Small huts made from natural materials, basic but functional and clean, Wi-fi, small porch to sit outside, calming, beautiful garden, quiet. The most lovingly prepared breakfast you can imagine. The same is true for dinner. Meals are served in a beautiful common room. Great atmosphere.
Recommendation: I took a cooking class with Hera at Dapur Tara, which is an exceptional experience as you learn about traditional foods, methods and kitchen utensils.
A part of your expenses is used to support local women and children.

Everything, lovely get away from it all, nice in nature, and a brilliant starting point to go the the waterfalls.
In the earthquake they have been fantastic, allowing us to stay longer, and making it as lovely as can be. The staff have been so amazing.

We stayed one night. This eco-lodge is a very peaceful setting, surrounded by nature and chilled vibes. We enjoyed the huts which were open at the top of the walls and were grateful for the mosquito nets too. A really lovely experience. Bathrooms were clean. Each hut had an external veranda to relax on. One of our party did the shared cooking experience and loved it. We all enjoyed the meal together.

Hera was lovely and did a really nice job at explaining our food to us. The room was clean and the garden was nice.
Communication could have been better. We arrived and were shown to our room (which didn’t have power) so we just sat in the dark for 2 hours wondering what was going on. We had to find the bathroom (which is communal) ourselves, and although we had ordered dinner we had no idea where to find it. There was no signal so we couldn’t even text the host, who walked past us sitting in the dark and said a quiet hello but nothing else because she was busy filming something. In the morning we forgot to order breakfast in advance so they said they couldn’t provide us with any food. So we trekked to a nearby cafe and luckily they were able to serve us even though they were closed. We booked a cooking class which was lovely but we barely did anything. We just ground some ingredients and then went and sat outside while they cooked the rest for us. I’d like to be a bit more involved seeing as we paid for a class, not just a meal.
