Absolute star of a host who was great to talk to when we checked in despite Dolly Parton dying that day. Right by the train station, one bus away from a high street, we chatted to the local neighbours and their cats who were cool.
We sourced our own food but honestly it was better that way. Bathroom was shared

The bed was very comfy and it was very clean. Great price.
The shower was terrible. Shower needed descaling so just a bad heavy dribble. Not great. The sink was so small that it was hard to fill the kettle or do anything in it really. There wasn't anyone to check me in when I got there so I had to wait a while while the poor cleaner had to run around trying to sort it out. After a 3.5 HR drive it wasn't ideal.
