About this house rental
Nestled in Avon, this charming house for $262 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Relax at BREEZE BAY. . Breeze Bay has 270 feet of water frontage that makes if feel like you are on an island. Enjoy the manicured grassy lawn, 2 outdoor showers with concrete floor, concrete drive, under house entry, locking storage and bulkhead are welcome sights to all guests Bring your boat or water toys and dock right in the backyard! We do have kayaks and a Stand up Paddle board for out guest to enjoy! The ground level offers perfect access to boating, fishing, crabbing, kayaking, kiteboarding, paddleboarding, and windsurfing. The first level entry has a utility area with a washer and dryer, laundry sink and bait fridge. The 2nd living level has 3 bedrooms (queen with small full bath, queen, 2 bunks with full bath), a full bath, in the hallway. All bedrooms have access to 270 degrees of outside decking. The upstairs had a bedroom (king bed with adjacent bath) and the great room is a vacation charmer with tall ceilings, and a full bath. Prepare great meals in the well-equipped kitchen and serve them with panache at the breakfast bar, 8-person dining table, game/card table or out on the water view sundecks. Count on BREEZE BAY to be well and comfortably furnished. All days should end in BREEZE BAY's screened in deck with bubbly hot tub. A 4th level majestic sundeck will satisfy sun lovers. Breeze Bay is a member of the Kinnakeet Pool and Tennis, and pickleball club which gives renters free access to the Kinnakeet pool and tennis. The pool is open Mid May through the beginnig of October, weather permitting. Tennis and pickleball are open all year. Kinnakeet Club is located in Avon, on Hwy 12, about 2 miles from Breeze Bay. Breeze Bay is an updated house which is nicely furnished with leather furniture in the great room. The kitchen is well equipped for large families. A propane grill is a nice amenity for cooking seafood or your favorite cut of meat. Kayaks and a SUP are provided so you can explore the waterways on the unblemished Pamlico Sound. Use our dock to moor your boat up for your stay. Plenty of trailer parking! The beaches on Hatteras Island are among the best in the world. They offer some of the best fishing and surfing on the east coast. Fishermen can try their luck at the famous Cape Point. Surfers can catch the best waves on the east coast at the Cape Hatteras Light House, the famous 'S' turns, or the Frisco Pier. Windsurfers and Kiteboarder can catch the breezes at the famous Canadian Hole, Kite Point, or any of the many unspoiled miles of coastline on Hatteras Island. Saturday to Saturday Rental during prime time- Partial weeks accepted in off season----Bed Linens included in rental. Please bring your own bath and beach towels. All around one of our best stays. Loved the location and the host was very friendly and communicated very well.

Fantastic house for any vacation. It was exactly as described in the site and the amenities were terrific. We spent our time between walking to the beach, kayaking on the sound, and getting a driving permit to go to the beach south of town. One day we chilled out at the pool and tennis club which was very low stress. A daily ritual following beach time was coming back showering outdoors and then hitting the hot tub.
Location is about 2 miles from the center of Avon, but right next to the Sound. The Kayaks, Paddle board were welcome activities. I would recommend this house anyone.
One thing to note is that one of our party did cut her toe on the oyster shells in the sound. Water shoes are recommended.

The house literally has everything you need. The kitchen is stocked so well and literally has everything you need and more. The location and views were amazing. We were very pleased. The owner is so fast in responding and very kind. We are so happy he shared his home with us and if we come back this will be the home we stay in!!

Terrific location for our 3 fishermen...pond, sound and ocean! The teens enjoyed trying out the kayaks in the pond as well. Access to the grill for cooking and hot tub for relaxing was great! Dan was awesome to work with and he quickly answered any questions.

