Desert Hills Lodge

The location and the setting of the lodge is stunning. The view from the very clean and beautiful rooms is exceptional and also the infinity pool offered a breathtaking view of the surrounding desert. We only stayed one night which we regretted. Dinner was served in a nicely decorated room and was delicious.

One of the most amazing hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The views are fabulous, the peaceful surroundings, the room and bathroom is beautiful, the staff is friendly.

This is an exceptional property in every regard. The location is stunning and each chalet has an amazing view. We loved it here. Every detail has been covered and the staff are lovely and welcoming. The dinners are great and there is a good choice for breakfast. Spend two nights here! It’s quite expensive but is small and bijoux.

The pool is too cold. A cover would surely help maintain the heat gained during the day?? No wifi in the rooms either.

The accommodation is beautifully located, and both the breakfast and dinner are very good. Festus is the only person that is very service-oriented and friendly.

Unfortunately, the service is very poor, and the staff’s attitude is largely unmotivated, bordering on rude. The above-average price level is absolutely not reflected in the quality of service provided: the room was not clean, the bed sheets had tears and stains, and the towels were dirty. Despite asking three times for the room to be cleaned again and for these issues to be addressed, nothing was done. The staff even smiled dismissively at our final (resigned) complaint. Broken glass by the pool was also reported but remained there throughout the day without being removed. Instead, the employees appeared to spend their time relaxing together in the shade, which reflected their attitude toward their work. Poor treatment of guests, combined with this level of disrespect, is unacceptable—especially considering the prices being charged. Additional areas for improvement: There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms, the cushions on the outdoor seating furniture were dirty, and the pool was not clean.
