This beautiful, dog-friendly home, located on a quiet cove of Lake Anna, will be the perfect place to celebrate your next vacation! Toast the morning sunrise with a steaming mug of coffee at the bar on the large open deck overlooking the lake. You'll love listening to bird songs and perhaps catching glimpses of the Great White Herons and bald eagles along the shoreline or high up in the treetops. The covered porch off the kitchen is a great place to enjoy a light breeze and views of the lake, woods, and the enclosed yard while savoring your breakfast. Plan a “grill master” tournament on the two gas grills then judge the results at the picnic tables by the beach. Challenge your family to a volleyball, horseshoe, and frisbee-golf tournament while your fishing enthusiasts catch fish from the private dock.
Relax in the oversized hammock gently swaying beneath the trees, or sunbathe on the sparkling pink sand on the beach along the shoreline. Watch magnificent wild fuchsia and orange sunsets from the couch on the covered front porch. Smell the honeysuckle at twilight in May as you wander the protected lands next door to view wildlife and catch a glimpse of the clear babbling brook that runs through the woods and marsh area to the lake. Roast marshmallows around the fire ring on the shoreline, and gaze at the stars as the moon rises. This house was beautiful, clean, and well stocked! Every bed was comfortable with an abundance of pillows and blankets. The dock area was well kept and very scenic. So many games and DVDs to be enjoyed as well. Would return!

This house has a lot to offer and, with a bit of attention to its outdoor spaces, could be a perfect vacation rental. The location is truly magnificent, offering beautiful lake views, a sense of privacy, and a quiet atmosphere. The huge, fenced-in yard is a fantastic feature, especially for families with dogs who need a safe place to play. Inside, the house is spacious and well-equipped. It's easily large enough to accommodate a big family, with plenty of cooking supplies and extra blankets. The large kitchen table is perfect for family sit-down dinners, and the pool table provides great entertainment. The living room, while lacking working TV services, has an extensive collection of DVDs and games for a fun family night. This wasn't a problem for us since we brought an Xbox for streaming, but it's worth noting. The main disappointment was the outdoor space. It felt severely neglected and was a complete contrast to the well-maintained interior. The advertised beach was overgrown with weeds and grass. While we had planned on kayaking, the kayaks and paddleboards were old and in poor condition; one kayak was filled with green, mossy water and unusable, and the paddleboards were deflated and unsafe. We had to search for oars for the canoe, and the pedal boat seemed to have been abandoned for years under the dock. The boathouse was in a similar state. The condition of the outdoor space certainly keeps this location from reaching it's full potential.

The house was great and the walk to the lake was short, however the pictures of the sand area were deceiving. The sand had weeds grown up in and and around it. It. Could’ve looked nicer had it been kept up with or raked.
