Fabulous but no thanks to you

I had great difficulty paying for my accomodation through this website as you wouldn’t accept my visa debit card and I was extremely grateful for the owner of the property to allow me to at him on my return. I will make sure to never book a holiday through you and warn all my friends on a pension to avoid you as well. Banks don’t give people on the aged pension master cards!

Doesn’t matter because I will absolutely avoid booking anything with you ever again and will warn all my pensioner friends to avoid you as well!

Perfect spot for snorkeling (lots of fish, stunning coral, dugongs and reef sharks). 100% recommend for a couple bit not

Beautiful spot, incredible reef for snorkeling, private, very friendly caregiver and cat, perfect for relaxing

not ideal for 4 people, probably a maximum of 3 per cabin is better. (kitchen is only equipped with plates and cutlery for 2/3) the fridge had a very strange smell. small breakfast

Unbeatable location

Absolutely loved our recent stay at Aore Breeze. The location is unbeatable and our unit was great. If you would like to get away from it all, disconnect and reconnect with nature, this is the spot to book. Russel was super helpful and accommodating, Istvan was very responsive to our messages.

Perfect island getaway

Bungalow with very large deck overlooking your own private beach. Immaculately maintained gardens. Very decent reef right there, free kayaks and the area is definitely worth a paddle - very calm and peaceful just past the point. We were diving very early each day and had our breakfast made at 6.30am everyday. Tasty and different every day. Extremely appreciative of the service from Russell and his wife who prepared these super early breakfasts, drove us to the diving shop every day or other places as required. Lastly we had to ask a big favor from Russell as we left behind a speaker that we'd just bought and he brought it back to Santo when convenient.

I wasn't a fan of the bed pillow, only a small detail which definitely didn't ruin my stay

Great spot to relax and enjoy the diving/exploring Aore

We stayed on Aore to visit some friends and Aore Breeze was the perfect spot! The apartments are modern and super comfortable and the snorkelling and kayaking right out front was amazing. Russel and his partner cooked us yummy breakfasts and if we needed a lift to other parts of the island Russel took us on the motorbike whenever we needed. Cellphone reception is a bit hit or miss so you need to pre arrange with him if you want to be picked up. We loved our stay at Aore Breeze and would come back

4 nights cut down to 1 night.

The beach and the natural surroundings

Was advertised as having 'a restaurant' - which of course implies having a menu of choices, and 'a bar' which of course usually means a wide selection of drinks etc. But there were no choices for food and just beer or wine. And WIFI (which was charged extra) hardly worked at all. After one night I let the owner know I would be moving on. This is when I learnt that I could not settle the bill with card. This meant having to go back into town with the owner following, to visit ATM in order to pay cash. Not ideal.

Nice, new, self-contained rooms and a beautiful reef out the front.

We initially had 4 nights booked at Aore Breeze, however we were only able to stay 1 night due to flight changes by Air Vanuatu from the Covid-19 outbreak. These changes were not made by us and we had little choice in the matter. Istvan, however, said that due to fees he would incur from bookings.com, tax reasons and an upcoming lack of business, we would still have to pay him the entire amount. This was really disappointing and it took persistent negotiation to convince Istvan to meet us half way and pay for half of the total cost of the 3 nights we couldn’t stay. How hosts and accommodation deal with cancellations due to the coronavirus says a lot about the business and the people who run it. We don’t feel Aore Breeze supported their customers during this unpredictable time and from this experience, I would not recommend staying here.

Wonderful accommodation in a stunning location with the most hospitable owner.

Wonderfully comfy, carefully designed and good quality bungalows, the feel of exclusivity. Just sitting on the balcony with a drink (bring your own, there's good fridge in your kitchen but no bar in the resort!) is already a great experience, not to mention if you do that at sunrise or sunset. The coral reef on your doorstep offers good snorkeling, although the sea can be a bit rough on windy days. Free use of new kayaks. István is a great host, very nice and friendly person who is great to chat with and also a valuable source of information on activities. His attention to detail is evident not only from the quality of the bungalows, but also from the wide range of information provided in your room upon arrival (from the history of Aore island to activities and tide times). He'll take good care of you, may it be your boat transfer from Luganville or round the island trip on Aore.

There's really nothing to complain about. Breakfast is not offered (yet), since István mostly runs the place alone, but this is made clear already before you book, so no unexpected surprise. On the other hand, the kitchen is very well equipped, gas cooker, fridge, pots, pans, plates and all the small utensils that anyone with common sense can only wish for in a holiday home.
