Okay just to sleep for one night

Room door and frame to door stained and beaten up. Also misc furniture and items cluttering in lobby leading to stairway.Place was outdated and outdoor maintenance neglected.

Usually stay in more updated and maintained hotels.

Checking out was the best thing

Location is amazing.

Breakfast is just absolute garbage. Dirty, stinky, outdated, dark breakfast room. Room was ok for the price. Fireplace broken, Wi-Fi didn’t work at all.

Location was OK to restaurants, Etc. Close to the beach.

Expecting "ocean front" the room was tucked in an upper corner of a shabby building. Room was dark, had no cross ventilation, no air conditioning and no view of anything, certainly not the ocean! Would not stay here again!

Great place to stay, clean , friendly and well located

The views, great access to the beach and walking distance to places to eat.

The bed was not very comfortable. I have back issues and I felt like the springs were popping up

Comfortable furnishings

Fireplace not cleaned leaving room smelling strongly of charcoal and smoke. Exterior was decrepit, landscaping non-existent

No hairdryer in room ... Asked for one they said they didn't have any ... Hot tubs weren't hot .. Barely warm

Fabulous beachfront stay.

Large, newly renovated rooms, right on the ocean. Fabulous large deck area with 3 hot tubs and lots of lounge chairs so there was room for everyone without feeling crowded. Good breakfast with all the usual offerings plus hot items and fresh fruit.

Don't stay here, even as a last minute option. Wish I didn't.

The bed was comfortable... That's about it.

So, what they don't tell you is there's two different hotels. Maybe the other is different. Idk, but it would have been nice to know I wasn't staying in what was advertised. Half the available outlets don't work. No wifi. Can't call the office, just get a busy signal. Bathroom fan doesn't work. Cobwebs and dirt everywhere. Asked about the wifi not working and was told that's the managers department, but it was never addressed and it never worked in our room. SERIOUS DISAPPOINTMENT.

Fun place to stay

We stayed in one of the Irish Rustic Lodges because we like unique, fun places and this was both.. and clean and comfortable!

A complete waste of money, leaving a bad taste to what had been a stellar trip.

We reserved a room at The Gold Beach Inn. We were up in a dumpy cabin at the old hotel next door. I was a complete dive, and I have been double charged as if this writing.

Quite beach stay

Quite location, breakfast was good enough with a choice, appreciate that, morning staff was pleasant.

Night staff lady acted like the tubs n pool was off limits to us the guest in front was fine was odd I thought, one reason I stayed but was not worth dealing with. Desperately needed outside sweeping at door entrance and balcony area not yet done for open season my guess. I'll go back. It was pleasent.

Close to the beach. Bed's are comfortable.

Hot tubs are closed. Room has a window without curtains that lets the sun in at dawn.

Check in office needs some love. Cleaning outside the doors of rooms that have outside carpet need attention.

We enjoyed the area considering it was off season.

Desk staff were very friendly.

Thought we'd get a room with an ocean view considering that the inn was quite empty. The Dorito chip and papers under the desk in the room made us check the sheets before we got into bed - it was fine. A female housekeeper with bluish hair always looked like she was in a bad mood.

Did the job, but wasn’t my favorite place I’ve stayed.

Rooms appear newly renovated and modern.

The cleanliness of this place needs a little bit more attention. Hairs in the shower and in our towels. Made us feel uneasy about how clean everything else was. Advertising of the place is nicer than appears.

The bed was dirty, not stained… dirty. Breakfast of sausage and biscuits wasn’t what we were looking for.

Location and price were outstanding. Cottage with fireplace was sweet.

Shower drain was clogged. Conditioner and body wash dispensers didn’t work.

could hear the surf pounding. great proximity to ocean

check in employee was VERY rude and not helpful. room I booked was in the second floor. only window was into a hallway. it was dirty and smelled of smoke. had to upgrade which was much better and had a nice view. the morning check out employee was pleasant

Asked for a late checkout and enjoyed a 2+ hour walk on the beach!

To walk into our room and look straight out at the beach and ocean! Short walk to a fantastic restaurant!
