This fully appointed South Venice home will be the STAR of your vacation. Upon entering the home you will sigh with delight at the beautifully decorated beach themed living room. Three fully dressed bedrooms, 2 baths with fresh, fluffy towels, a private, fully fenced backyard, screened lanai with solar-heated pool, & a garage for storage. The Star of Venice will make you never want to go home! The Star of Venice features a split floor plan providing privacy for all. Your perfect vacation spot is located close to numerous beaches. Manasota & Venice beaches are just a few minutes away in either direction. Check out Caspersen Beach, Nokomis Beach & Siesta Key Beaches all within a 15-30 minute drive as well. Enjoy the Florida breezes by opening up all the sliding doors to the lanai, two sets are pocketing doors, making it a perfect spot for entertaining & for meals poolside. The Star of Venice is located just minutes from Shamrock Park w/lighted tennis courts, basketball courts, playground, picnic shelter & trailhead for the Venetian Waterway & Legacy bike/multi-use trails. Horseshoe pits & pickleball courts can be found close by at Woodmere Park. Multiple adult bikes and a child size bikes are available in the garage for your use. You won't be hungry for long around here. You can easily cook meals in the fully appointed kitchen or poolside on the Weber gas grill. There are plenty of great restaurants that will meet the needs of the most critical foodie, many within 2 miles or that deliver. You can walk off those extra calories along the many trails or beaches & enjoy free beach yoga and shopping nearby. There are several gyms, including Planet Fitness and YMCA within 2 miles. In the master bedroom you will enjoy the walk-in shower, king bedroom suite with Serta pillow top mattress and large walk-in closet. The pocketing sliding glass doors open to the screened lanai and pool. On the opposite side of the house, the second bedroom has a queen bedroom suite and shares the pool bath with the 3rd bedroom. The 3rd bedroom (bunkroom) also has a large closet and a twin over full bunk bed. There is a dedicated workspace with desk there as well. A spacious dining room for meals just off the kitchen that also opens to the lanai has a large table to seat the whole family. In the kitchen you will find ample cabinet storage, stainless steel french door refrigerator with freezer on bottom, dishwasher, electric range, microwave & reverse osmosis water dispenser. Just off the kitchen is the utility room with washer and dryer and additional sink, as well as additional pantry and storage. Through the laundry room you can access the garage, which is great for coming in from the beach and depositing beach chairs, coolers & sandy swimsuits. The garage has plenty of room to store bicycles, kayaks, and beach gear. My minivan is stored there but can be easily moved to make parking available at your request. Available for use are beach chairs, coolers, shark tooth sifters & beach towels. There is additionally a wagon, beach umbrella, lots of beach toys & bicycles, all for guest use. The living room is comfortably decorated in beach theme with leather couch and loveseat and upholstered reclining chair. There are TVs in all bedrooms, family room, and dining area. The Xfinity cable & internet will allow you to easily stream or surf whenever you wish, or work if needed. The backyard is fully fenced for your furbabies. The vinyl fence also makes the backyard very private. Great for swimming and laying out poolside. Make sure to enjoy the beautiful Plumeria and Meyer lemon trees. The Star of Venice is located on a quiet street in South Venice. The property is pet-friendly with prior approval and pet deposit, the neighborhood has a "dog walk meet & greet" each evening around 5:30. There is Brohard dog beach/paw park for furry friends and Venice has many pet-friendly areas and restaurants. Make the Star of Venice your home away from home and the star of your vacation. Great location to beaches and shopping. Great house layout with 3 bedrooms sleeping 7. All the beach toys and baby needs you could ask for. And a great pool. Michelle was a great host responding quickly to any and all questions.

Perfect place for my family. We had a 4 and 1 year old, had everything we needed. Had a lot of pool and beach toys. The pool was great. Close to beaches, downtown Venice and other attractions. Quiet neighborhood, no sidewalks for walking but drivers moved over when they saw you. Really enjoyed our stay.

The house is tucked way back in the neighborhood, so it's very quiet and there is very little traffic. It was exactly as described. The house was accessible by a keypad on the front door which was very easy and convenient. My husband and I were mostly there ourselves, although the house would comfortably accommodate a few more people. It was great to be able to bring our dog as there are several very nice parks with walking trails close by (short car ride) specifically Shamrock and Lemon Bay. Walking in the neighborhood was safe since there was very little traffic. The pool was a nice size and was warmed by solar panels. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking meals at home. The beds were comfy (we only used the King and Queen bedrooms). We appreciated that the house was very clean upon our arrival. The host was very nice to work with and quick to respond to any of my texts. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend the house to family and friends.

We enjoyed our stay here. We had 2 families and the house had plenty of space for 4 adults and our teenage children. The house was very clean and bright. The beds were comfortable. The owner had everything we needed for the week. The location is close to many different beaches and restaurants. We would definitely recommend this place.

Great location in a quiet neighborhood.
Great dog parks close by, since there are
no sidewalks for walking your dogs, but not a lot of traffic. Nice solar heated pool. House nicely kept and clean. A great place to stay in Venice.

