I stayed for four (4) months at Green Grapefruit. I was initially going to stay for 30 days, but I fell in love with Hoi An, and Green Grapefruit was so great I kept renewing my stay. It was home, not a hotel for me for my entire stay there. The hostess was super accommodating and extremely attentive. When I come back to Hoi An in springtime I will be staying here again.
There were a few issues with the water pressure in my room but it was only slightly inconvenient.

We liked the location and the relaxing atmosphere of the place.
The price is great and you get what you pay for.
We made most of the bike rental while we were there. The location is great ,close to the centre and river, but not right in the middle of the noise. The village was peaceful and welcoming just what we were looking for.
I have read a number of reviews about the owner and the cleanliness. Yes, the owner does try to suggest going to her sister’s shop etc, but most of the people we met while we were there knew someone and tried to recommend their friend so she only did what seems to be the norm there. And the cleanliness, yeah ok they don’t come and clean your room everyday but the positives outweigh this by far. If you want a luxury hotel then this isn’t the place for you. If you want to stay in a relaxing, peaceful place that you feel at home in then I would recommend here. And we would definitely return here.

We loved staying at green grapefruit villa, so much that we extended our stay from 7 nights to 25 nights. Owned and run by a beautiful, friendly family who were always working around the villa
Very generous and helped if we ever needed it, offering us snacks to try all the time. We stayed in 2 different rooms and loved them both. Thank you Hieu, Long and your mum, dad, sisters, brother and staff. Miss seeing your dad everyday., thank you and regards Dave and Chris.

I think the location was convenient. Host lady was friendly and helpful. Bed was pretty good. Price for the night is low.
Pictures didnt match reality. The floods had made damage to the rooms, you can smell mold in rooms that are downstairs. We refused to stay downstairs and got one room upstairs. Cleanlines was not really spot on, you can see dust and spider webs, last customer had left some apple wedges in the fridge. Only 1 towel per guest was in the room, no hand towels, no floor towel. Didnt feel ourselves comfortable, so checked out after 1 night and paid a little more to get brand new hotel room nearby.
