About this cabin rental
Nestled in Casa De Oro-Mount, this lovely cabin for $132 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. We just Renovated the Cabin and added New Kitchen and Attached Bathroom. Our area is very serene and quiet. Many animals are around in the neighborhood. Inside the cabin you will feel very peaceful and cozy. We are on the foothills of Mt. Helix, a very great area. For your convenience, there is a Samsung 48" Flat Screen LED Smart TV You can even log into Netflix account if you want and watch your favorite TV shows and movies. The cottage has a queen bed and a futon that becomes a bed for the third person. If necessary, For your convenience, we are providing a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. You can cook your own food if you like, There is hot plate and cooking utensils for your convenience. There is a Jacuzzi in the backyard which you can use till 9 pm. We live next door, so if you have questions or concerns, you can easily let us know. The cabin has coffee, creamer, and sugar. Airport is only 13 miles from this location and downtown is 11 miles. Pacific Beach is 18 miles. Most beaches are less than 20 miles away. Famous attractions such as the San Diego Zoo is only 11 miles away. SeaWorld is only 17 miles away. LEGOLAND and San Diego Safari Park are only 35 miles away. This neighborhood is established and old. Near to the highway but very secluded. The bus stop and trolley are very close. Grocery and shopping is 5 minutes away, walkable. The freeways are nearby and are easy to access. The freeway straight to Downtown SD is down the street.

Futon that makes into bed horrible to sleep on, bought an air mattress to put on top the second night.
Window sill ledges dirty and place needs an overall dusting under the bed and throughout the house

My sisters and I had a great start at this cabin. It was cuter than the pictures and we loved the succulents and trees (including a pomegranate!) In the yard. The kitchen was stocked with everything, even an air fryer (although we didn't need that). I only wish we had fewer family obligations and could have enjoyed the hot tub more.

We had a short stay here. The cottage was very clean and the hosts were very accommodating. Perfect location for all our sightseeing needs. The hot tub was a welcoming sight after walking around all day.

Cute cabin
This is a great place to stay if you will be on the go. It’s convenient to the highways and stores etc. There is a fridge and microwave. The bathroom was very close and clean, just not fancy. The dirt driveway transition to the street damaged my rentals bumper, so definitely be on the lookout for that.

It was easy to come and go. Lots of privacy so you didn't disturb homeowners as you were doing tourist sights.

Our stay was short and sweet - only two days but we really enjoyed it. The cabin was very simple but had everything we needed and it was also super clean. At first glance it may seem small but it actually has a lot of space. Communication with our host was also super easy. I would definitely stay here again. :)

Rural relaxation convenient to downtown San Diego
This is a secluded, cozy spot within 15 minutes of downtown San Diego. Nice place to unwind with a helpful and easy-to-reach host. The stay was a pleasure. Air conditioning works great, Netflix is a nice option, too!

We stayed at the cottage for 6 nights. Very quiet and peaceful. Had everything we needed. Hot tub available if you desire. Bathhouse clean and equipped. We will stay there again if the future allows. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Perfect!
Our stay was magical! The cabin was perfect! I loved that we had access to all the fun things the owner offered! He ever offered to help me set up the campfire one of the evenings we were there. He is very responsive and answered all of my questions. I will 100% choose this property again.

Great getaway!
We had everything we needed! The house was super clean and neat, as were the bathroom and shower. Having to walk to the bathrooms wasn't an issue at all. The host was very helpful and courteous. Highly recommended!

A tranquil, centrally located but hidden little place
We were looking for a place close to my son's home. We found this little inexpensive cabin , centrally located but yet secluded, with lots of vegetation that gave coolness and tranquility. The owner was very friendly , accommodated our needs and answered questions promptly. The shower and bathroom were a short walking distance but we did not mind. We had no problem with the internet and had free Netflix. We very much enjoyed the jacuzzi. The dirt driveway was a little hard to get into due to being off a curved road and hard to see traffic (which is rare on that road) but we didn't mind. Definatelly would stay there again!

The room is quiet and clean and my host is friendly and pretty easy to talk! Highly recommend!

Nice little cabin
The cabin was very nice and the bed was comfortable. The TV was also nice. Didn't mind the short walk to the bathroom and shower because the shower and bathroom were very nice. The driveway needs work though and almost damaged my car every time we left. It was also tough to find even with directions. At night you can barely see the small driveway leading to the property. Quiet and no one bothered us.