Dan was great to deal with. He was prompt with any questions. Even called me when we were inquiring about check in, and in today's world that goes to say a lot to "talk" to someone :) The house was very clean and cozy! Other house we stayed at had sandy floors and bathrooms not cleaned to our liking upon check in, but not this one. There cleaning is TOP KNOTCH! Plenty of paved parking, and the yard was very well maintained. The dock area and being a corner lot, seemed like a "Hidden Paradise." Beautiful views from all the decks and the dock. It was so nice that no matter what deck you were on, there was seating to just relax and take it all in. The kitchen had anything and everything we needed, and the starter supplies were a nice perk! We will be back Dan!

Well appointed property with ALL the necessary ammenities, comfortable beds, comfortable common area and relaxing views but the HOT TUB made our stay much more relaxing.

We come down to Avon, almost every Thanksgiving and we have stayed at BreezeBay twice now. It is definitely one of our favorites - great space to spread out, kitchen very well stocked, furniture and beds super comfortable, and great communication with host! Especially enjoyed the views from all the decks and the hot tub!

Great House and great location. We could drink coffee and watch the fish jumping in the canal. Close to everything in Avon, beaches stores. Short kayak ride to sound. House had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

We've been traveling from the Rocky Mountain West to the OBX for 15 years (shhhhh... don't tell anyone in the West about the hidden gem of the OBX). This was the first year that we decided to visit in September and stay South in Avon (Hatteras Island). We LOVED the location. We LOVED the beach in September. We LOVED staying on the Sound (normally we stay in Kitty Hawk on the beach road). I highly recommend this home. We will be returning next year.

Both the house and location were great! The house had so many nice features ranging from the multiple decks with great views, the hot tub, kayaks, extra refrigerators, etc. It was sparkling clean when we got there and the communication with Dan was always timely and precise.

The home was a beautiful place for a family trip. The home was very clean and close to the beach. Able to relax at home and tube around sound area if not in mood for beach. Also kayaks available for use. Great location to be able to tour south and north part of outer banks

Be sure to wear water shoes!! A must when in the sound due to oyster shells and things that can severely cut your feet.
You will also want to make sure you bring all towels. Beach, bath, hand, wash cloths and kitchen.

We used the hot tub once but were unable to control the temperature, too hot and had an issue turning it off. But since it was beautiful every day, it was not missed!
Remember when traveling to OBX you may see severe weather forecasted, DO NOT worry, one, it was not correct, two, it lasted just a few minutes or three happened during the night while you slept.
Everything was wonderful and we highly recommend Breeze Bay and Dan the host!

Awesome place to stay to explore the OBX!
We had a blast at Breeze Bay. Everything was top notch. Well stocked kitchen, great beds, kayaks, fishing net, hot tub! The only very slight inconvenience that we knew going in was the lack of towels and bath mats. It’s such a nice thing to have provided when you’re traveling a long distance. Not a big deal but just something to keep in mind! Dan was super easy to communicate with and we didn’t have single problem with the place while there! Thanks for a wonderful time!

Relaxing family time
We were a group of 3 generations and the house was great for us. Rain and wind kept us inside during most of our stay but the living area was great for an infant play-mat to be close by while others enjoyed the large table for playing games. The furniture was comfortable. The outside decks allowed for great views of the sunset and some kite surfers in action. Nice yard for flying a kite too. I can’t say enough good things about communicating with the owner, Dan was awesome. The house is well maintained and kitchen is great. The fridge is big and there is also a mini fridge next it for drinks. The only thing we weren’t prepared for is that the only king bedroom does not have a private bathroom. No big deal to us and the shared bath with the kitchen/living level is right outside the door.

The property and location were perfect!! Fishing right from backyard in morning, Easy walk to the beach in the afternoon, kayaking in the evening, and the most beautiful sunsets from the 4th floor deck every night. Wouldn’t change a thing. We’ll be back!

Fall break getaway
Two of our kids are still in school so for fall break we decided to go to Avon NC and we absolutely loved every minute of it! Very beautiful place to visit!!!

The rental was all that was shown and more. The weather did not cooperate, but we were able to enjoy ourselves anyway. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The location and amenities were great. We will remember this place for the future.
