Mountain Views: Freshly renovated, quiet and spacious studio loft in private neighborhood. Close to coffee shops, grocery stores, and quick access to major highways. 500 sqft open concept. Laundry, Fast Internet, Cable TV and streaming services. Additionally, if you like oranges and avocados we grow them on the property (Seasonal of course). We also have a chicken coop and fresh eggs on request. Security Deposit Hold and Signed Short-term Rental Agreement Required as we live on the property.

We were a family of 4 and we were very comfortable. The kitchen is amazing, is a full stove and huge microwave with a large refrigerator. The washer and dryer came super handy.
The views in the morning are amazing, it has some of the best views I have seen in San Diego. It has windows in every angle.
Close enough to everything (20 mins to any attraction). If you are looking for a great place to retreat after a long day of sightseeing, this is the place!!!!
The supermarket (VONS) is about a mile away.
Extremely quiet and it has a super cute hang out place that makes you feel like you are in a cabin up in the mountains somewhere remote, but you are not.
Josh was the most attentive host we’ve ever deal in a rental…amazing place.

I cant even say the right words to do justice about my stay. The place was spotless...it had plenty of everything you can think of...and Josh is the host with the most. He was very considerate of timing of my arrival offering to turn on lights if after dark, he checked in to see if i needed anything and the best part is he loaded me up with avocados and pomegranates to take home. I will absolutely book again...thank so much for a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this mountain location. A beautiful view on three sides of our room. Very clean, very quiet. Our small dog loved it, she was very content. It was equipped with everything that is needed, just like our home. The location was a bit hard to find at first but very secure. We would recommend this place to anyone. The owners are very kind and cordial.Kudos to them.

The studio was perfect for our family of four. Everything was perfectly clean and exactly as the listing says. The beds were comfortable as well. We absolutely loved the view out all the windows overlooking the city.

We loved everything about our stay. Great communication from the moment we made our reservation through our time there. Loved the quaintness and charm of the location and it was the perfect home base for a weekend of baseball and exploring the San Diego coastline. It had everything we needed. Would recommend/stay there again.

Came to Hilltop with my two kids to visit family. If I had to sum up my experience in one statement, it would be a peaceful getaway. Plenty of room, very clean, and the views are unmatched. Kids thoroughly enjoyed their time, and I couldn’t be happier. Oh, and did I mention you are 5 minutes from all amenities in El Cajon or Ranch San Diego? Best of all worlds. We will be back.

It had literally everything we needed- kitchen stuff, laundry, etc. The bed was comfortable, AC easy to use. We tried Hana Sushi, which the host recommended, and we loved it. Here's a tip if you bring your dog: there's a lot of dogs in the neighborhood that barked at us while walking our dog, but we discovered Wells Park nearby has a few big fenced dog parks and nice little paved path and is only a few minutes drive away.

The only problem I had as a larger-than-average human is the mattress with the slatted base would slide off its supports frequently.

I had an incredible experience staying at this modern, clean, and cozy space on the hill top.
I really enjoyed staying here. It was super easy to book and the owner was very nice and answered all of my questions. It’s newly renovated and has modern and sleek finishes and decorations. The space is very cozy and has an amazing view overlooking the mountains and city. The sunsets are incredible! I enjoyed the quiet afternoons and frequently opened up the windows to let in a nice breeze. This is by far my favorite place I’ve stayed in San Diego, I will be booking here again when I visit in the fall. I highly recommend!
