Located in Orange Beach, this charming condo for $350 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. About our Condo--Grand Pointe is a beachfront property!...From our unit, we named it “Sandy Seagull” you will breathe in the spectacular, panoramic views of three bodies of water, the Gulf of Mexico, Perdido Pass, Perdido Bay, and Ole River from our long covered porch accessed from the living room AND master bedroom...There is something for everyone in this large and airy upscale, modern, sunny, cheerful, condo with views of constant sailboat, fishing yachts, and gulf birds flying by. You can lie in bed with your coffee and delight in the water splendor! We especially like our view of the beachfront state park across the bridge--beautiful to see in its natural state--just dunes, sea oats, and the gulf--it looks islandish. The light hitting the water makes everything look turquoise. Our upper floor unit, convenient elevator access, features granite countertops, 9 foot ceilings, crown molding, ceiling fans, wet bar, jacuzzi tub in MBR and MBr walk in closet to make this your beach home away from home! Decorated in pottery barn style beach and nautical theme you'll love our unit at Grand Pointe, a unique gulf front gated property situated on 8 sandy white BEACHFRONT private acres. Bring your 'fishing pole and fish from the rocks or the sea wall just below our condo. So convenient to the jetties (rock outcroppings) right below our condo---it's considered one of the most desirable areas for salt water fishing on the east Perdido Pass side. Some people scuba dive right outside our balcony! Walk to the beach through the dunes/sea oats on Grand Pointe's convenient boardwalk, enjoy the two pools one in (heated)and one out, and the two heated hot tubs, in and out. Fine dining and shopping across the street at San Roc Cay--have an afternoon massage there, book a fishing trip, go next door for a drink/dinner and enjoy the piano bar lounge at the Perdido Grand Resort. Don't forget to visit the famous Flora Bama lounge a hit with the younger crowd located two miles down the highway. You'll love it here as much as we do. lots to do and see, or just relax with a good book and stay beach or poolside!... Common areas include two pools and two hot tubs. For safety and security there are security cameras located in these common areas. No Smoking, No pets. Most asked questions 1. What are the additional charges?... Yes. There is a cleaning fee. The second guest room has a queen size bed and full size adjoining bath with a tub and shower. The third guest room features twin beds with it's own bathroom with tub/shower. Also TV. The living room has a queen size sleeper sofa and TV, the complete kitchen features all major and small appliances, silverware, and dishes. Wet bar, full size washer and dryer, iron and board, and vacuum. The indoor heated pool area has huge glass windows that allow you to view the Perdido Pass channel/waterway to the Gulf and also the HUGE outdoor pool with large tanning area. Loved our stay. We have two kids under two and the indoor pool was perfect for keeping our toddler entertained. Having an extra pack and play in the condo was a great accommodation for families. Would definitely stay again.

This was a perfect location for our 4 night/5 day stay. The check in process was easy. The condo was clean and as advertised. We enjoyed seeing the dolphins swim in the pass each morning. We loved seeing the pelicans, herons, and ospreys fly by. The beach access was great and wasn't too busy. Our family had an amazing time. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us!

Very impressed with the cleanliness and the decor was updated and fresh. We particularly enjoyed having the ice maker in the condo. Plenty of supplies and large capacity washer and dryer. Large balcony fully furnished with nice furniture. My husband loved watching the boats come out each morning! Great time!

This was an excellent location. Having the last building on the beach made it extremely private and peaceful. Watching the boats come through Perdido Pass was entertaining. We spent the majority of our vacation out on the awesome balcony. The view of the Pass, the beach across the water, the waves breaking on the jetty, the ocean kissing the sandy shore, the stars filling the night sky. It was perfect. The jacuzzi tub and shower in the master was nice. Beds all comfy. Beautiful condo. Would definitely stay again.

Great tucked away location at the pass. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the beautiful blue waters and all of the boats passing by. Being at the pass puts you really close to the water for a wonderful private view. The condo was well stocked and decorated nicely. In addition, communication with the owner was quick and easy. We never had to wait long for a reply.

