The pictures are exact to the condo. There was plenty enough room for our whole family great view of the ocean, the hostess/property owners were very responsive with any questions or problems. Would definitely highly recommend staying here for the price and the location and the view you can’t beat it.

We found this rental to be just like the photos and description. Well laid out floor plan with room for 6 if needed. The kitchen was well stocked, the place was clean, and the king sized bed was comfortable. The large balcony was offset from others for privacy and it has a beautiful view, with room for a table for 4 and still room for more. The parking lot across the street had plenty of room.

Walk in smells clean, beds are made, towels on all the beds. Go into the bathroom find a bath mat soaked and covered in sand. Sand in the tub, red slime on the shower head, and vanity had toothpaste stains down the front of it. Living room sand all over the couch, and foot rests. The rail for the top bunk was missing, eventually found broken in a closet. Start sending photos of what we are seeing/experiencing. Looked at the linens we were left, you could see through one wash cloth and another it looked like someone had wiped something up with it or someone. We went that night and purchased new towels.All sheets were placed in the dryer for good measure. Noticed when the dryer was on the condo got a little humid. Come to find out the dryer was venting into the condo and all the lint was getting sucked into the air filter. Speaking through the app manger said housekeeping and maintenance would be over the following day. Maintenance was awesome, got new filter put in and said that he would order the part for the dryer. House keeping NEVER SHOWED. Talked to the manger again, house keeping will be there, I told them not to bother because at that point I had already had to clean up AND PURCHASE new towels for my family. Of things couldn’t get worse, I jump in the shower the following day and find the shower curtain with mold and red slime! Asked for that to get changed that day.Long story short, the cleanliness was never addressed because they never showed up. Never offered refund

Having stayed in MANY hotels, we were disappointed in the cleanliness, especially the bathroom, using a bath rug that we’re sure has not seen a washing machine in several months at least! Filthy! The quality of the bed linens was very disappointing. Thin fabric and very wrinkled.
Microwave front smeared. Whoever was there last should have filled the ice trays! No ice maker and empty trays, at least 5 of them. We left them full. Whoever is charging you for the cleaning and linens is making a bundle! Towels thin and washcloths like sandpaper! Sorry, but won’t be back.

This property is well-maintained. My condo was just as in the pictures. My husband and I had a wonderful time both in side and out visiting the nearby, shops and restaurants. It’s so wonderful to have come back from shopping, relax, and head to the beach, which was right nearby. Whenever we come back to visit the area, we would love our same condo. My only concern is How long before our deposit is returned?

The condo is exactly as pictured! The balcony view is spectacular. I loved the ease of coming and going from the condo with close parking. Not busy in October which made for a relaxing peaceful vacation. North Myrtle Beach is a great location and this condo is one I definitely will stay at again!

I have no idea what everyone was complaining about. The condo had been freshly painted (could smell when I walked in but it disappeared quickly) and was clean, the kitchen was well stocked with glasses, cups, utensils, etc, the pool was great, the beach access was perfect, the bed was comfy (tip to owner: splurge on a couple memory foam pillows when Walmart has them on sale for $35 and the sleep experience would be perfect). The shower was hot and the pressure was great. The balcony was the perfect place to have a glass of wine in the evening and watch the waves. Parking was easy (once we found the sign that said extra parking across the street LOL). It was an excellent location with easy access to evertyhing. Would definitely book again.

Can’t speak for the other reviews, but this is a great place to stay in NMB/Cherry Grove. My wife and I have rented this place multiple times with great experiences. Perfect for small groups or families. The building has been around for a while so there is evidence on the exterior. However, this unit is very well kept. Beach access is very close to the building, along the short boardwalk. Ample parking, multiple elevators, and a great pool area.

This property was conveniently located on the beach, and really not a bad walk from Main Street. It was quiet, the parking was convenient, and we liked the area a lot. I gave the description of the property a low rating because it was unclear where the bunk beds were located, and because when we searched for a rental we were specifically looking for a place with a hot tub. This location was in that search and we sound several references to a hot tub on Vrbo, but there was none to be found at the property. That was really frustrating. I knocked off one star for cleanliness because the dryer in the unit was broken and the washer smelled terrible so we never used it. Check-in was very easy, but outside of the check-in instructions, we never really received any communication. Nobody checked in or thanked us for staying, and our "welcome bag" was just parking passes, a roll of TP, and a few miniature cleaning supplies. Great stay if you're looking for family basics on the beach, but don't book on the basis of a hot tub or personal touch.

There are several small repairs needed. No soap or shampoo was provided and there was no blow dryer. Several of the cooking pans and utensils are overdue to be replaced.

The condo was not clean. They use a 3rd party cleaning company. The floors were not vacuumed nor mopped. The toilet was not cleaned. They put a paper seal on the toilet to make it look as if it was cleaned. The light fixture in the bathroom was hanging down.The washer/dryer has never been cleaned and it is rusting. The bed pad had hair on it and was probably never washed. We did not expect to have to clean on the first hour we were there.The only positive to come out of this was that the property manager replied quickly to our complaints and had maintenance come the next day to fix the light.

I had reviewed the pics online and had great location. On arrival was very easy checking in process. The property is in need of major cosmetic upgrades. The ceiling is falling in the shower, living room. And large piece was cut out going into the bathroom. The dryer was tapped together. It was not at all as the pictures portray online.

The location and view were outstanding! The condo could use a good cleaning and repairs. The ceilings in the shower and in the living room are peeling pretty badly, rugs are curled, patio furniture in bad shape, etc. Also, listing shows there is an oceanfront hot tub....no hot tub on property.

A bit overpriced
Nice location, nice facility, bridge to the beach, pool ect. Room was sub par cosmetically. Ceilings falling apart, shower curtain moldy, patio cleanliness and furniture left something to be desired. It was a great view just filthy rusty and stained furniture. Also bring your own soap and shampoo. The welcome kit has a roll of TP and paper towels but thats about it. Its not a bad spot but for the price there are units in better shape in this location.

SUMMARY OF STAY AT TIDEMASTER
There was poor communication and poor representation regarding this property:
• I emailed the property manager two days before we were to arrive to ask if there was an iron/board and hair dryer. Also asked which address to use to get to the property. I had gotten two different ones in my reservation email. NO REPLY from property manager.
• As we got closer to the property I called VRBO with the number I was given to speak to someone for assistance. It is not open for business on Sundays. There was a prompt to confirm my arrival address.
• Once in the room we noticed that the ceiling above the shower/tub was peeling, the soap dish in the bathroom was missing, there were no drain plugs in the tub, bathroom sink, and both kitchen sinks.
• We asked for a one bedroom. This unit has a built—in bunk bed as well.
• The online photo of the unit showed the bedroom had an ocean view. Ours backed up to a hallway with people and traffic noise.
• Photo also showed an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, multiple hot tubs and a lazy river. This condo had one small pool.
• Monday morning I called VRBO to get assistance. The rep. told me there was another number which was answered 24/7. Would have been nice to have ahead of time. I told her the problems I had experienced. I was told to take pictures and text them to her. My wife and I are not tech savvy. At breakfast we asked a waitress to assist us. We sent the photos. We did not hear back that morning so I called later in the afternoon. I gave the claim number. he new rep. said we had to call the property manger first. We had already tried that and her mailbox was full. The rep. tried to call but got the same message. He said he would email her and call me on Tuesday morning.
• Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Friday Saturday; no call from anyone.
• Friday from mid day until we left there the TV would not work. We got a prompt on the screen to call a certain number for support. We called. One would have to know the account number to use this service.
Bottom line; a frustrating vacation!