We love going to Venice each year, taking the S. Venice Ferry to a kind of private beach to look for shark teeth. The ad mentioned passes for the ferry so all was great. Then, just before the trip, we found out passes weren’t included due to a rule change. Wish we had known that sooner but ultimately it wouldn’t have made a difference-a rule is a rule. Mentioned this to host-she immediately apologized and said that now only people who stayed 30 days could use pass and would immediately change her ad to inform people of the new regulations. She even offered to refund our money but we had already made our plans and didn’t want the hassle of trying to find another place. She was very polite the whole time-even offered us an early check-in! So anyhow, once we got over the initial disappointment, we had a very enjoyable time. The house was convenient and we enjoyed area restaurants (especially Left Coast Seafood with their daily specials) and shark tooth hunting at Casperson Beach. We celebrated a birthday with a fishing charter (about an hour away). We left the weekend before the hurricane and forgot and left some glasses there. Host said she would have housekeeper get them then BOOM-hurricane. So glasses took a while to get sent, but they are on their way. She kept in touch the whole time! To sum up-after the early misunderstanding, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and host answered texts almost immediately, each time. We made sure to follow instructions for check-out exactly (even took pictures) because she tried very hard to make our stay good-and with the hurricane coming, they would have enough to worry about! I recommend this place and this host very much.

An amazing summer vacation on Fourth of July week
We had such an amazing vacation at this home. Upon arrival the house was even better than it was described. The cleanliness of the house was amazing. The house was stocked with all the amenities all we had to do was bring food and drinks. They even had all that you needed to use in the beach. The location of the house was within 20 minutes of everything. The neighborhood was very quiet and easy to access. I would recommend this home for anyone. I am going to be renting it every year. The property managers are so nice and they get in contact with you immediately in case if any questions.

Home away from home
The house is very well kept and clean. The kids enjoyed swimming in the pool and there were lots of floats and toys for the pool available. We loved the layout of the house. The three bedrooms are spread out so everyone had their own space at night. There is an abundance of beach towels which was so nice! There are lots of different beaches close by. We would definitely stay at this property again!

Wonderful stay
Our stay at the Star of Venice was nothing short of amazing! The owners thought of everything that we would need for our stay. The location was great, having our own pool was fabulous too! Michelle always responded promptly to any questions I had and even checked on us mid week to make sure all was well. Thank you for making our stay feel just like home!

Home away from home
This house was definitely just like being at my own house. It was very comfortable in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Neighbors walking their dogs even stopped to speak and give advice on where to go hang out with our fur baby. The homeowner kept in touch to always make sure we had what was needed and knew where everything was. I would definitely love to stay there again!

Wonderful Stay at Star of Venice!
My husband and I stayed at the property for a week with our 6 and 13 year old. Michelle was incredibly helpful in providing clear and detailed information leading up to our stay and was just a text away to answer questions. She was very attentive and helpful! The house was lovely and was the most equipped home I've ever stayed in! Both the household supplies and the recreational items they provided were spot on! Beds were comfortable and the lanai and pool were our go-to hang out spots. The pool was incredibly warm and enjoyable - my kids were in it whenever we were home. I tried to book the house again for next year, only to find it's already booked. That tells you something too!

We had a really good time. The house was nice and any time we had a problem Michelle got it taken care of quickly. Even though it was cold the last couple of days it was still warmer than Iowa!We made it back home just before the storm!

We couldn’t have asked for more beautiful weather, 80’s all week. We visited a few of the local beaches. It was great to have chairs and sifters available to bring along, as well as beach towels.
Sadly the prior renters forgot to replace the pool cover, so it wasn’t warm enough to swim until our third full day there. Also in December the pool only gets partial sun later afternoon. We did empty the bin of pool accessories as everything inside was soaking wet. The donut floatie we discovered has a hole, as does the pool cover.
The house had plenty of space, and we enjoyed being able to eat in the lanai area. Having two bathrooms was a plus. Could use one more towel rack or hook in the master bath. Loved the shower head. The kitchen had most of what we needed.
It would have been nice to be able to park our vehicle in the garage. Would also have liked the hose to be more accessible for rinsing our feet. Having it in back wasn’t really useful.
The cleanliness rating stems from the house needing an overall deep clean. Floors were a bit gritty (maybe not the best type of vacuum for sand), and surfaces were dusty as well as behind/under the beds. Kitchen cabinet surfaces had a sticky feel like they haven’t been wiped down for a while. Cupboards could use sorting/neatening inside.
For planning purposes it would be useful to know what items are already in supply. Needed to buy laundry and dishwasher detergent as there was almost none. A few things we found after grocery shopping, like peanut butter and oatmeal. In part that was due to arriving rather late from our flight and drive to the location.
Overall the home had the space we needed and was close to stores and beaches. The neighborhood was quiet.

Thanksgiving Family Gathering
The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to prepare a complete Thanksgiving dinner. The children loved the pool and swam everyday. The ferry ride to South Venice Beach was a wonderful excursion for all!

Great Getaway!
What a great getaway! This house is so spacious and clean. It has everything needed including towels, beach bags, tons of kitchen supplies and spices. It was in a quiet neighborhood and the pool was wonderful. The kids had a blast swimming in it and I enjoyed sitting outside. The location is great and close to beautiful beaches, shops and restaurants. Communication with Michelle, the property owner, was excellent. She checked in with us daily. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Overall Wonderful Experience

The group of us all fit very comfortably in the house, and the pool was amazing for us. The yard outside the pool is also a lot larger than expected. Owners were very communicative during our stay and did not hesitate to respond to any questions we had. We had absolutely no complaints for this house and we all would highly recommend staying here!

We would definitely stay here again. We had four adults and three young kids and there was more than enough room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Michelle was very helpful. She was quick to respond to any questions and had wonderful suggestions to improve our stay. The house had all the essentials to enjoy the week. We cooked a lot at the house and the kitchen and grill worked out great. The amount of beach gear and towels to borrow is astounding, the pool was clean and the extra seating around the pool was nice. There are also many beaches to pick from in the area that offer different vibes and types. The neighborhood is quiet and close to grocery and department stores for anything that you need. We had an amazing stay! Thanks for sharing your home with us.