Everything was as expected. The condo has a great layout. We loved the outside pool and hot tub. Loved the boardwalk that led to the beach. Loved the morning sunrise shining in! The condo itself was located in a great location and had a fabulous view of the water from the deck. There was a nice beach behind the building and one unbroken beach chair in the condo. However, there were lounge chairs that could be rented on the beach. If you're expecting an outdoor pool and/or hot tub, look elsewhere. Neither were filled, and had not been for several months according to the locals to whom we spoke. Had we known this, we would have chosen a different location.
There were three bedrooms, each with an attached bathroom and two with TV's. For the most part, the beds were comfortable, although one of the people in the master reported feeling like she was going to roll out.
The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes/ cookwear/ towels, but we had to finagle the freezer to get some ice. There was a set of towels in every bathroom, but no beach towels. There was plenty of seating for everyone in the living room, kitchen, and on the deck.
Although John answered all of our questions fairly quickly, we did not feel he was the Superhost we have experienced elsewhere. If we had not asked a few questions, John would not have even known whether or not we had arrived. After a two-day drive from up north, it would have been nice to be welcomed with something other than a Walmart run to get dishwasher detergent, coffee, and extra toilet paper. There was no welcome book, no recommendations for local restaurants, and no journal even though we were instructed to write in one.
In summary, the condo served as a great place to sleep, and we greatly appreciate John sharing his condo with us, but with so many other options in the area, we cannot say we would return.

Over all impression was good. Need better blinds in Master Bedroom and living room and the sun was very bright coming in. Lots of construction going on that we were not aware of when booking. Outdoor pool and outdoor hot tube was under construction. Would have liked to have a TV in all 3 bedrooms. Overall very pleased.

We had a wonderful time on vacation. Owner very easy to work with. Condo is very clean, perfect location. Right on the beach, indoor/outdoor pool options, and the view from this condo is breathtaking. We will certainly be back.

Grand Pointe is the Best!
We have stayed several times at Grand Pointe. We never want to stay anywhere else. It is the last condo before Perdido Pass, so it is not crowded on the beach. The best part is the large balcony! It faces Perdido Pass and you can watch the fishing boats going back and forth. (You can also see the ocean from the balcony.) And you can see the most amazing sunrises every morning! The balcony furniture is strong and sturdy and plenty for everyone to have a seat.
The condo itself is large with 3 bedrooms and each bedroom has its own bathroom. The kitchen is very nice and updated with any type of utensil you would need including a large ice maker so we never ran out of ice. There is an assortment of toys and games that the kids enjoyed playing with.
John was easy to work with and his responses were prompt. We would recommend this condo!

A Perfect View!!
We enjoyed our stay but the VIEW was top on my list!! Not only could you see the ocean but watching all the boats passing through the channel was a bonus! Getting to the beach is a little longer walk than most complexes but it was well worth it especially since it wasn’t as crowded as other locations along the beach as being the last complex at the point!
John was great to work with and the condo had everything we needed….When going back to Orange Beach I would definitely stay here again!

Spacious; all bedrooms have their own bathrooms; kitchen is well stocked; beds comfy, and last but not least, the balcony is the best place in the condo!! Great to watch boats at the pass or dolphins playing in the water! Beach was never crowded; there are some beach items in the unit for use (chairs, umbrella, boogie boards) and chairs readily available for rent on the beach. Every aspect of rental from booking to check out was seamless. Owner is very quick to respond to questions and is very helpful. Even went the extra mile to mail an item to us that we forgot! Wow! We hope to return at some point and hope this unit is available when we do! We had a wonderful time! You won’t go wrong if you rent from John!

Great property, poor construction timing!
The condo was great, and in a great location!! Great host, and town. Only bad thing was the entire outside is being remodeled and caused the pool to be closed outside, and construction began with loud noises between 6-7 AM. This should have been schedule for the off season. I would go back as long as there was no construction though!
