Located in Lake Anna, this charming house for $465 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. **NEW - HI-SPEED COMCAST / XFINITY Internet access is now installed at True Tranquility! That’s right – take advantage of a completely private waterfront Lake Anna setting, with 6 bedrooms, 5.5 baths (3 master suites with private bath, 1 King with private detached full bath, and 2 bedroom suites share a bathroom), a lower-level wet bar with poker table, 65” large screen TV, a full kitchen, and a full bath. Enjoy the gas fire pit on the lower level deck just outside of the bar area and other features. This is a very well stocked modern home that features a large gourmet state-of-the-art main floor kitchen with all of the amenities including granite countertops, a large island, dual sinks, dual ovens, six-burner Jenn-Air gas stovetop, a glass cook surface, dishwasher, Keurig and regular coffee makers, and a super large refrigerator and separate full size freezer to easily hold ALL of your refrigerator/freezer items. If this fabulous kitchen isn’t quite enough for your culinary needs, then enjoy our second full and complete kitchen in the lower level next to the wet bar. If cooking outside is your preference, enjoy your favorites with some great gas grill BBQ’ing using a huge grill on the deck right outside the main floor kitchen door, or if you really want to enjoy the outside with lake shore BBQ’ing, then take advantage of our HUGE charcoal/wood burning ‘Cowboy Cauldron’ for grilling your steaks, chicken, shrimp, hamburgers, hotdogs, veggies, etc. on a cooking surface large enough to feed the masses! The options are endless. You can also enjoy the Cauldron as your lakeside "fire pit" for your evening get-togethers for socializing and making memories! Revel in the peaceful tranquility of the water, watch birds, ducks, and many of the other wonders of nature from the boathouse and deck on the water. There’s also great fishing off the dock...catch bass, catfish, blue gill, etc., clean them on our outdoor filet station and grill your catch on the lakeside cauldron! Enjoy the beautiful water views right on the water from our boathouse. Or read a book, take a nap, or simply relax in the quiet tranquility of nature. Take advantage of the boathouse Tiki-bar complete with refrigerator. Enjoy available kayaks, or bring your boat and dock it at our boathouse for safety and security. Enjoy wireless Internet, play games on the Wii, or watch a show on TV’s located in many areas of the house – don’t forget about sport favorites like College and NFL playoff season, the Super Bowl, March Madness, the Masters, the Kentucky Derby, the World Series, or whatever you prefer. Note that the previously available hot tub referred to in some reviews is no longer available. We are located on the ‘public’ side of Lake Anna, also known as the “cold side” of the lake. This is our second stay at True Tranquility and once again we had a wonderful stay with our extended family to celebrate the holiday. House was large so we could all gather together or have our quiet times. Neighborhood was lovely.

Our family had a wonderful stay at True Tranquility. Each bedroom had its own bath which was really convenient. Short walk to lake through the woods to the dock, they had 3 kayaks and lots of lake toys.

About 200 steps (grandkids counted) through woods to dock and boathouse, both of which were very nice -- loved the fridge/freezer to store popsicles and lunch food down there. Well-stocked kitchen but bring several dish cloths/sponges if you plan to eat in a lot. Only the stormy weather dampened the week's stay. Plenty of entertainment inside: TV, Wii, poker table, a puzzle, books, playing cards, ping pong table in garage, a *few* board games. Comfy furnishings. Owner was responsive to our inquiries.

The house was great! It fit all 12 females very comfortably, which is not easy. We all wished that more time cleaning would have been spent, mainly on the outside, and we do understand pollen and all this time of year, but it was bad enough that we didn't even sit outside. Lake Anna was beautiful and we did spend ALOT of our time at the dock! But all in all a FANTASTIC host and house and we will be back to Lake Anna!

I hosted my sister’s bachelorette party at this incredible home! Everyone was so impressed with the house. The amount of rooms and spacious kitchen and living area fit everyone perfectly! There was so much space. The location is perfect right on the water. Tom was amazing as well. The communication was very quick and he was incredibly helpful and caring. True southern hospitality. I can not say enough great things about Tom and True Tranquility!

True Tranquility and TS Trucks are fantastic
We have been coming to the lake for over a decade. True Tranquility was the cleanest, nicest, and most enjoyable house we have stayed in yet. Tom and Sue Trucks are also the best owners we have worked with yet as well. I can't recommend this property enough.

Great house with a nice boat dock. Owner was fantastic. Enjoyed fishing at the dock, kitchen was great for cooking family dinners. The only downside is the shallow water in the cove for getting the boat in and out.

Fabulous lake getaway
The house was perfect for our group of 12. We really enjoyed kayaking and swimming. Everything was clean and comfortable. Would absolutely recommend!

Great place!
We enjoyed our stay here very much! Plenty of room for our group of 9 adults and 3 children. We had thought the house had better views of the lake based on the pictures in the listing, but there is a short, wooded walk to actually reach the boat house and view the lakefront. Tom was great to work with - timely in his responses and willing to help in any way! We would stay again!

Perfect for our family vacation
We have now rented two of Tom's houses and he is amazing to work with. He is so nice and responsive, it made all of our rental weeks so relaxing. This house was perfect for our family vacation. There was room for everyone and the dock was amazing!

House was big enough for 3 families (12 people ) to have plenty of space to spread out. The lake was perfect for kids and adults to enjoy with very little traffic. Nice to be able to use the boat launch close by and use the lift in the boathouse all week.
The property inside is in need of good deep cleaning as well as the outside of home , decking and boathouse in need of extensive cleaning and TLC . Owner was responsive when issues arose with ceiling leak.
The pathway to the boathouse and lake is all natural terrain in the woods. The cowboy cauldron/ outdoor grill was unusable due to overgrowth of landscape and was filled with stagnant water. The hot tub on property was also not operable for our visit.
The kitchen was spacious to handle multiple chefs and master bedroom /bathroom were HUGE! Overall we enjoyed our week ,nice neighborhood to enjoy morning or evening walks. Would have liked to use the outdoor decking, but too dirty to enjoy!

The property met all of our needs, and it is so helpful to have extra refrigerators when you have a large group. I gave the listing portion only four stars, as it could show more pictures, and say more about the bedroom placement. I had asked for more information, and Tom is very responsive as in all matters. My kids called the one master bedroom a "palace," and insisted we stay there even though originally we were going to stay on the main floor. We fished, skied, wake boarded, kayaked, sunbathed and gamed all week. I mentioned the 4th of July as we were on the dock and a bald eagle flew right toward our dock, and then settled in the tree above the boathouse. That night the cottage across the cove put on their own fireworks show which was amazing. We didn't know about it, but we had missed the general celebration the night before and were down on the dock sporting our red, white and blue. Awesome week!
