The rental has a full kitchen with updated appliances, a large living room with flat screen television, a comfy bedroom with a heavenly king-size bed, and a large bathroom with a washer and dryer closet. A cozy front porch sits just off the kitchen and dining area, offering a perfect spot to enjoy the morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine. Stylishly decorated throughout, this apartment is perfect for a quiet romantic weekend or as a base camp for accessing all of the cultural and outdoor adventures that Brevard and Western North Carolina offer. We were impressed as soon as we walked thru the door. Kim and Steve have made a truly warm comfortable place to relax. It's a beautiful home away from home! Everything was perfect and we loved the extra touches of fresh flowers and goodies left for us!

Kim and Steve have put together an amazing place to stay on your visit to Brevard. The care and love put into creating the welcoming barn apartment are evident in so many little aspects of the barn. The pictures do not do it justice! Not to mention, Steve and Kim are wonderful and attentive hosts. We loved our stay here and can't wait to return!

The "Barn" was perfect for our visit to the Brevard area! The home is immaculate, updated and modern, yet also decorated with rustic touches (in keeping with its outer red barn look). The hosts provided everything we could possibly have needed and even added some extras that were very much appreciated (chocolates and fresh flowers to name just two!). The grounds are beautifully kept, and the property is private and quiet. It is easy to get to and very convenient to everything in the area. We would definitely stay at The Barn again!
Oh - and we even saw a white squirrel on the fence right outside the front door (if you're familiar with Brevard, you'll understand!)

What a lovely place--beautifully decorated, clean, and with lots of sweet details. The barn was so comfortable--we felt pampered, even--but there was a relaxed simplicity as well. The property was gorgeous, and when we did venture into town it was so easy to get to Brevard. We would definitely love to return.

We could not have asked for better accommodations than this. Everything that you could ever need was there. The personal touches provided by the owners made for an even more special visit to this little country barn. Multiple hiking locations, dining, and shopping were all just a short drive. There was plenty of privacy. Everything made for such an enjoyable vacation.

This is a return trip to the red barn. This accommodation is so comfortable, cozy, clean, charming, and close to town. The river on property makes for a lovely walk. The hosts are so kind. Would defiantly recommend.

It's a bit outside of Brevard proper, and you'd never know it was there if it weren't for VRBO. Very cozy, peaceful, and inviting. Perfect little getaway for a couple. We drank coffee every morning on the porch. Steve and Kim provide a lovely property and the barn is right beside their house so you know if anything goes wrong, they'll be able to help. We will definitely go stay there again next time we are in Brevard.

The home was spacious, very clean, comfortable beds, had everything you would need. It was perfect! We would rate it 10/10. Close to many outdoor adventures, shopping, restaurants, and concerts.

A must if staying in or near Brevard. Great location and extremely clean. We did a lot of hiking in Pisgah Forest so we did not get to meet the hosts, hopefully next time.

A return visit for us. Kim and Steve have thought of every small detail at the barn. We were able to enjoy wine on the front porch, took a walk on the property, cooked steaks on the grill and took advantage of the cozy confines in the barn. The turning leaves added to the ambience. Everything you need to cook your own meal is available. Coupled with the unique Brevard town experience and located in a country setting, the Barn is the ideal lauching spot for a superb getaway. We will definitely return.
