Mount Desert Ice Cream, Walk to the Village Green and take in an art show or enjoy a concert from the Bar Harbor Town Band, or walk to the Reel Pizza to enjoy watching a movie and eating a delicious pizza. The home is on an extra large lot so you can enjoy a cooking smores on cool evening or play catch with your kids. All three bedrooms are situated on the top floor and each have a TV. The Master has a king size bed and the two other rooms have twin with a trundles underneath for an extra person. The kitchen is eat in and has recently been updated with stainless steel appliances and new wood floors. The living room is tastefully appointed with a fireplace and a pull out queen size couch. Enjoy all that Maine has to offer in your in-town rental giving you easy access to everything you may need.

My husband and I enjoyed our visit to Bar Harbor, ME and we equally enjoyed our stay with "In the Heart of the Village". The location to the village was ideal and we walked to all of the shops, restaurants, and sites very easily. It was a very busy time in Bar Harbor and parking at times was impossible. The homes location allowed us to come and go freely. Meghan was lovely to work with and we would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Megan's home in Bar Harbor. The house was cozy with plenty of room and a great location for walking to downtown shops/restaurants/sights. The kitchen was well stocked for dinners in and there was ample extra bedding for all bedrooms. The check in/check out process was so simple and easy. We did have one issue come up and Megan was very responsive and resolved to our satisfaction. Would highly recommend!

My family of 4 (2 kids under 5) had a great weekend in Bar Harbor. The house has two cute bedroom. S, perfect for kids or teens, and a master with a comfortable King. The kids loved the yard. Walking distance (for the kids too) to main street and all the restaurants, cafes and shops that Bar Harbor has to offer.
Kids especially loved excursions to Acadia, Southwest Harbor, and other small towns within 30min drive.
Communication with owner was great. Absolutely recommend this house to anyone wanting an in-town (quiet off mainstreet) location (private driveway parking) with access to all bar harbor and MDI. We will definitely return when we come back to MDI.

We had a wonderful weekend at Megan’s beautiful home. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds very comfortable. We loved coming together as a family around the firepit each evening. We also loved that the house was in easy walking distance to main street and hiking trails. We can’t wait to return!

House is just a short walk to Bar Harbor downtown as mentioned when I spoke to Megan. Also close to Acadia NP. House was clean and enjoyed the nostalgic touches to the home. If we are in Bar Harbor again would definitely stay there again. Megan was wonderful to deal with and would highly recommend the house and her as a host.

It was our first time visiting the Bar Harbor/Acadia area and the cottage was a great location to enjoy all of what the area had to offer. Great restaurants, shopping, beautiful scenery and outdoor activity was all in close proximity. We traveled as a family of 5 and the cottage was comfortable for all.

We loved the house. It has all the New England charm you would expect for Maine house. Front farmers porch, white picket fence, and well decorated inside. The first floor accommodated all of our needs. Master bedroom has large comfy bed. Our daughters each took one of the twin bedrooms. My son slept on futon where you enter home. Close to downtown& walkable . Close to Acadia and Cadillac Mountain entrance.

The location is perfect! In town yet quiet and private. The home was fully equipped and allowed for all cooking needs. We had 3 days of rain but there was so much to do here. We enjoyed the cozy warmth of the fireplace on chilly evenings. We'll be back in 2023!!! Thank you for an awesome time!

My husband and I just spent 3 nights at this cute house in Bar Harbor. It was a quiet area despite being just a short walk to the main road where there were wonderful restaurants and shops. The house had everything we needed to do a little cooking, relaxing and sleeping. It was very comfortable. We also could hike to Arcadia easily from there as well. I would highly recommend this VRBO

This house has a great location on a quiet street just a few blocks from Main Street and the Village Green, so easy walking distance to restaurants and shops, and it's just a 10-15 minute drive from the closer Acadia venues, including Sand Beach, Cadillac Mountain and Jordan Pond. The house has the feel of an early 20th century house with more recent updates. It's also much bigger than it appears on the website -- it's a full two-story house with a porch, sitting room and large yard. Perfect for a family of four.

Clean, comfy cottage!
Loved the cottage! Location is awesome and the yard is fabulous. Well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds and washer/dryer are very convenient. You do need a permit for a fire in the pit and the front porch is inaccessible from the house. I wish we could have used the front door to sit on the porch, but it’s permanently locked as it is old. Overall, a great stay!!!

This is a charming Bar Harbor home! With plenty of space to spread out and all the amenities you need, this is the perfect place to stay. In only a few minutes you'll be downtown or have easy access to Acadia National Park. This will be my go-to place for any future stays in Bar Harbor.

The house makes it so easy to walk to everything in Bar Harbor. This is a huge plus when dealing with summer crowds so that you don't have to fight with parking. We also enjoyed mornings on the porch with coffee and appreciated how peaceful the neighborhood was.

Short Girls Weekend in Maine
We had a very nice time for our girls weekend. There were three adults so we were able to enjoy the house comfortably, if there was a larger group or you needed to spend more time indoors - the indoor "gather space"/family room might be a bit cramped. The yard was really nice - we didn't utilize the fire pit, but wonderful option to have. Easy walk to Bar Harbor (and the wonderful Reel Pizza). Also bonus - they had a step for the king bed which is a taller (excellent help for us vertically challenged). Overall good value and location.
